Mum has been resident at Rush Hill Mews since July 2023 and our experience has been very good. Mum found it hard to settle in but the staff could not have made her feel more welcome and were very supportive of us as she adapted. Thankfully, now, she is much more content and is happier than she was
in the previous care home or whilst she lived alone.
The reception and care staff are always welcoming friendly and kind. We are regularly updated about Mum's care and given opportunity to voice any concerns we may have. The environment is lovely, from the well-kept grounds to the clean and stylish interior.
I would (and have!) recommended Rush Hill Mews to those looking for a care home.

Rush Hill has been very suitable for my Mother and overall we are very happy with it. Over the years, some excellent staff have been poached by other Care Homes. Obviously Rush Hill not necessarily to blame, but maybe did not try hard enough to retain them? Fortunately, great replacements have
been recruited.
The manager is sometimes pulled away to duties elsewhere. This leaves one feeling that Rush Hill is not the number one priority for the Company.
I would say that my Mother always looks well turned out and is very content there. No mean feat at all. I always enjoy visiting and everyone is very friendly to both me and my mother. It's a long drive so the snacks and cakes in the bistro are most welcome! I know my mother enjoys the activities, especially those involving music and dance. The team really engage with all of the participants, to ensure their inclusion and enjoyment.

Following illness & poor hospital care, I had to take the tough decision to move dad to a care home. I popped into Rush Hill Mews unannounced and was treated with complete kindness, understanding and reassurance. I knew immediately it was the right place. Dad moved in in November 2025 and having
been unable to get up out of a chair when leaving hospital, within a month he was transformed. He is now able to walk around with or without a frame and takes himself off to the bathroom on his own. The staff are fantastic, so kind, caring, happy and nothing is too much trouble. Dad enjoys the activities and spending time chatting to the staff and other residents. Family are encouraged to take part in activities and it really does feel like one big family.

I am incredibly impressed by Rush Hill Mews. I have had quite an extensive experience of care homes in my time as an NHS doctor. However this is the first time that I am seeing it with new eyes as the relative of a resident. First and foremost the staff at Rush Hill Mews are exemplary. Every member
of staff that I have interacted with, from the managers to the cleaners, have been polite, kind and compassionate. The staff team deserve huge credit for maintaining their compassionate and professional stance whilst performing their challenging daily duties with competence. My dad is cared for extremely well and despite his terrible diagnosis, he always looks bright and chirpy, thanks to the kindness and compassion the staff show him every single day. I cannot praise the staff highly enough and I am in total awe of their team cohesion and their focus on providing the best possible health and social care for the vulnerable adults at Rush Hill Mews.

Mum settled quickly into her new home. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and mum has always enjoyed a friendly face and chat! The bistro is a relaxing place to share a coffee and cake with mum when we visit, and taking her around the gorgeous garden is always relaxing for us all. We have had
lots of support at this difficult time and really enjoyed The Dog Show ( with real dogs!), mums lovely birthday afternoon tea with a personal gift and just recently the fun Murder Mystery dinner party!
We appreciate the regular medical updates and the discussions when we visit, and have always received friendly advice when needed. Mums room is perfect with a lovely view, and is always clean.Mum always looks well cared for. She is surrounded by her own belongings, and the memory box outside her room is a brilliant idea. It's great that she has an en suite too. Other residents are getting to recognise us and we enjoy being able to chat to them in the lounges and public spaces.

I am very pleased with the outstanding care my mother receives at Rush Hill Mews. It provides a warm and welcoming environment for residents and their families, and all the team are extremely kind and helpful. My mother enjoys the wide variety of activities available, and opportunities for
socialising.

Ray, my father was resident at Rush Hill for just over 2 years until his sad passing in january this year
I have nothing but praise for the professionalism of all the staff at Rush Hill and the care Dad received, particularly in his last few months, could not have been better.
He also enjoyed the
activities and , especially , the food!
10 out 10 and once again a big thank you to all the staff involved

My Mum has been living at Rush Hill Mews since November 2025, and I have been really heartened to see just how incredibly hard and with kindness the Carers work, and the Nurses and the Events coordinators also. The staff seem to have great pride in their work of looking after the residents and they
enjoy working with them.
And in addition to all this, the Management Team are always working in-tandem with the rest of the workforce, including the Laundry and Maintenance operatives. This results in my Mum, and the other residents, being so well-cared for at Rush Hill Mews, and treated with dignity & gentleness that they deserve.
The ground floor bistro area and the various break-out lounge spaces, on every floor, are also such a welcome part of life at this nursing home, for the residents and their visiting families too. So many thanks, and bravo, to all the staff at Rush Hill Mews nursing home.

Choosing a care home is not an easy job. We visited quite a few in the Bath area. Thankfully Rush Hill made the job easier as it really stood out. From the moment we entered we were struck by how clean it was, how modern, and most importantly, how the residents were out of their rooms and in the
communal areas socialising with each other and getting involved in activities. The staff were incredibly friendly, and what really struck me was that they had a lot of pride in the Home and that they really enjoyed working with the residents. We therefore chose Rush Hill for Mum and certainly made the right choice. I enjoy visiting Mum, and most importantly Mum is now settling in, has friends, gets involved in activities, and is enjoying many parts of her life there. We also now have the peace of mind that Mum is safe. It's certainly not easy to move a loved one from home to residential care, but I think if you are in that position, Rush Hill is a really great place to choose.

My wife is generally very well cared for. She has Alzheimer's and does need quite a bit of support.she enjoys quite a lot of the activities but would benefit from more contact with the ground floor. She has still got. Some of the qualities of a high powered senior executive but her personal care is
now defective so she needs support in going to the loo at.
I have one criticism which is that she is sometimes dressed inappropriately. If she needs more clothes then someone should let me know. At times, her room is not as clean as I would hope.

No one wants to be in the position of choosing a care home for our parent/s, but sadly, after mum was diagnosed with rapid-onset dementia in June, this was the case for me. After a very stressful 6 weeks at the wrong home, I was really concerned to make sure I made the right choice & as soon as I
met Millie at Rush Hill I knew this was the right place for mum. After a few twists and turns in the journey (which Millie & the team could not have been more supportive over) mum was finally transferred to Rush Hill in July. From her first day, I immediately felt like a huge weight had been lifted & over the past 3 months I have witnessed nothing but outstanding care, compassion & kindness. I am well informed about mum's health & consulted on everything that's happening to her. Not only do the team treat mum with absolute dignity & respect, but they are also lovely to me when I visit. I cannot recommend Rush Hill more highly & am forever grateful to them all, especially all of the Sulis Team

Our dad spent his final months at Rush Hill Care Home, and we couldn't have asked for a more caring and supportive environment. From the start, the home felt light, airy and welcoming, a genuinely positive place. The entire team, from staff, carers to nurses, to receptionists, were consistently
friendly, upbeat and compassionate. Millie was exceptional from the beginning - professional, kind, incredibly reassuring. The nursing staff provided outstanding care, always outstanding, always attentive to Dad's personal needs and treating him with dignity and respect. There was a real sense of joy and warmth throughout the home, often filled with laughter and smiles. One thing that meant a lot to us was the regular updates. We were always kept informed about Dad's health and day-to-day care, which gave us peace of mind when we couldn't be there. Visiting was flexible, and the staff made every effort to accommodate us, always greeting us with kindness and warmth. Rush Hill was not just a care home - it's a community full of heart. We will always be grateful for the love, respect and dedication. The whole team cared for dad and our family.

My mother has received outstanding care since moving to Rush Hill Mews. She has been treated with dignity and respect by all the staff, and feels safe and supported in her new home. Visiting mum is a delight; it's a joy to see her so happy and settled.

My mum moved into Rush Hill Mews in the middle of May 2025 following a fall at home and a short stay in hospital. She said that she no longer felt safe at home (she had lived on her own for a number of years following the death of my father). The family looked at a number of care homes in the area
before choosing Rush Hill Mews. The change in her since she moved in to Rush Hill Mews has been amazing, she has got the colour back in her cheeks and the sparkle back in her eyes! Her mobility has also noticeably improved. The staff have been wonderful and I can't praise them enough for the standard of care that my mum has received - they are brilliant. She has made friends with some of the other residents and joined in with the activities. She is particularly enjoying the food which is of a high standard. The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming and the family is always kept informed about what is going on. All in all a wonderful home that has made the world of difference to my mu

My aunt has been a resident of Rush Hill Mews since November 2023, I can honestly say the care and support she has received In that time has been above and beyond my expectations of a care home. Everyone who supports my aunt from the care team, domestic staff, catering staff, management and
reception staff always go above and beyond in all aspects of the support given. My aunts health and well being have improved greatly since she moved in, she always looks clean and presentable whatever time of the day I visit, she has gained weight which was desperately needed by her, her general health has stabilised resulting in less falls, she is now receiving the social stimulation which has helped combat her loneliness she had at home even with a live in Carer. Staff retention is fantastic which helps greatly to keep my aunt settled, to feel welcomed every time I visit and I know them all by name
I would highly recommend Rush Hill Mews to anyone considering care for their loved one

My Dad has recently moved to Rush Hill Mews after my Mum passed away. It's been a traumatic and stressful year for all of the family and making the decision for Dad to go into a care home was not an easy one.
However from the moment we met the staff member who came to visit Dad in his own home and
talked things through it felt like a weight had been lifted.
My brother, myself and Dad all agree we couldn't have chosen a home. It's such a happy atmosphere.
From day one it felt like all residents and staff at Rush Hill Mews had become part of our extended family.
Being Dads carer for a while I felt so stressed having the worry of Dad living on his own, not eating properly, trying to book Doctors appointments etc. There's no more of that. I can sleep well knowing that my Dad could not be anywhere better, he is safe and everyone one of the staff are true angels showing him nothing but kindness, understanding, and patience.

I am happy with every aspect of the care that my father gets at Rush Hill. It has lived up to everything said by the friends who recommended it when I was first looking to bring him down to Bath from Scotland. What I see is a home that doesn't just look to maintain its already good standards: it
actively seeks to improve them, involving residents and relatives along the way.
The staff are warm, welcoming, and highly competent. I admire the calm, gentle, and confident way they handle my father's moments of anxiety and anger. Through our conversations they have helped me to come more fully to terms with his dementia, so that he and I get the best out of our times together.
I love the effort put into providing a wide range of daily activities. It's always good to see the pictures on Facebook, showing dad enjoying himself. And then there are the special activities: I will forever treasure the picture of dad participating in the baguette javelin event at last summer's "Olympics"!

Mum has lived at RHM since July 2024, having had 24x7 care in her house for 2 yrs. Mum has dementia which has slowly developed since her Dad passed in 2015. She's always been very sociable & active.
We were worried Mum moving 25 miles to Bath (where my wife & I live) & to a care home but we brought
her to RHM for a visit & she she loved it & wanted to move! I looked at all Bath dementia care homes & it was 1 of only 2 I felt happy Mum going to & it def seemed the best option & the extra cost would be worth it.
It has been!! She & we are so pleased. A lovely feeling of light & space. Great, friendly staff with good comms skills, lots of staff (compared to many others) which allows them to prevent issues/deal with them quickly. That all means Mum & the residents in general always seem happy. Lots of activities, lovely food, nice garden. RHM is responsive to questions & requests & encourages relatives to come to party nights etc. It doesn't feel part of a big company. 100% recommend!

My father is living with dementia & Parkinson's and has been living at Rush Hill Mews since last summer. I think the care he gets there is excellent; the atmosphere is cosy and friendly, food is great, staff are hugely caring and compassionate and he settled in really well. It's reassuring to know
he's in safe hands there. Since my dad has mobility issues, it's also so helpful to have extra services there too such as the hairdresser and podiatrist, and the staff member who organises the activities and events seems to make a huge effort to get the residents involved.

My Grandmother is very well looked after here, all staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Also impressed that there are always plenty of staff available.
Now that my Grandmother is receiving full nursing care, the family are very pleased with the care and attention she gets.
