My sister's move to Loveday Esher went much more smoothly than I had anticipated. The staff were all warm and welcoming and have gone out of their way to make her feel at home in her new surroundings - not an easy task for someone with dementia! They are also encouraging her to take part in activities
with other residents, which will help her to get to know them and to feel part of the community. I feel confident that my sister is in a safe place and will be well looked after.
The surroundings are beautiful: it feels like a luxury hotel with carers on site. The extensive grounds are a real bonus, and the various lounges are all very comfortable. When I have visited for lunch, the food was excellent and it felt as though we were in a restaurant rather than a care home.
If you are looking for a permanent residential home for a member of your family, I can thoroughly recommend Loveday Esher.

My Father was accepted to Loveday Esher in mid April 26, on his acceptance he had a few ongoing issues developed from another care home. My Dad was skeptical about going to Esher and especially with this being quite away from his home and friends. with a visit from the Home Manager (Lyn) first he was
able to express all his concerns, these were laid to rest and immediately upon arrival he was welcomed as if he had been a resident there for ages and since that time the care team, nurses and all staff members have been absolutely fantastic, to top it all, the grounds, home and facilities make his stay there the most rewarding and enjoyable.

After an unexpected, sudden fall and breaking her femur, our mother needed an extensive operation in hospital. Once the operation was complete and when she needed to be discharged, we organised for her to stay at Loveday Esher, for daily care and recovery. What a superb place !
Our mother immediately
felt assured and that she was in the best place possible, for her recovery.
Every single member of their staff were so kind, attentive, very caring and knowledgable. We genuinely couldn't fault anything about her fantastic stay there.
Since leaving and now back at home, she has become a day member at Loveday in view to visiting regularly, joining in with their extensive, social activities and to keep in touch with many friends she has made there.
I would highly recommend Loveday Esher to everyone.

Moving my grandma into Lakeview Care Home couldn't have been better. The staff are all wonderful and very friendly. It feels as though they care about the whole family too, not just residents, and keep you updated on everything. The facilities are amazing, and having a hairdresser on-site is very helpful
and nice. Every day, they have activities and events in line with the seasons, which I think helps residents know what's going on. The visit from the nursery children weekly, my grandma loves and it is a brilliant idea.

I'd like to thank the staff (every person I have interacted with) for the incredible care they are giving my mother, who has dementia. They are all gentle, caring, professional, and also patient. The staff are always smiling and encouraging. We feel that our mother is in a family home, not just a care
home. She is wrapped in caring arms. I just wish this standard of care could be extended to all people who suffer from dementia in the whole country.

Mum is well looked after and supported. When she's upset, they calm her down, and today she was the calmest I've seen her in ages. The people that work here are just so lovely.

My husband and I came to visit Lakeview in order to move my mother in law. As soon as we entered reception, we felt at home. The receptionist was so helpful, and the management went above and beyond to make her move stress-free for her and us. The staff are wonderful, and her care is worry-free for
us. When we visit, we feel like one of the family. There are so many activities that we join in too. My mother in law loves it here, and we know she is in safe, happy and has a laugh with the staff. Thank you so much.

Explained to the reception desk that the gutter was badly leaking, noisy at night during sleep, with 1 litre a minute pouring down. Gave room number and notified the maintenance, fixed within a few days - happy.

In my opinion, Lakeview Care Home provides exemplary standards of care, from the management and all staff, including receptionists, they are very approachable, helpful, and ensure residents are given respect, compassion, dignity and understanding of their individual needs. The home is well-maintained

Five weeks in, and my dad is a changed man. From the moment he moved into Loveday it was clear we had made the right call, he's happier, healthier, and looking forward to every day. Loveday doesn't just feel like a care home, it feels like a home. Beautiful rooms and interiors, exquisite grounds,
and an atmosphere that's always warm rather than institutional. Dad can't stop talking about the food, he is genuinely excited about the regular concerts and keep-fit sessions - he has got a life again. What sets Loveday apart is the quality of care. The nursing and care staff are exceptional; attentive, compassionate, and brilliant at reading what Dad needs, even on the harder days. Nothing is generic. Everything is tailored to him as an individual, I can't recommend Loveday enough. The regular email and phone updates mean I always know how he is doing. That piece of mind is genuinely priceless and visiting him is always a pleasure.

We used Loveday Kensington for our dad for care, and it has worked out great. This month we moved dad to Loveday Esher the staff were great and the move was very smooth his care needs were well understood. He is a very happy there enjoying the lovely grounds.
The place is great, top quality, well
designed with plenty of communual spaces, dining rooms, large outside terraces, bar area. The food and dinning service is more like a restaurant with attentive waiters.
Dad looks well as his care and medical needs are dealt with. Thanks to Janice and the staff for arranging the move at short notice and keeping the family up to date on our Dad.

I visited, whilst on holiday, a dear friend who was able to tell me so much about the home and the care she is receiving. Everything she told me exceeded all other homes I have visited. An excellent place to visit.
