Lakeview is a wonderful care home. The staff and management team are all so kind and caring towards residents and take great care of my Dad. The activities team organise lots of engaging events tailored to residents interests and physical abilities. The grounds and the home are beautifully maintained and residents enjoy the gardens. The catering team put on lovely menus daily and carer for all the in house events, such as parties and seasonal celebrations. There is always something going on. We are so grateful to all the team for all the care and assistance they give to my Dad who is very happy here.

I am extremely happy with every aspect of care given to my father. Each and every one of the staff cares about his individual needs, the level of care is second to none. The standards are of the highest quality and the home is managed expertly along with the team of caring, professional and friendly staff. The rooms are comfortable and personalised and the activity schedule and menus are both engaging and excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend Lakeview Care Home.

I am really pleased we chose Lakeview as a home for my husband, he has been very well cared for on the dementia floor. The staff are so welcoming and kind and always keep me informed of any issues or changes. The home is superbly clean and modern and very homely. I am always given a warm welcome, whatever time of the day I visit. There is lots going on each day, activities for residents and social events for residents and families. There is always a great choice of food on the menu and snacks throughout the day. I cannot speak highly enough of this excellent home.

When mum needed respite care, luckily we found Lakeview in our village! The care given was superb. Mum was well looked after. Being a lady who always liked to look good in her business life, she was delighted to discuss her outfit of the day and to have her nails polished. We were more than happy.

I usually visit once a month with members of the local church. We have a short service of hymns for those who wish to join in. The residents are always very happy and seem to really enjoy living in Lakeview. We sit with them and have a cup of tea or coffee after the service. It is always a joy to be with them and the staff who are also very kind and friendly.

My mother became a resident in October 2024. Her care has since been exemplary. The care home is bright, spacious and welcoming. The staff are caring and attentive, seeing to all her needs and always encouraging her to engage in activities and leave the confines of her room. I have only praise for their efforts.

When I was searching for a care home for my mother, Hallmark Lakeview stood out from the others. I visited because it seemed to have a genuine community spirit. The staff were warm and welcoming, everybody seemed to know who all the family visitors were. The residents seemed genuinely happy and pleased to be there. My mother has now been at Lakeview for a few years and I can honestly say that the team constantly strive to make life better for the residents all the time.

I found Lakeview care home after my uncle was admitted to hospital after a fall at home. He moved into Lakeview initially for a respite period but he settled so well, he agreed to make it permanent soon after. Thank you to Lakeview for facilitating a very smooth transition for him, for being efficient and for great care.

Every day I spend with my mother at Lakeview is wonderful, thanks to the superb family of staff there. Warm, welcoming, knowledgeable, relaxed, patient and so caring. I helped my mother join in with some of their numerous activities and watched the smiles on the faces of all the residents around us. What magic they work there! We are so very lucky to have these lovely staff helping us through the difficulties caused by dementia, our mother is in very safe hands.

My Mother moved into Lakeview in March 2024, and I cannot speak too highly of the level of care and attention she has received. It was a big step for Mum but all the staff and management have helped her to settle in and made her feel at home she says how safe and looked after she feels, which is very important to her and to the family. Mum had her 100th Birthday shortly before she moved, and Lakeview gave her a lovely party at the beginning of May to celebrate - so kind and much appreciated by the family.

Mum became a resident in 2023 after extensive research into various local homes. We were and continue to be impressed with the professionalism of the staff, the homely nature and excellent facilities of Lakeview. It gives us great peace of mind knowing that Mum is being looked after as we would want her to be.

Difficult to part the care. Good to have the check-in and out recorded. My friend was sitting comfortably and well-dressed, as always. The residents had been making biscuits which we shared with a hot drink. The staff were having a meeting but there were two in the sitting room to chat to and ask various questions about Christmas plans etc. As always a friendly welcome from the reception staff.

We were very happy with how Mum was welcomed into Hallmark Lakeview. She made rapid recovery from her spell in hospital with the encouragement of the staff and we knew she was in safe hands. Christmas was extra special and it was clear how much effort the staff put in to make the occasions enjoyable. Thanks to all!

Mum needs a lot of care and support following a recent stroke. The staff ensure that she receives this, and although it had taken time for her to settle in, she appears quite happy here. The home is bright, clean and welcoming. Mum's physical appearance now is much improved and so different from the way she looked on discharge from the hospital. My only reservation is about the laundry service - clothes are returned unironed and badly creased, with unidentified marks, and are not stored away properly.

Reception staff are great, always friendly, welcoming and helpful. This in turn leads to a good atmosphere throughout Lakeview. My mother is well cared for and is generally happy and seeming much brighter now.
