My mother has been at Lakeview Care Home for over six years. It has been a home from home for her where every resident is treated as part of the family. Each individual is valued and cared for and my mother has thrived in this nurturing environment. Despite being in a wheelchair with dementia, her needs
were very well looked after. The care provided was exceptional even down to a carer applying makeup which my mother enjoyed (even at 95). Activities through the years have been fun and varied. My mother particularly enjoyed the garden facilities and the ballroom dancing. I have no hesitation in recommending Lakeview Care Home. The management team is professional and the manager is very experienced and consistently steady. It is a testament to the manager’s leadership skills that they coped and even thrived during the extreme challenges the pandemic caused.
Unfortunately, my mother had to leave Lakeview recently, a sad day indeed, as she now needs a nursing home.

The care home is well run and to a very high standard of care.
The staff are helpful and the home is run for residents in a very caring and respectful way. The managers are very helpful and I would certainly recommend the home.

I feel my dad is happy and very settled here. It's been a tough 18 months but his care has remained at a very high standard. The staff really care for the residents and know them well. I can't imagine him being anywhere else and I feel very reassured by the staff at all times.

In the time that my mum was at Lakeview, we were constantly satisfied with all aspects of her care both physically and mentally. The staff were very attentive to both Mum and us, her family. Mum ended her days at Lakeview surrounded by kind and compassionate people both in the care team and the management.

Having spent two years as a resident at Lakeview, sadly my elderly mother recently passed away. In recent months she was bedridden and due to dementia and frailty was unable to make full use of the excellent facilities and activities offered. I will continue to remember the care and compassion she received

We have recently moved my mother from another care home and have been so impressed by the manager, staff and welcome she has had. All staff have an excellent understanding of dementia, which has had a hugely positive impact on Mum's happiness and wellbeing. She feels secure, enjoys the activities and

I am so glad that Mum has been at Lakeview during the COVID period. The staff have been very kind, even arranging in-room one-to-one activities and reading to Mum when she was poorly. I don't think she could have been better looked after anywhere.

Lakeview is a wonderful home with very caring staff. You feel part of a family. My mother is very well looked after in a stimulating environment with lots of varied activities.

Since her arrival, Lakeview has worked hard to help my mother settle in and start to integrate with the activities and residents in the home. They have worked with the local GP to address a number of health issues and have always kept me informed.

Lakeview is a warm and welcoming care home. The rooms are clean and homely.
The staff are second to none. Friendly, caring and care for their residents extremely well.
Activities are always happening; painting, quizzes, dancing, bingo and outings. I would highly recommend Lakeview for care.

Amazing care home who have looked after the residents with care and compassion throughout the Covid pandemic, ensuring their safety and well being at all times. The cheerful disposition of staff has remained throughout the difficult times we find ourselves in. The staff have gone above and beyond in
keeping the residents engaged in activities and finding ways to keep them in touch with their relatives when they have not been able to visit due to Covid precautions.
My father has been at Lakeview for a year and the peace of mind I have knowing he is well cared for is priceless.

As a Deputy Manager, I enjoy interacting with the residents as well as their family and friends and getting to know them all individually. I strongly believe in understanding the needs of each resident understanding resident to ensure we are offering relationship-centred care.
