The staff are all very friendly, the rooms are clean. There are plenty of activities for the residents. The food is amazing, all made on site - fresh. Pets are allowed in.
I'm very pleased with the care my father-in-law is getting.

In general the care home is excellent. The residents are well looked after with plenty of activities to keep them engaged. My dad is happy here and we are confident that he is being cared for. The only negative is sometimes had to ask for things to be done too many times.

Mum has not been particularly well and had great care and attention. Home lost a few great staff, and are very missed.

Abbeydale meets all my mother's needs and more. It's a beautiful home and everybody looks after her with care and respect. Food is exceptional and we get to sample some at taster nights. Management, carers and activitiy coordinators all do an amazing job. It's a well run care home and everybody has
a role to play, and they all do it so well. Well done Abbeydale, so happy my mum's a resident in your home.

Excellent facility , great level of engagement with my mum, lots of great services so mum thinks she is in a rehab hotel which helps with her anxiety over not being in a care home. Totally recommend, seriously don't think mum would still be with us if she wasn't at Abbeydale.
Staff are so helpful
and patient , lots of good humour and camaraderie. Nursing care is excellent and I can sleep at night knowing mum is looked after.

Friendly, patient staff. Who have taken their time with my mother but also with myself.
Staff all introduced themselves which is a reassuring touch. Decor and amenities are excellent- all are modern and clean

Both my parents are been looked after here, staff are brilliant nothing to much trouble, very well fed and their rooms are clean and tidy , we had a few problems with my dad settling in and the management team were amazing sorting it all out

The staff at Abbeydale are wonderful - very friendly, patient and extremely hardworking.
My Dad can be challenging to deal with but he has received nothing but respect and kindness from everyone.
The home is always spotlessly clean, warm and welcoming and I know (from my Dad) that the food is
excellent which is high praise indeed from him!
There are always plenty of activities for the residents to get involved in as well.
All in all a fantastic environment and great staff

Over the last year we have found the home to be a happy, pleasant, environment with nursing , care , catering and domestic staff all doing their very best to look after our loved ones which is really appreciated.

I am very happy with the care my mum receives in Abbeydale, she is treated with dignity and my mum is very settled and content there. The food is exceptional, it is all prepared and cooked in house. I am kept up to date with my mum's care plans with regular phone calls, my contribution is welcomed
too.
My mum's room is always clean and tidy and all rooms are en-suite. I feel so fortunate that my mum has a place in this home.

All the staff at Abbeydale Court have been so helpful in the transition of our dad going into care. They are so caring and nothing is too much trouble.
My dad wasn't in a good way when he arrived (from the US) and within a week he was out of his chair and walking around, sitting up and feeding
himself.
His condition is challenging yet the staff all understand the struggles he is having and support him with compassion and respect!
The food is fabulous and I can't praise the chef and team enough also. Healthy and balanced meals daily!
Staff at Abbeydale have really made an effort to make our family welcome when we visit our dad, especially the little kids! They loved going to Abbeydale cinema and coffee shop.
We no longer have sleepless nights worrying about my dad now as we know he's getting the best care possible.

My husband has been in this care home for the past 18 months. He has settled very well and will tell me how good it is and that he loves it.
He is very well looked after by all members of staff. He attends many of the activities provided and even gets one to one music therapy.
I have noted how
happy all the staff are going about their work, they always acknowledge you when you visit .
The food is first class and the chef goes above and beyond to cater for the residents. The taster nights are a wonderful idea and it gives relatives an idea what is being served.
Communication is excellent and the monthly updates are very useful.
I would not hesitate to recommend this care home.

Overall my mum is very well taken care of at Abbeydale Court. I find the staff to be very approachable, professional and very caring and compassionate towards my mum.
The Home is always clean and the meals my mum receives are of excellent quality.

She was discharged from hospital to Abbey Dale Court to allow her time to recover from a pelvic operation. She has enjoyed her stay, the nurses are friendly & helpful. All very understanding. My daughter was given a big birthday party, cake, balloons etc. A musical party enjoyed by us & residents.
The chef & team cater for her eating, meals etc again a major consideration & birthday cake etc. There is adequate entertainment. In her case, physio was scarce. We used NHS & private physios for exercise & walking facilities.

My mother has now been at Abbey Dale Court since Oct 2024. Her care has been excellent and the Team from the business management Team to all of the Team on Castle Unit well done. I chat with mum from Canada every Sunday and Wednesday, My mum continues to give high praises to the care and
attention she is receiving, given some issues with her legs. I believe this is now my 3rd review and will continue to do so to ensure the high standard of care = higher ratings. I am very fortunate being so far away that there is in my view a very good communication process. From the Leadership Team keep posting what you do pictures tell many a story and mum is very fortunate to be part of Abbey Dale Court.
One can only expect the care as we age to be the best it can be given to everyone in different circumstances, I will again say while I was over in Hamilton last year-the level of care was first class. All Teams no matter what floor and Leadership makes this caring/professional.

Staff are excellent they are kind caring and we're genuinely concerned for my mum when she has not been great recently
This is not only the carers and nurses but the activity staff, catering staff, cleaners. Maintenance staff and laundry staff they have all popped in to see mum and ask how she was
feeling, that is the caring environment she is living in and we appreciate that as a family
The nursing staff are always making sure she is ok and informing family if needed. Can't praise them all enough Thank You

My mum resided at Abbey Dale Court for 3-4 months in total, from August until October 24. Great care & attention was paid to mum with establishing her care plan making it unique & personalised at every stage. Mum very quickly settled in with the support of a great team within the Castle St unit,
when mum required assistance from the medical practice supporting the home this was quickly acted on & actioned.
Mum had to be admitted to hospital & wonderful care was taken to ensure every support was given throughout. Unfortunately mum was unable to return to Abbey Dale & passed away.
I am extremely grateful for the dedicated care & attention given to mum throughout, the home has a great dedicated team who all pull together to create a welcoming, warm, happy & caring environment.
Can't thank everyone enough.

The home is lovely, clean, and well-furnished.
Communication does not flow well between shifts. This needs to be addressed.
If a lot of staff turnover does not help communication. My Father is good although laundry is an issue sometimes.
Overall I am very happy with Abbey Dale Court and
appreciate the weekly updates from the manager.

My husband has been in this care home for the past 18 months. He has settled very well and will tell me how good it is and that he loves it.
He is very well looked after by all members of staff. He attends many of the activities provided and even gets one to one music therapy.
