My wife began noticing her memory loss in 2018 and said "don't ever put me into a home". In March 2025 she suffered a vicious chest infection needing 14 days of antibiotics. The infection and the tablets took their toll. Help was needed 7 days a week and her dementia went into steep decline
with Christmas 2025 being exceptionally difficult for her. After visiting 8 local care homes Willingdon Park Manor became the obvious choice when a choice was needed. It was the most appaling descision that I have ever had to make- but one that I have never regretted. The staff are wonderful, thoughtful, caring and nothing ever seems too much trouble. Just over a week ago she needed to go to A&E to be checked over, we were there for over 6 hrs. The senior day care assistant had said that when she was ready to go back she would arrange a staff member to come and help us. The night team were then on duty. After finishing her 12 hr shift the senior care assistant came to help.
SIMPLY EXCEPTIONAL CARE!

Mums care was excellent, staff were kind and helpful. It was initially challenging to know who to ask for what, e.g medical v admin staff as so many staff around!
The entertainment was varied to suit different preferences, and the food served was interesting varied and generally healthy.
I loved
the riverside cafe and all its homemade cakes and biscuits.

My Mum was a resident at Ty Enfys for just over two years, mostly on the residential floor and for a short while on the nursing floor until she recently passed away peacefully. All the staff are amazing and always ready to help with anything, I never worried about whether Mum was safe or well cared
for, and everyone was very welcoming to all the family as well as Mum. The facilities are great, always very clean and well maintained, and there is a calming atmosphere as soon as you get through the door.
Reply from Bethan Hurley, Customer Relationship Manager at Hallmark Ty EnfysThank you for your heartwarming review. It was wonderful to have Mum living with us for her two years and welcoming you all to Ty Enfys. We will miss you all.

Midford Manor is in a class of its own! My mum stayed here for 4 weeks for respite care and the care, support and attention she received was absolutely brilliant. The best part about Hallmark Care Homes is the way that the staff make everyone feel part of the family: residents, relatives and guests
are all treated with warmth and kindness.
Reply from Lydia Zalabany, Customer Relationship Manager at Hallmark Midford ManorThank you so much for your lovely words, I will be sure to pass these on to the team who will be delighted to hear them. My mum moved into Ty Enfys a few months ago and the staff have been wonderful in helping her to settle in. It is a lovely home, warm and inviting, very clean and well maintained. The staff are all very friendly, professional and caring. The care provided is excellent, everyone gives of their very best.
They treat mum with respect and kindness and always give a warm welcome to family when we come to visit. Mum loves her chats with the staff whether in her room or over a cup of tea in the lounge area of reception. It is so reassuring to know she is in a safe place and well looked after.

Robert, who has vascular dementia and Altheimers, has settled in better than we could have hoped. He is much happier than he latterly was in his own home. He responds well to the quiet, peaceful, ordered surroundings. He likes all the staff, the food and the entertainments and indeed the other residents
on his floor - CEDAR. He likes the small dining rooms - that are reminisent of a home kitchen in many ways and the dining room is calm and not overwhelming with too much noise or activity. So far we feel very fortunate that we found Kew House.

I am writing this review for anyone considering Anya Court as their choice of residential care for their loved one.
Mum joined The Ballard Community in 2023 and we cannot recommend it any higher. From day 1, mum was given superb care to support her increasing dementia. Being a resident at Anya, is
much more than just living there, the entire team showed mum the upmost respect, love, support and encouragement each and every day. This enabled her to join in with the huge selection of engaging and varied activities whenever she was able, and to become part of the Anya family.
All the different staff members across all departments from kitchen, housekeeping, entertainment, front of house, management etc all had a role to play in creating an inclusive, safe and supportive environment, with each excelling in their role. This support was also extended to family members or friends visiting their loved one, making us personally feel involved, always welcome and treated as friends.
Reply from Kieran Langan, General Manager at Hallmark Anya CourtThank you so much for taking the time to share such a thoughtful review. It truly means a great deal to our entire team to hear about yours and mums positive experience.
Providing compassionate, respectful and person-centred care for all residents is at the heart of what we do, and it is wonderful to know that the team helped your mum feel part of the Anya Court family and it was always great to see her encouraged into taking part in activities.
Your kind words about all of our departments - from care, activities and housekeeping to kitchen, reception and management - will be shared with the whole team. Everyone works incredibly hard to create a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment not only for our residents, but also for the families and friends who visit them.
Thank you again for your recommendation and for allowing us the privilege of caring for your mum. Your support and feedback mean so much to us.

My wife's father was admitted back in September to Greenhill, from assessment to admission all concerned were caring kind & respectful, extremely helpful & efficient. The staff took time & patience in looking for ways to accommodate his demanding needs on first admission, they kindly & gently found ways
to make him feel at home .His dislikes were analysed ,& other methods used to relieve his anxiety in a compassionate & feeling way. That structure helped him to settle in a way we did not think possible at the outset. He enjoyed 6 months of quality care before becoming ill & the staff member who was looking after him stayed with him in hospital until we arrived, looked after his every need & gave him very special & tender care.
I would recommend Greenhill Manor & their caring & efficient staff to any & all that asked.
Thank you so much to all.

What a scary, sad time it was when we reached the decision that my mom could no longer care for my step dad with support at home. However, once we'd decided on Willingdon Park Manor(WPM), we were supported all the way and I'm so glad my step dad's last 8 months of life were spent here. WPM is not just
a beautiful, well kept home, it is full of staff who exude warmth and genuine kindness. We couldn't have asked for kinder, more respectful care to have been provided for my step dad. Every staff member got to know him from the reception staff, to cleaning staff, entertainment support staff, managers and of course his care team on his floor. By the time my step dad passed, we felt like staff were extended family who shared our sadness at our loss. Thank you for loving my step dad with us and caring for him with such kindness and friendship. Thank you for keeping him company when he wondered at night and for looking after us when we visited including for warm empathic hugs after he passed.
Reply from Emma Jennings, Customer Relationship Manager at Hallmark Willingdon Park ManorThank you for taking the time to review our beautiful home. Firstly, we would like to extend our sincere condolences to you and your family. It was an absolute honour and pleasure to care for your step dad. He was a wonderful, gentle soul who touched the lives of many of our team, his passing has left a void in our home. Your comments are testimony to the teams care and dedication, we will be sure to pass them on. Thank you once again, Emma

As shown below, I feel Alexandra Grange is an excellent home for my mother. The care she gets has contributed to her longevity of life. I always enjoy visiting. The staff are cheerful and caring (towards me as well!). We made the right decision a year ago. Mum has settled and is content. She talks about
her friendships with other residents and some of the activities she enjoys. I know she is safe and comfortable - a huge relief. I no longer feel responsible for her care. Nor do I worry about her. Great.

The staff are second to none - you cannot fault their wonderful support and care. However, Hallmark does not reflect the fees in the services provided. Initially, my parents received expensive gifts on special occasions; now, it's a cheaper gift. The food is often good, but not always. The activities
are good, but their budget has been cut. I will always recommend the amazing staff, but there has been a high staff turnover since it opened because Hallmark does not support individuals as they should. Care is a pressured industry, so more support to employees should be given by Hallmark - the individuals feel expendable, leaving residents more confused by constant staff changes.
Reply from Aghileh Hatami, General Manager at Hallmark Midford ManorWe greatly appreciate the time you have taken to share your feedback with us. Compassionate, relationship-centred care sit at the heart of everything we do, and it is reassuring to know this was reflected in your experience. At Midford Manor, delivering an exceptional care to our residents is always our top priority, and I am sorry to hear that you feel we have not fully met the standards we strive for. As discussed during our phone conversation, we have shared your comments regarding the food with our Hospitality Services Manager, and we will continue to monitor feedback closely to ensure we are meeting residents' preferences and expectations. There have been changes in our team, and we have taken this opportunity to strengthen and build a highly competent team to deliver a high-quality care to our residents. Please be assured that our activities budgeting remains unchanged. I am looking forward to our meeting to plan an engaging programme tailored to your mum's interests.

The move from a domestic one-to-one care regime into a Care Home environment must be expected to produce certain challenges.
It is very early days for my wife at Kew House Wimbledon, but so far I have been impressed by the friendliness and courtesy of all staff with whom I have made contact and
the levels of care that I have observed to date. The facilities are excellent and the CQC Excellence rating very reassuring.
I am confident that, over time, my wife will adapt well to life at KH. Her appetite remains strong and sleep patterns seem good.
