The minute you walk into Anya Court, it wows you with the friendlyness of the staff as soon as you enter is wonderful. The facilities, coffee machine, cold drinks/snacks are always available - the building is always clean, and the rooms are nicely decorated. The care provided is amazing and very personal.
Lunchtime meals look fabulous, and the staff are always available to help when called for. Rooms are kept clean/tidy and very well maintained.

The day my daughter and I visited Shire Hall to discuss my wife moving to the home - we were greeted by the reception with warm welcome (coffee and barabrith). I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. I have worked in the care profession most of my working life, and this facility is by far the best I have come across. The staff can never do enough for you. There is so much always going on. There is the cinema, 2 bars, hairdressers, nail staff, massage and therapy,
coffee shop, outings, and a beautiful garden. It is literally like a hotel, and everyone is happy.

My father begrudgingly moved in mid January, he doesn't call it a home- it's the "hotel" and a 5 * at that.
He is so much happier, he can socialise or not as he chooses, 3 course dining with wine, laundry done within 24 hours, his medications looked after, no more worrying about upkeep of his
house or dealing with bills etc.
He's happy and safe, couldn't asked for anything more

Since moving to Anisha Grange, I have felt much safer and cared for, and all my physical and mental needs have been cared for. There's always somebody here I can talk to. The food is excellent, good variety and great chefs. The carers have been very understanding with all my support.

All the staff seem to have such personal knowledge of the residents and take time to talk to them. The cage at the entrance gives a lovely, vibrant atmosphere, and it's lovely
to connect with others in there. My mum is very well cared for and always seems happy.

My husband and I came to visit Lakeview in order to move my mother in law. As soon as we entered reception, we felt at home. The receptionist was so helpful, and the management went above and beyond to make her move stress-free for her and us. The staff are wonderful, and her care is worry-free for
us. When we visit, we feel like one of the family. There are so many activities that we join in too. My mother in law loves it here, and we know she is in safe, happy and has a laugh with the staff. Thank you so much.

Explained to the reception desk that the gutter was badly leaking, noisy at night during sleep, with 1 litre a minute pouring down. Gave room number and notified the maintenance, fixed within a few days - happy.

In my opinion, Lakeview Care Home provides exemplary standards of care, from the management and all staff, including receptionists, they are very approachable, helpful, and ensure residents are given respect, compassion, dignity and understanding of their individual needs. My Mum lived in Anya Court for 18 months. It was the best decision to move her in. I have never once doubted it was the right thing to do and know she received the best care possible.


Sadly Mum passed away this week and her passing was difficult at the end for me and my sister as we watched her slip

away. Anya Court were completely amazing supporting Mum and our family. She was treated with empathy, sympathy, professionalism, dignity and friendship. I honestly could ask for nothing more. I hope your loved ones get the same.

Dad enjoyed being a part of this warm & friendly community. He bonded with many of the staff and the care they showed was exemplary. His personal care needs were met; he ate well and he was supported to try new things - giving him a sense of purpose and fulfillment. A great deal of thought goes into
the activities and outings provided and Dad had a lot of fun during his time at Anya Court.
We thank the team for giving Dad the best years of his later life and only wish he'd moved there sooner.

My mother came to Shire Hall last week. It was quite an anxious time for me to say the least, but I need not have worried because after visiting my mother on a few occasions I could clearly see how welcoming and caring all the staff are. Nothing is too much trouble and my mother is treated with such
respect. She is settling in well and taking part in some of the numerous activities on offer. It feels like a family home and I don't think I could ask for any more than that.

My overall experience in Midford Manor (respite care for a few weeks) was superb. The atmosphere was warm and inclusive, especially for people expecting to be in the latter stages of their lives. The food, activities and facilities were designed to be accessible to a full range of tastes and abilities.
The staff seemed genuinly caring, helpful and nice people. I wish I could describe everything as 'excellent', but there were several small details that should be corrected. The staff were aware of these - I didn't regard them as fault - but no changes were made.
Would I return to Midford Manor? Yes, certainly.
