Moving my grandma into Lakeview Care Home couldn't have been better. The staff are all wonderful and very friendly. It feels as though they care about the whole family too, not just residents, and keep you updated on everything. The facilities are amazing, and having a hairdresser on-site is very helpful
and nice. Every day, they have activities and events in line with the seasons, which I think helps residents know what's going on. The visit from the nursery children weekly, my grandma loves and it is a brilliant idea.

I'd like to thank the staff (every person I have interacted with) for the incredible care they are giving my mother, who has dementia. They are all gentle, caring, professional, and also patient. The staff are always smiling and encouraging. We feel that our mother is in a family home, not just a care
home. She is wrapped in caring arms. I just wish this standard of care could be extended to all people who suffer from dementia in the whole country.

Mum is well looked after and supported. When she's upset, they calm her down, and today she was the calmest I've seen her in ages. The people that work here are just so lovely.

My husband and I came to visit Lakeview in order to move my mother in law. As soon as we entered reception, we felt at home. The receptionist was so helpful, and the management went above and beyond to make her move stress-free for her and us. The staff are wonderful, and her care is worry-free for
us. When we visit, we feel like one of the family. There are so many activities that we join in too. My mother in law loves it here, and we know she is in safe, happy and has a laugh with the staff. Thank you so much.

Explained to the reception desk that the gutter was badly leaking, noisy at night during sleep, with 1 litre a minute pouring down. Gave room number and notified the maintenance, fixed within a few days - happy.

In my opinion, Lakeview Care Home provides exemplary standards of care, from the management and all staff, including receptionists, they are very approachable, helpful, and ensure residents are given respect, compassion, dignity and understanding of their individual needs. As an initial comment, Lakeview and its staff are always welcoming for residents and visitors.
A specific comment relates to the care of my mother-in-law following a recent fall. She was kindly cared for with dignity, with her comfort and wellbeing at the forefront. She is now on the mend, and we were
fully kept informed.
