Chamberlain Court is quite simply the best care home I have ever visited. You just want to know that your relative is being looked after as well as they possibly could be and, for me, this is never a worry. The care staff are regular and tend to stay long-term. I see the same people every week
when I visit and so therefore does my aunt. There are enough of them that I never worry that my aunt is being neglected. Any urgent need is dealt with straight away and with good humour. Even the management team know who my aunt is and how she's doing. It's honestly a pleasure to visit every week.

We could not fault our whole experience. Every member of staff has been cheerful, friendly, accommodating and helpful. We needed to find a place for the resident quickly over a public holiday period, but that made no difference to the speed with which the admissions process was handled - even with
a visit from the management team to the resident's hospital bed to assess suitability.
Once installed, the inevitable daily twists and turns in the nature and extent of care that the resident requires have all been accommodated easily and without fuss, and he has been helped to settle into what is a very big change for him as smoothly as could be expected.
We know that he is in great hands, are contacted, consulted and kept up to date with anything significant, while not having to deal with immaterial details. The resident's personal care, his personal appearance every day and the state of his room are immaculate.

My dad came from 24 hr day care. He was mostly confined to a wheelchair and spent most of his time in bed. After five months at Chamberlain Court, he walks everywhere with his walking frame. He is showered and shaved every day and the bedsores he came with have gone. He eats nearly all his meals in
the restaurant, and the team have worked hard to get him engaged in all the activities they put on. I would highly recommend Chamberlain Court.

We have been extremely pleased with the constant care and support our family have been given over the past 4 years. The staff are professional and treat our mother with dignity and respect. We are kept informed of her changing needs. They encourage her to take part in the many varying daily
activities and entertainment planned. Our family are made very welcome when we visit and the staff go out of their way to greet us.

We visited several care homes before deciding that Chamberlain Court was the most suitable for our mother, as living in her own home had become impossible. We are so glad we made this choice, as it is a very happy home, with excellent dementia care. All the staff have been very kind, caring and
welcoming. We were worried that Mum would not settle into care, but the staff made the transition far easier and calmer than we had imagined possible. Mum is happy with her room, & the dining bistro is very pleasant with a wide menu. Everywhere is kept very clean. At Christmas, the home was beautifully decorated, with great entertainment & lovely atmosphere. Mum loves the entertainment, especially the various singers who perform in the Royal Café. She enjoys going to the hair salon and having a visiting GP and Optician is very convenient. When the weather is warmer, she will love being outside in the garden or on the terrace. She has settled in so well, thanks to all the wonderful staff.

I love coming to visit my mother at Chamberlain Court, because it is an exceptional place in every respect.
Full credit to the Management for building a happy, supportive team. Everyone is consistently welcoming and cheerful, and each plays a part in helping residents to live as independently as
possible. The lifestyle programme offers a variety of visiting entertainers, and there are thoughtfully presented in-house activities to encourage movement, creativity, discussion and engagement.
The chef and his team create tasty, nutritional daily menus to a high standard. The residents' dining rooms are thoughtfully laid out, whilst the Royal Cafe on the ground floor is open to visitors and has a constant supply of delicious coffee, fresh pastries and cakes. The Royal Cafe is a lovely space for residents to spend time with each other or enjoy meals with visiting family and friends. In addition to all the above, CC is spotlessly clean, well-maintained and beautifully furnished.

The team at Chamberlain Court go above and beyond in absolutely everything they do, from our first approach to discuss our mother's care needs to the compassionate, warm and loving welcome extended to us all on the day Mum moved into her new home, which might otherwise have been an upsetting
experience.
The communication from the team since that day has been exceptional, with regular updates about Mum's well being and how she is fitting into her new surroundings. Mum has commented on the incredibly high standard of cleaning, the fabulous food and the joy of being able to go out into the pretty garden whenever she feels like it. In fact she has said she cannot fault a thing. My sister and I very much look forward to our visits as the atmosphere at Chamberlain Court is always one of a 'happy home'.

I simply cannot praise the staff at Chamberlain Court highly enough. The care they gave to my mum and the kindness, thoughtfulness and compassion they showed her was just incredible. My mum came to Chamberlain Court from hospital very poorly after fracturing her hip so she needed special care. She
received this with such diligence and love it meant that my sister and I could drive home after a visit with peace of mind that mum's needs were being met. My mum very sadly passed away recently and they allowed her to do that with grace and dignity all the time supporting my sister and I and our families.
This home has heart and soul and cares for each and every resident with love. I can't thank them all enough for what they have done for my mum and my family. You are Angels.

Having moved back to the UK from a very isolated house abroad, all our concerns about Dad have lifted. He's so happy at Chamberlain Court, can't speak highly enough of the staff, loves that everyone knew his name straight away, and is enjoying the lovely menu and the fabulous musical entertainment.
Everyone's commented on how well he looks and how relaxed he seems since moving here, and it's lovely to see his sense of humour back after some difficult years.
The environment and garden here are attractive, well cared for and comfortable, with plenty of spaces to socialise, or find some peace if that's what you need. But what really makes the place are the staff, who are so friendly, cheerful and caring. It's clear they enjoy coming to work, and there's a genuine rapport with residents. We feel welcome to visit any time, and it's lovely to be able to enjoy the social events and the café and gardens with Dad. We couldn't be happier with our choice.

From the very first interview to today. I have found the care home to be a clean and pleasant place to spend time. I always say you are visiting a 5* hotel. The staff are amazing, friendly, helpful and will always be at hand to guide you through. You know that the loved ones are in the best care
possible. There is so much to do. The craft, the singers, the bingo, with so many other things to do or watch or join in, the list is endless. Most importantly care is on hand 24/7, this gives everyone so much confidence that she will be well looked after. From the beginning our lady has been happy and today she had guests. I am told she was praising the staff and the wonderful new home she has and enjoyed giving them a tour and showed them her room, with such pride. Apart from being a Power of Attorney I am also someone who is very close to her and you really couldn't ask for anything better.

Mum would say that she is more attentively cared for, she enjoys the food and some of the activities particularly the classical music singer. It is clear she has made acquaintances with other residents that she appreciates and enjoys chatting with the carers she has got to know best.
For us, as her
relatives, we see her being active rather than being in bed or alone in her room in her previous residence. Care is on-hand and responsive and is delivered with a knowledge of that which Mum prefers.
Thanks for delivering on the promised care. We enjoy visiting more than we did her previous residence where at Chamberlain Court there is a welcoming and positive atmosphere.

Hallmark Chamberlain Court satisfies all our needs at the moment. Visitors are made very welcome but sometimes difficult to find parking.
Some of the rooms are very small but accommodation immediately found for an overflow of visitors.

From the time mum moved in she has been treated with great kindness and care. Every member of staff is so respectful and friendly so mum feels safe and happy. The quality of care is first rate and mum enjoys the activities and is very complementary about the meals and refreshments. She looks forward
to the summer and being able to enjoy the lovely outside space . She has settled in very quickly and is happier, as are we, knowing she is so well looked after .

From the reception area to all the first floor area, we find the staff charming and helpful and also feel totally welcome when visiting. We feel confident that she is getting all the care she could need. Thank you to all who do a difficult job.

My involvement with the care home has been from a professional standpoint. I can say that they have been immensely helpful in settling my client and making her feel at home. My client commented to me that 'you made the right choice' even though it was a decision we made together so I am pleased

My brother with diabetes and heart failure has been really happy at Chamberlain Court. The staff have been amazingly kind and thoughtful carrying brilliantly with his increasing frailty and progressing dementia. His time there has been better than we could have hoped for
My sister-in-law has
tragically severe Frontotemporal disease and is incapable of self-care, speech or recognition. Despite this, the staff have looked after her with skill and compassion. Even to the extent of organising choral singers for her birthday, knowing her past involvement in choral singing at a high level.

My father went to Chamberlain Court in December 2023. He was made to feel very welcome as were my sister and I. He has enjoyed all the activities and the staff have been wonderful. Fortunately, he has been able to enjoy the area and has been on a number of long walks.

All the staff are friendly, caring and helpful. We are delighted by the care being given to our family member. From the moment our family member arrived, the team has been dedicated to ensuring that both her wishes are listened to and understood and that the relevant care needs are put in place and
monitored to ensure that she is able to settle in fully. It is a pleasure to visit and everyone goes above and beyond to make sure it is an enjoyable time.
