I’m the General Manager at Lakeview Care Home and have over 13 years’ experience in the care industry. My passion for care and drive to enhance the well-being of residents, meant a huge change of career from being a Pharmacist. Every day, I look forward to meeting residents and making a difference to their lives. Our passion at Lakeview is to deliver relationship-centred care that is second to none. I joined Lakeview in January 2022 and have worked in adult health and social care for 14 years. I started my career as a carer and progressed to the role of Deputy Manager and this included mentoring team members and becoming a trainer.
As a Deputy Manager, I enjoy interacting with the residents as well as their family and friends and getting to know them all individually. I strongly believe in understanding the needs of each resident understanding resident to ensure we are offering relationship-centred care.
