My mother in law became a resident of Greenwood Park Care Home in October 2025 after a short stay in hospital after which the hospital stated she needed full time care so was going to be discharged from hospital to a care home. Myself (who has Lasting Power of Attorney) and my wife intervened to
chose the care home. We contacted Greenwood Court and were quickly invited to view. Having then decided this was the sort of care home we were looking for the management of the home attended the hospital to carry out an assessment of my m.i.l. It was quickly agreed that my m.i.l. would become a resident of your care home. Since then my m.i.l has become accustomed to life in the home.
My m.i.l has now become used to being a care home resident and is very happy with her life there. Throughout we have been very happy with the home's staff both the management and the care departments. The atmosphere in the home is very welcoming and friendly. The level of care is excellent.

My brother in law has been in the home since June 25 he is chair bound in has chronic back pain .He is a bit reclusive and does not participate in the many activities organised by the staff .He is well looked after by the delicate care staff and any queries are taken care of quickly and efficiently
.The food is of good quality and variety served in his room by his request.
His care plan is regularly reviewed and discussed with me as his L.P.A.

The gardens are looking beautiful. It is so important for residents to have somewhere to sit and spend some time outside. It is lovely to take loved ones for a walk and sit outside and admire the flowers. A lot of work has been put in to make sure an improvement to the gardens. My brother enjoys the

My mum has been in the care home for a number of years. She has been very happy here. All the staff are very caring and helpful. The resident rooms on the ground floor include a spacious wet room/bathroom which is exceptionally good. My mum also loves her own patio and garden and she has enjoyed
many outdoor and indoor activities. The home is very welcoming to all visitors and the staff are very efficient and kind. Medical care was exceptional recently when my mum was ill. Thank you to everyone for making my mum happy in the home.

Good care. Very good food, well presented. Excellent catering staff. The carers on duty in the lounges could have more interactions with the residents when no organised activities are taking place. Activities have been very good but with the organiser leaving, I hope the home can recruit someone as
enthusiastic and reactive.

Care for my Mother has been fantastic. Staff are always responsive and so kind and caring to help Mum to be comfortable as she has been bed bound since October 2024. Home and gardens are well kept and welcoming. Thank you

I visit my mother twice a week and the staff are always friendly and welcoming, updating me on what mum has been up to and how she is. The staff are very patient and kind with mum who is often confused and repetitive.
The home is spotlessly clean, the meals look and smell lovely, I haven't eaten
there myself. They do their best to include all the residents in the various activities and are looking after my mother well.
My only slight criticism is that the chairs in the residents lounges could be more appropriate for the older generation.

Mum has been a resident in the care home for several years. I am currently abroad in Portugal and Spain with my husband. This has been made possible with the confidence we have that mum will be kept safe, well, stimulated and happy by staff at Greenwoods caring for her. I received my usual
resident of the day call to update/ discuss issues which was reassuring during my absence. Our thanks to the team.

My overall experience was excellent. I was shown warmth, caring and understanding by management and staff. They were most welcoming. The facilities were excellent, including a hairdresser, cinema, library and coffee lounge. The entertainment was excellent, especially during the Christmas and New
Year periods. The food was excellent with variety and my special requests. My husband was made welcome to visit me at any time.

My brother is a resident. We visited from America during a Nuro outbreak, the staff were amazing, took fantastic care of us during our visits. They obviously care very much for the residents, he loves them. I can't express how much I appreciate them. You as a company probably don't even realise what
a wonderful group of people you have.

We couldn't thank Greenwood Court enough for their services over the course of my mum's respite stay. We were welcomed upon arrival and made to feel comfortable up until the day Mum left. The activities over the Christmas period were outstanding, they included carol services, quizzes, bingo and much
more - which my mum was thrilled about! The staff are always very positive and the home itself has great amenities, including a cinema, activities room and gardens. The rooms are immaculate and custom to your own. We are extremely thankful for the short turnaround of respite and the overall experience at Greenwood Court. Highly recommend.

So many plus points. Very friendly care home. The staff are lovely and nothing is ever too much trouble. Daily activities and occasional coach trips have been a wonderful boost for my mother, she has found a whole new family there. I feel she is now very safe and secure, she has a call button which
is reassuring that any issues she has are dealt with. Although the restaurant, activity room, library, television room and lounge area are all separate there is a bistro by the entrance/reception which is a great friendly social space for residents and families to gather.
Unfortunately, it seems very understaffed with a high turnover of care staff. Getting through by phone evenings and weekends is quite challenging.

I have had a very good experience when making the very hard decision for my mother to receive full-time care. The admin/care staff have always been very helpful and plenty of feedback when my mother first arrived. Greenwood Court has a lovely "homely" atmosphere and is always very welcoming. The
care staff are always happy to share details about my mother's routine and reassure me when needed in a kind and professional manner. The gentleman who organises the activities is very enthusiastic and good fun, keeping me well informed of activities in the home. The home itself is clean and very well maintained and the food is of a very good standard. It has been generally a good experience for my mother and our family.

Not all residents have dementia and my comment will solely be on dementia as it affects my wife. Management and nurses are very good, always available and very helpful. Most carers are very good, attentive, lovely, kind and helpful. A few are less aware of the care dementia residents need. In the
activities daily do not provide the stimulation they need. Watching TV is fine but those residents cannot follow plots or stories with their problems. The man is very good with his music sessions where they can join in, this is wonderful to see. The facilities are excellent. The food is very good and I am generally very pleased my wife is there. I know caring for people with dementia is very difficult and I greatly appreciate the work they do.

Overall I think it's a good care home. I think the staff are pleasant and approachable and helpful.
My mother finds the portions small. Especially the tea time and repetitive, mainly sandwiches.
She also says the amount of interruptions of carers going in and out of her room means she doesn't
fully rest. The recent fire drill gave confusion to both my mother and me and I think an up-to-date reminder of the drill should be issued to residents and family (and visitors should be made aware if a drill is to be carried out) already mentioned via an email but no response yet.
I feel the food could be less seasoned and more age-related.

My sister regularly returns to Greenwood Court for respite stays. She is always welcomed warmly and sees it as her wonderful second home. The staff are always kind, caring and professional, they go above and beyond. The home is beautiful and has a wonderful atmosphere, emphasizing the focus on its
residents. I can't praise Greenwood Court enough. Thank you for all your hard work and care.

My sister was out into "end-of-life" care, and your care home made her last days secure, comfortable and without pain. Seeing her in her room being cared for so well made it so much less distressing for her son, daughter-in-law and myself. I cannot thank the staff enough for all the care and for the
updates that were given to the family.
