Mum (92) has now been in Wiltshire Heights for about a year after it became clear that Dad (95) was not able to care for her any longer as she had been in hospital and has mild dementia. From the day she moved in we felt a great sense of relief that she was now well cared for. As we are very local we
pop in frequently and have got to know the staff, and I have to say that they are fantastic, her care has been brilliant even as she declines and needs more attention. The atmosphere is lovely, there is always someone to have a laugh with, and it really does feel like a "home". Last September when we were in need of a holiday, Dad came in for respite for 3 weeks and he enjoyed it, and I am sure that when he can no longer cope in his flat he will move to Wiltshire Heights as well.

Making the decision to move Mum to a care home wasn't an easy one. As soon as I visited Wiltshire Heights I knew that it was going to be the right place. From the first phone contact to initial visits and moving in, my Mum and I were treated with kindness, care, respect and understanding. All the staff
are welcoming, skilled, extremely professional and have gone above and beyond to accommodate and meet Mum's needs. Her room is very clean and homely and it is a huge benefit having access to the garden to watch the birds and squirrels. Attention to detail is meticulous with regard to health care and medication and Mum is always shown the utmost respect and treated with dignity. Mealtimes give the day structure and social interaction as well as delicious and varied food! The programme of activities is comprehensive and delivered in a stimulating way by a talented team. There are not enough superlatives to describe the experience my family is having at Wiltshire Heights!

I moved my parents into Wiltshire Heights in Bradford-on-Avon last August. They had been living with me but they were struggling with stairs and using the shower room. It was my father who suggested moving into a care home. We saw a number of homes but Wiltshire Heights was by far the best. The team
was so supportive and accommodating at the viewings that it showed the home was the right fit for my dear parents. Mum and Dad fell in love with the house and were happy to move in. Wiltshire Heights is like a home and not a facility, all the staff from management to the housekeeping team are friendly and respectful of the needs of my parents. There are also a lot of varied activities which they join in with and a lot of trips and I feel confidence and assured that my dear parents are being looked after by a professional and supportive team.

We had to organise respite care for my mum at very short notice after she had a fall. All the staff at Wiltshire Heights were very helpful and efficient. They arranged a place very quickly and took all the stress out of the situation. The care Mum received was excellent and with great dignity and compassion.
I would definitely come back to Wiltshire Heights if required and highly recommend the home and their staff.

My father stayed here for a few weeks respite care after breaking his leg and coming out of hospital. The care we received was wonderful and he was given nursing care as well as companionship.
Originally he was due to stay for 2 weeks but we extended his stay for an extra week to get him mobilized
and back to feeling that he would be able to cope back at his retirement village. A routine of good care, excellent food at regular times and an adjustment to his medication worked wonders.

Wiltshire Heights is a godsend. A wonderful home where my aunt has been welcomed and cared for appropriately and with great kindness. The room is spacious and clean. The food is varied, delicious and plentiful. After a slightly wobbly start, my aunt is now pleased to call it home.

Since my husband's move to Wiltshire Heights, I feel such a relief that he is now receiving excellent care in a comfortable and pleasant environment. I cannot speak highly enough of all the staff at all levels, but it must be hats off to the very kind and courteous care personnel for their respectful
and compassionate interactions with my husband. I must also praise the kitchen staff for making meal times a delight, and for catering for the particular dietary requirements of my husband. Devastating as it is, I am content that he is in the best care environment.

My mother who has Parkinson's and dementia has received a very top quality of care at this home on her final days with us. We cannot thank the staff enough for their kindness and love for our mother and the level of care has been very professional and so kind. I highly recommend this care home and can't
thank everybody enough. The manager is fantastic, kind and very welcoming. A great job and top quality level of service. All residents met so far in this home are very happy and always smiling. All cleaning staff are an asset to the company, this place is 5 star. Thank you all so much for caring for my mum and looking after my dad!

Can't thank the staff and everyone involved in the running and high levels of care for my wife. She has Parkinson's and dementia. This home prides itself in number one care for all residents. The manager is fantastic and would like to thank him and all staff for their love, respect and kindness. This
home is well prepared and organised to accommodate and care for most needs on a very high level. The care for my wife on her final days has been fantastic and top quality, filled with love and compassion at such a difficult time. Thank you to all involved.

Mum was reluctant to move to a care home, but advancing dementia required it. Once she visited Wiltshire Heights she was won over by the impressive facilities and friendly staff and settled in well: living there from February 2019 to March 2024. Mum was safe, fed well and looked after there - and happier
than I've ever seen her in my whole life! She soon made friends among the other residents, usually sharing a table together at mealtimes. She enjoyed walking the corridor for exercise, participating in group activities, and meeting other residents and staff (whom she often hugged - a reflection of the kindness they showed to her). I know Mum was well cared for there, and treated with love and respect. Wiltshire Heights is exceptionally well run, with a clear team spirit, and an ethos that all people matter. The result is happy staff, friendly, open and professional in their attitude and always ready to help. It's just what Mum needed and what I needed for her. Thank you so much!

I have been meaning to write to thank you all for the care you are giving my mum on Willow Ward at Wiltshire Heights, Bradford-On-Avon.
It was lovely to see the care and love Mum received from your staff.
Three members of staff in particular were just lovely with special mention to another three members
of staff who went that extra mile for Mum.
The cleaners would also pop in for a chat to see how Mum was doing, which shows the beautiful interaction all staff have with the residents.
The particular member of staff from the activities team has always been amazing.
The nurses were amazing with three members of staff having tough shifts at the weekend, trying to get through to the NHS.
Another staff member is an absolute asset to your team, sorting out a lot of issues during the week, always with a smile.
Another staff member was always ready to chat and explain things.
Another would often stop and make sure everything was going well and it was lovely to chat on a more personal level.
I do apologise if I have forgotten anyone.

My father came to Wiltshire Heights after a long stay in hospital after a fall. He was cared for by the team on Poppy floor initially and then he moved to the ground floor for some respite care. All the staff were fantastic - they worked hard to help him build back his physical strength and mobility,
and his overall confidence - and they were all so kind and attentive. My father returned to independent living at home after a 5 week stay at Wiltshire Heights and is continuing to improve. A big thank you to all the staff at Wiltshire Heights who go to know him, and who helped him return to his home.

Dad adjusted quickly to being looked after. Over the year he has formed very positive relationships with staff and enjoyed the stimulation offered by the activities team. While mentally very bright and inquiring with many interests he had physical needs. He feels safe and well looked after and his general
state of health is improved through excellent nutrition and regular exercise as well as the kindness of the care staff. He has recently been able to move from extra care to residential as a result of these changes. We as a family have been very pleased by how his needs are met. He has a more positive state of mind and we have returned to enjoying him as his children rather than carers which has benefitted us all. There will always be adjustments to be made and occasional questions to ask when such a change is made but we thank the Wiltshire Heights staff for always being approachable and receptive. A very positive experience for us all, thank you.

My husband first came to Wiltshire Heights Care Home for respite care but after 1 week the family realised that it would be the right place for him to live permanently. I always look forward to my weekly visit to Wiltshire Heights for a Scrabble session. The games themselves are competitive but fun and the opportunity to chat together with a cup of tea and slice of cake are so enjoyable.
The gardens at this time of year are particularly colourful and I regularly see
residents either enjoying a gentle stroll or just relaxing in this lovely outdoor space.
May and the Kings Coronation. This meant party time, expertly planned by the activities team, red, blue and white decorations were in abundance, photos taken, crowns for all, a delicious afternoon tea, live music to singalong to and so many smiling faces, what a happy afternoon!

Hello, my name is Charlie Osgood, and I am the Home Manager here at Wiltshire Heights.


I started my career in care in 1992, working nights as a carer in a nursing home. I loved the job, and it prompted me to undertake my nurse training in London and return to the same nursing home in 2000 in the position of home manager. I then managed this home for three years.


In the 20 years that followed, I have managed two other nursing homes, worked as a training and development manager and also been a regional manager for a small care provider consisting of five care homes.


I am passionate about care and the need to build positive relationships and work in partnership with our residents, their loved ones, our team, local professionals and advocates to achieve the best possible care and outcomes for individuals living in our home, and I am particularly excited about the opportunity to manage a home as impressive as Wiltshire Heights.

Hello, my name is Jas, and I am the Client Services Manager here at Wiltshire Heights.


I have experience working in various customer service roles, from group reservations and event management to regional sales management. I loved working in events and organising weddings, corporate conferences and seasonal parties. I have also worked for the NHS in various hospitals as a clinical coordinator.


I came into the care sector hoping to use my experience to support our residents in living a well-rounded life. I am able to use my experience in events to plan special occasions for everybody in our home to enjoy, so not only do our residents receive excellent care, but they also have a great time socially as part of the Wiltshire Heights community.


I feel incredibly lucky to be part of this fantastic home.

Job Title: Head Housekeeper Joined: 2018

Hello, my name is Sally Bullock, and I am the Head Housekeeper here at Wiltshire Heights.


I originally joined Wiltshire Heights as a night carer and eventually became head housekeeper. I loved both roles, however, I feel housekeeping is where my talents really lie. Before this, I worked in a senior school, however after 25 years I decided I wanted to try something different.


As part of my role, I have the privilege of spending time with our residents on a daily basis, mingling and chatting with them and finding out whether there is anything I can do for them. I am lucky to have a great team who keeps our home sparkling clean and shares my sentiment that nothing is too much for our lovely residents.
