Hallmark Lakeview

I feel my dad is happy and very settled here. It's been a tough 18 months but his care has remained at a very high standard. The staff really care for the residents and know them well. I can't imagine him being anywhere else and I feel very reassured by the staff at all times.

In the time that my mum was at Lakeview, we were constantly satisfied with all aspects of her care both physically and mentally. The staff were very attentive to both Mum and us, her family. Mum ended her days at Lakeview surrounded by kind and compassionate people both in the care team and the management.

I have been most satisfied with the care and attention given whilst here. There have been one or two hiccups but these were sorted out satisfactorily.

Having spent two years as a resident at Lakeview, sadly my elderly mother recently passed away. In recent months she was bedridden and due to dementia and frailty was unable to make full use of the excellent facilities and activities offered. I will continue to remember the care and compassion she received and send my sincerest thanks to all the staff at Lakeview.

We have recently moved my mother from another care home and have been so impressed by the manager, staff and welcome she has had. All staff have an excellent understanding of dementia, which has had a hugely positive impact on Mum's happiness and wellbeing. She feels secure, enjoys the activities and wonders in the beautiful gardens. It has been a huge relief to find Lakeview and see Mum content and treated with dignity.

Very caring team. I enjoyed my short term stay at Lakeview care home. Will come back to enjoy coffee with the residents and team.

I am so glad that Mum has been at Lakeview during the COVID period. The staff have been very kind, even arranging in-room one-to-one activities and reading to Mum when she was poorly. I don't think she could have been better looked after anywhere.

A welcome beginning of return to life this month, albeit too late due to government policy, for my father's sense of wellbeing.

Mum has been a resident of Lakeview for almost four years now. Lakeview in Lightwater is an excellent modern, light, attractive care home with wonderful facilities in the garden and indoors. Professionally managed with first-class care for the individual residents.

Lakeview is a marvellous care home. Most importantly the staff really care about all the residents and make the environment a very pleasant one to live in and to come to as a visitor.

Since her arrival, Lakeview has worked hard to help my mother settle in and start to integrate with the activities and residents in the home. They have worked with the local GP to address a number of health issues and have always kept me informed.

Activities are always happening; painting, quizzes, dancing, bingo and outings. I would highly recommend Lakeview for care.

The biggest compliment I can give Lakeview is that Dad always says 'If I can't be at home, this is the next best place'.

The visitor suite is very excellent. The staff are wonderful. It's a very friendly place and the home is welcoming.

Visited my mother in the outdoor suite. Arrangements smooth and safety measures reassuring. The carer was very pleasant and helped mum look at photos with us. Good visit nice catch-up.

My father has been at Lakeview for a year and the peace of mind I have knowing he is well cared for is priceless.
