Mum continues to flourish at Willingdon Park, enjoying the daily activities & delicious meals. Every member of staff has welcomed myself & my family when we visit.

From our experience over the past 10 months I would highly recommend this facility to anyone seeking care for their loved ones,

My mother-in-law has been treated with such lovely care and consideration for all her needs, which are increasing but they handle every situation with respect and kindness. We feel totally confident that she has the best care which gives us total peace of mind. Her twilight years are neither lonely or scary as she has continuous care.

My mother has dementia and WPM put on so many activities to keep the residents involved.

A wonderful inviting setting throughout, rooms that feels like a little slice of home, excellent cleanliness and superb food, but above all the credit sits with every member of staff who make Willingdon Park a truly special place. I wholeheartedly recommend this home and the excellent team who make it so.

My mother had a two week respite stay at this wonderful home. She was cared for so well, it really was an excellent level of care. All the staff are so friendly, kind and welcoming and the home itself is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are of such a high standard, and the cafe and all other spaces are equally stunning. The gardens are lovely and so well maintained, and it was great to be able to go for walks outside, and just sit and enjoy the gardens. There is a really good variety of clubs and activities and the staff are very supportive and encouraging. It was an excellent experience for my mother and so reassuring for me to know that she was safe. I cannot recommend Willingdon Park Manor highly enough. Thank you!

My husband moved to Willingdon Park Manor in August at very short notice. All the staff are really friendly and they genuinely care about the residents and their families. It is a very safe and caring environment for someone that has dementia. It is very spacious with many different areas for the various activities. The garden is very well looked after and residents are encouraged to sit and relax in the garden. It really is like a 5 star hotel.

Mum particularly looked forward to her weekly visits to the hair and nail salon, which was as much about a good old natter and laugh as it was about having her hair done!

All the staff at the care home provided a wonderful level of care and you could tell they genuinely cared for the patients and our families. Everyone from housekeeping and laundry to nurses , HCA's and reception or catering staff demonstrated the high level of care needed

Our experiences have been nothing but positive in this past year and I wouldnt believe a place as wonderful as this could exist if I had not been part of it in the past year.

They didn't just show enormous compassion and respect for Dad; they cared for us as a family too, especially at the end of Dad's life. We will always be thankful to everyone at WPM

SIMPLY EXCEPTIONAL CARE!

What a scary, sad time it was when we reached the decision that my mom could no longer care for my step dad with support at home.However, once we'd decided on Willingdon Park Manor(WPM), we were supported all the way and I'm so glad my step dad's last 8 months of life were spent here. WPM is not just a beautiful, well kept home, it is full of staff who exude warmth and genuine kindness. We couldn't have asked for kinder, more respectful care to have been provided for my step dad. Every staff member got to know him from the reception staff, to cleaning staff, entertainment support staff, managers and of course his care team on his floor. By the time my step dad passed, we felt like staff were extended family who shared our sadness at our loss. Thank you for loving my step dad with us and caring for him with such kindness and friendship. Thank you for keeping him company when he wondered at night and for looking after us when we visited including for warm empathic hugs after he passed.

My aunt was looked after by the team at Willingdon Park Manor after she came out of hospital, her previous care home could not take her back as she was on oxygen and needed more nursing care. The team were fantastic, so kind, caring and understanding. They kept her comfortable in her last days, and we are so grateful for their help.

A very spacious and well kept establishment. Cheerful coffee shop, and we were made very welcome. Staff exceptional and the home was kept beautifully clean.

My father needed more care than we could provide at his home. He had deteriorated very quickly and the home was able to take him within 2 days which was incredibly helpful. We had looked at a few of the best homes in Eastbourne but this one stood out as bright and airy and really like a good hotel. The communal areas are very modern and there is a lively coffee area on the ground floor which is well used by the residents and does not feel like a home at all, more like a nice coffee shop so it really is somewhere the residents like to spend time and you can see that. My father reported that the food was very good and he was difficult to please so this is praise indeed. His room was very nice and as I have said, like a good hotel room. Decorated with modern colours and everything he needed. All the staff were incredible from the admin side to the nurses and carers. He could not have been in a better place. If I need to go into a nursing home at any point I hope it is as nice as this one

The initial application went very smoothly and Emma was particularly helpful, however, it took a couple of weeks to cross check information and it took several weeks before the initial deposit was repaid (largely due to the Christmas period I expect).

Willingdon Park Manor provided respite care for my mother when her dementia was exacerbated by a UTI. The home was incredibly helpful in arranging this at very short notice. Although mum was reluctant to go into a home she was happy enough while there, and was very well looked after by the highly professional and caring staff. If/when the time comes that mum needs permanent care, I won't hesitate to turn to WPM again.
