All the team have been so welcoming, patient and kind with her and the family. They have gone to great lengths to find out about her past and present interests, enabling her to keep to her routine and provide a stimulating and rewarding environment.
Lakeview seems a very happy home for all the residents that I have met over the weeks, I really can't fault it!
Thank you so much for taking the time to share such lovely words about the home and team. We are so pleased to have been able to support your grandmother's move from her previous home - I'm over the moon to hear that we played our part in making this as smooth as possible. We're thrilled that she is now part of the Lakeview family.
My mother is very content at Lakeview, she feels safe and secure and enjoys the environment of the home and all the friendly staff. She enjoys participating in a range of activities, particularly exercise classes and quizzes. She is very well cared for. Obviously, all this comes at a price but we still feel it is very good value for money and for the knowledge that she is being well looked after.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share such positive feedback about the home and team here at Lakeview. We love having your mother with us. Thank you for choosing us and continuing to trust us with her care.
Moving my mother up to the dementia floor has made a huge difference. The staff continue to be really friendly and supportive to her and she absolutely loves the daily activities which are now much more suited to her capabilities. Thank you, Lakeview.
Since he moved in, Dad has settled in so well which is such a relief to our whole family. The care team go out of their way to treat Dad as an individual and get to know him well and his needs.
I always enjoy coming to see my mother at Lakeview. It has a lovely bright and happy atmosphere. The staff are kind and helpful. I feel lucky to have my mother in such a good home.
I have nothing but praise for Lakeview care home. Everything about the home has been skillfully planned and carefully thought out. Example: Every floor on each level has a different colour scheme so residents do not get confused and know when they have arrived back on their floor. The atmosphere is always cheerful with smiling/caring staff on hand. The residents have a variety of entertainers visiting which is always well received. Pets are also welcome. I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a care home and have done so on many occasions.
Dear Lynda - It is our entire pleasure to look after your mum for so long and we are extremely proud and privileged that you chose us when you needed care for another family member. Thank you for your kind words and we are pleased to learn that you would not hesitate to recommend us to others who are looking for a care home. Kind regards Inder Hanzra, General Manager
We were seeking respite care following mums release from the hospital after a tough two weeks. From the first contact with LakeView, the team swung into immediate action to facilitate the right timescale. It was a stressful period with much uncertainty, however, we were able to rely totally on your staff. Once in situ, we were able to relax and let them take over mum's rehabilitation. Nothing was too much trouble we visited most days and were treated as part of the Lakeview family. The activities were superb and the individual care made integration easy. The home was just that - a home! The entire team are a credit to your organisation - thank you all.
Thank you for your very kind words following your mum's recent stay with us following her time in hospital. Mum came in for respite care after a difficult hospital stay. She came there for four weeks but stayed for eight weeks. The care and kindness she and our family have been met with are second to none. Mum is so well now both mentally and physically. Good food, good care and friendly kind staff everywhere means she is looking great. I would recommend Lakeview to anyone.

We are pleased you chose Lakeview Care Home for your father too, it is our pleasure to look after him here. Kind regards,
Care homes generally get a bad press. When my mother needed care I was fortunate enough to find Lakeview. My mother spent eight months there before she passed away. It is a stunning example of what is possible. Immaculately clean, well-maintained, managed with care and professionalism. Attractive rooms, high-quality food, activities to suit everyone. The staff are universally excellent, caring, efficient, friendly and kind. All is done to the highest standard. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Great staff, great welcome and care. Would definitely recommend it to others.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review following your mum's recent respite stays at Lakeview. It was the pleasure of our entire team here at Lakeview to look after your mum here and get to know her and to support her family during this time too. Kind regards.
Our mother moved into Lakeview in January this year. She has Alzheimer’s disease and was very resistant to the idea of such a move. She has been welcomed with open arms and has settled quickly. The staff are extremely good-natured and have been professional, reassuring, thoughtful and empathetic at all times. We have witnessed her having a good giggle with them on a number of occasions! Her room is spacious and comfortable; she is surrounded by familiar objects from her own home and family photographs. She enjoys mealtimes and has commented frequently on the excellent food. She has had her hair and nails done several times already! The café on the ground floor provides a perfect environment for visits. Heartfelt thanks to the entire team!
It is our pleasure to have been able to welcome your mother to Lakeview and we are delighted that she is settling into her new home very well, we are enjoying getting to know all about her and being able to support her family too. Thank you for your kind comments about our team, food, atmosphere and facilities at Lakeview it is appreciated. Kind regards.
In Mum's last few weeks, they all went over and above to ensure that she was comfortable and loved.
Thank you for your kind review and it was our pleasure to look after your mum. We have many fond memories of time spent with her, in particular her lovely lemon tree. We all miss her here at Lakeview, especially her tremendous sense of fun. Please do keep in touch. Kind regards Inder.
At a difficult time, we could not have made a better choice of home. Staff genuinely care and take time to get to know you and have been very supportive. It is a lovely, clean, bright home, and always has a nice feel about it. The choice of food is excellent. Management always available to speak with you about any concerns. There is a definite open-door policy, which is so reassuring. Highly recommended.
Dear Sue, thank you for your review of Lakeview, and I am pleased that you feel the team are supportive and that you are pleased with the food, cleanliness and atmosphere and ambience at Lakeview Care Home. It is our pleasure to look after your relative here, and it goes without saying, that my door is always open if you do ever need to talk to me. Kind regards.
Lakeview care home was an excellent choice for my mum. Caring staff and management, well kept, welcoming, modern care home - excellent home for my mum who suffers from dementia.
Dear Stephen, thank you for your review, and we are pleased to read that you are pleased with the choice of Lakeview Care Home for your Mum. It is our pleasure to look after her here and to be able to support her on her dementia journey. Kind regards.
Having visited quite a few care homes in the area, I was certain that Lakeview was the most suitable for my mother, but I was still nervous about how well she would settle in, having been a very independent and active person before her dementia. However, my family and I were delighted with the loving care all the staff immediately showed her and to our great relief she quickly accepted Lakeview as her new home. It is a much better environment for her mental and physical health than being at home with a single carer; there is always company and she has made friends with many of the other residents. There are daily activities to keep her engaged and stimulated and the care exhibited by every member of staff is heartwarming. It truly is a calling for these clearly carefully selected team members, never merely a job. I am always totally confident that my mother is being looked after with the greatest care and that is peace of mind beyond measure. Thank you Lakeview!

I feel my dad is happy and very settled here. It's been a tough 18 months but his care has remained at a very high standard. The staff really care for the residents and know them well. I can't imagine him being anywhere else and I feel very reassured by the staff at all times.

Meet the Team (2)

With over 15 years of experience in the care sector, I’m proud to lead the wonderful team here at Lakeview Care Home. I was drawn to Hallmark because it’s a respected name in the industry — known for innovation, compassion, and a genuine commitment to excellence. Being part of Lakeview allows me to contribute to those same high standards and create a truly special place for residents to call home.
In my day-to-day role, I oversee the smooth running of the home, ensuring we provide safe, person-centred care while supporting my team to grow in confidence and pride. The most rewarding part of my role is seeing residents happy, comfortable, and thriving, and knowing that their families feel reassured and supported.
What makes Hallmark — and Lakeview — stand out is the combination of luxury, warmth, and heartfelt care. It’s a home built on respect, dignity, and teamwork.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, exploring the outdoors, heading to the seaside, and enjoying movie nights or a friendly game of cricket with my children.

Having worked in the care industry since 2010, I have gained a lot of experience in supporting families through every step of their care journey.
It’s my job to be your main point of contact and ensure you have a positive experience from the moment you enquire with us. It’s a pleasure to be part of such a warm and vibrant community, and I’m truly looking forward to getting to know you and your loved ones.
