From the moment I walked into RM, I felt something special. It wasn't just the beautiful surroundings or warm décor, but a genuine sense of compassion that you notice immediately, even before anyone speaks
Estelle, made a lasting impression. Despite her busy role, she always takes time to listen
and make others feel valued. Her warmth, reassurance, and quiet strength reflect a rare and genuine kindness that comes naturally to her
Even in brief interactions, Gabby makes one feel safe and cared for. The patience, tenderness, and respect she shows residents are deeply moving and offer true reassurance that loved ones are in compassionate hands
Throughout the home every space is clean and welcoming, but it's the people who give it life. The connection between staff and residents, the gentle humour, and small acts of kindness are felt everywhere making time standstill
My visit left me grateful for people like Estelle, Haley, and Gaby and thankful places like RM exist for those we care about

My Aunt had a fall at home and was taken to hospital. We knew she couldn't return to her home. We decided on Ridley Manor for the following reasons; The staff including manager, nurses, care workers were friendly, caring with dignity those in a lot of need. The room we were shown was nicely
furnished with lovely bed linen. If there are any concerns I can always talk to anyone. It has a nice atmosphere, always something going on as well as quiet areas nicely set out.

My wife has now been in Ridley Manor for 3 months
The care she receives is exceptional with all members of staff knowing her by name and always speaking to her as they pass, from the cleaning and maintenance staff, to all the careers and senior staff She is treated as a special individual
It
takes a weight off my shoulders knowing she is so well cared for

I have found all the staff to be pro-active and approachable.
The staff team, at all levels, go out of their way to greet my husband when their paths cross in the bistro at the garden.
The whole family are made very welcome when visiting.
We are very happy to recommend Ridley Manor.

My Dad was a resident of Ridley Manor care home for just over two years. The care he received was absolutely excellent in every way. The staff were always very kind to him and made sure he was very comfortable. The home was very communicative with us and kept us up to date and called straight away
if there were any problems.

I visited 7 care homes before deciding on Ridley Manor and I am delighted with the decision I made.
It provides a warm, welcoming, environment. The staff are amazing. It is very well run and managed. Everyone I have been involved with is highly professional and very caring. Any health concerns
relating to my resident were always dealt with promptly and I was kept well-informed. The staff take great interest in getting to know all of their residents and everyone is treated with respect and dignity. The food always looks delicious and there are always several choices. Staff arrange for visiting professionals to carry out regular sight tests and dental checks which is very helpful. There is a full and varied timetable of activities for all residents which is updated every week. The building, furnishings, decoration and gardens are very well managed and well maintained.
Overall, it is an amazing care home run by amazing staff, and I have no hesitation in recommending it.

We chose Ridley Manor for my mum after she could no longer be cared for at home due to her dementia and risk of falling after suffering a broken hip. She moved there in May 2025 and it was the best thing we could have done. The staff have been absolutely wonderful and I feel have really got to know
her, they always try to engage her in activities they know she'll enjoy and are so kind and patient with her. They have made sure she has the right medical care and always treat her with dignity and respect. Family and friends are always made to feel welcome when they visit and I appreciate that they are encouraged to get involved with events at Ridley Manor. The recent garden party was a joyful event.

My 91-year-old father moved into Ridley Manor in March 2025. He lost his wife in September 2024 and was struggling to cope on his own.
He was made to feel very welcome from day one and soon settled in and began to make friends. There were plenty of activities going on and he was encouraged to join
in with whatever appealed to him. He enjoyed having people around to chat and have a laugh with.
However, just prior to moving into Ridley Manor he was diagnosed with a terminal condition, and his health deteriorated rapidly. So, sadly his time there was cut short. The care that he received during those final weeks and days was excellent. The staff could not do enough for him and looked after him with kindness and compassion.
We will be forever grateful that we chose Ridley Manor to take care of my dad at this difficult time.

and respect. The facilities are very clean and comfortable. There's a strong emphasis on keeping residents engaged with a wide variety of activities, which has had a noticeably positive effect on my Dad's wellbeing. Most importantly, I have complete peace of mind knowing my Dad is in safe hands. Communication from the home is excellent and they keep us regularly updated. Thank you to everyone at Ridley Manor for your continued dedication.

The nursing staff are wonderful at Ridley Manor. Mum has had a lot of infections in the past 12 months. She falls fast and a few hours can make the difference between staying at the home or hospitalisation. For a dementia sufferer with hearing loss, hospital is traumatic and distressing. Their
ability to notice minute changes in mum and the speed with which they have got doctors to prescribe antibiotics have stopped mum going to hospital more than she has, and unnecessarily. Their genuine care is much appreciated. The carers are kind, thoughtful and keen to always improve her wellbeing. The home is clean and well appointed with lovely activities. Thank you.

Mum came into Ridley Manor for a 2-month Respite period. The care and support all the staff provided for my mother over this period was excellent and provided my mother and the family assurances that my Mum would be cared for during a very challenging period. The staff went above and beyond to
ensure Mum was provided the tailored care and support she needed, which enabled Mum to thrive in the care home, getting involved in all of the activities that kept Mum active, engaged, social, and happy. It was a hard decision placing Mum in a care home, but I can honestly say it was the right one for everyone, thanks to the facilities and staff provided by Ridley Manor.
