This was Mum's 2nd respite stay.

The staff are always friendly and helpful.

They are truly mum's extended family and we are all happy mum is here.

Whilst it was a difficult decision putting mum into a care home, we are delighted with choosing Lakeview. All the staff are friendly, caring and supportive. All the facilities are first class and we have peace of mind that mum is safe, secure and well cared for. Thank you.

My aunt has been living here since 2017 and the staff, from cleaners to the managers, were very good at settling her in. They continue to give my aunt excellent care tailored towards her needs, despite the challenges that my aunt's dementia poses. Lakeview is focused on each patient individually and that, I think, is the key for the excellent care that they provide.

I found the environment extremely pleasant. The staff were very helpful, attentive and pleasant. It was my first visit to an old friend, and it was the most pleasant experience.

I know 4 different people in care homes and Lake View is just different. The staff are all lovely and caring and there is a very homely atmosphere. My friend settled in so nicely, she loves all the activities and being spoilt with her nails done and hair. This is the very best home and I would not hesitate to recommend it!

We have recently moved my mum into Lakeview. She lives with dementia but was not living to her full potential at home. We looked at lots of homes and Lakeview stood out from the crowd. Lakeview is so special and offers truly personal and 'loving' care. My mum is now enjoying life and my dad can enjoy activities with her. I also feel very supported and welcome at Lakeview.

I can't say enough nice things about the place it's like a five-star holiday, all-inclusive.

It's difficult to praise Lakeview highly enough. My father had been at a previous care home which fell below expectations. I actually cried with relief after visiting Lakeview the first time, having given up on finding the right place. The staff, facilities and atmosphere exude such a welcome and warmth - always happy, caring and positive - and so efficient.

My Grandad was in Lakeview for a period of respite and it has been the happiest I have seen him in a long time. He has been cared for in a friendly, compassionate and professional manner. I have 100% confidence in all the members of staff. The facilities are fabulous, the food varied and delicious and an excellent range of stimulating activities. I have only very positive comments to make. If only all care homes could be like this!

A very good welcome when visiting and all areas extremely well decorated and maintained. Staff friendly and cheerful and everyone seemed compassionate and professional. Rooms good sizes with modern walk-in showers, bright and airy, again spotlessly clean. Nice calm atmosphere.

The care home has been marvellous with my husband who was a dementia resident for seven months. Sadly his time came all too quickly. The carers handled palliative care with the utmost sympathy, explaining the steps they have to take, so it eased our journey when the time came. The staff went above and beyond to look after my husband, myself and our family.

We cannot find anything to complain about! Rooms are beautiful and the staff are wonderful.

The lifestyle girl keeps everyone happy and engaged in various activities. They work very hard, especially for the Queen's tea party.

The whole team at Lakeview have been fantastic with helping us, as a family, go through the difficult time of registering our father, who is suffering from dementia, as a resident. Their support, help and advice as we reached this decision was amazing.

Lakeview itself is in a lovely setting and we always receive a warm, friendly greeting on arrival. Everyone there has really taken the time to get to know us as a family and individually and we really are made to feel like part of the community.

The manager and the entire team have taken so much time and care with my father - it’s so comforting to know that when we leave him he really is well looked after. There is always something going on - an activity or outing - which we are welcome to join in on so that we can still do things as a family.

The whole process of moving our father in has been made so much easier by everyone’s help at Lakeview and we cannot thank the team enough.

My mother has been a resident at Lakeview for a little over 3 years; placing a relative into care is an extremely difficult decision but after visiting the home and meeting the staff my sister and I felt this was the best choice.

From the first day, we moved her in she was made to feel at home, as were we, by everyone we met and this has continued throughout her stay.

Whilst there have been some minor issues these have always been addressed quickly and professionally and I would have no concerns in recommending this home.
