My mother has been in The Elms for just over 2.5 years and has late-stage dementia. I have found the staff to be very helpful, very friendly and Mum is well cared for. There was an issue when Mum first moved in with regards to the washing of clothes, essentially everything goes in a tumble dryer and
therefore everything was coming out creased but this has now been resolved. Being a specialist dementia care home, I find it really good that they do not have a high turnover of staff. Obviously some people come and go but the majority of staff have been there all the time Mum has been at the home. I would definitely recommend the home to anyone whose loved one has dementia. I don't think the website does it justice as Mum is in the new bit at the back and the rooms are a very generous size.

Hi to every one at the care home, just wanted to say a big big thank you for your help assistance when my parents and I visited to see my Auntie. We could not of been happier, hope to visit again soon.
