It was rewarding to know my grandparents were being looked after to high standard and all staff were friendly and the activities done daily by the team were amazing.
My Grandparents were always happy when we visited and the coffee shop was a plus for family members to beable to meet and have a

In December 2025 after living at Pear Tree Court for one year, my mum had a stroke. When she was discharged from hospital, the nursing and care teams worked hard to understand the changes in Audrey's abilities and needs. They adapted their approach to Audrey's care so that she could regain most of
her speech, the use of her hands, regain a little mobility and the ability to join in with social activities. We could not have hoped for a better outcome.

Pear Tree Court was a fantastic home for my mum who has just had a 2 week stay for respite. (We have also booked a future stay).
We felt heard right from our first contact and were welcomed in. It really does feel like a big family of love and support where needed. All the staff were great and
patient and it was a relief to know that my mum was safe and well cared for. John deserves a special mention as he is so attentive and caring which makes a difficult decision a little easier. Thank you Pear Tree Court.

From the initial visit to Pear Tree Court, everything felt just right for my father's needs. The Management are extremely knowledgeable and efficient, and their staff are diligent, friendly, and always willing to help. The space is clean, bright and cheery and there's an airy environment
throughout. The Café, located near Reception, offers a pleasant spot to relax with your loved ones and overlooks the lovely courtyard garden. There are also many daily activities should the residents wish to participate. At the time of my father's admission, we were unsure how long his stay might be for, and it was of great comfort to learn that should he require additional nursing needs then this could be available to him at Pear Tree Court. It takes time for the care staff to get to know their residents, however they have been really wonderful, and my father has settled in very well.

From the very first day when I contacted Pear Tree Court to enquire about availability at the Care Home I knew Mum was going to be happy here. Pear Tree Court offers everything anyone could require - from excellent care, entertainment, activities, food and good company, whether that be from the
other residents or a chat with staff members. The Home itself is spotlessly clean and Mum was encouraged to bring any home comforts with her. Mum loves the garden and enjoys a wander round it to see the flowerbeds and sit and have a coffee outside while the weather is still good. She also loves seeing the children at Baby and Toddler Group which is held fortnightly to encourage interaction between residents and families. Mum was struggling to manage her own home and her failing eyesight hindered her mobility, and when we first brought Mum to have a look round Pear Tree Court her words were "I should have done this years ago!".

My mum has been at Pear Tree just over two weeks and the change in her is incredible.
Despite a lot of care visits at home my mum was still struggling, since being at Pear Tree she is doing so much better, she is now getting dressed each day, eating and drinking the lovely food and joining in lots
of the activities on offer.
The staff are wonderful and with lots of encouragement mum is now enjoying life in a way that is suitable for her situation, seeing the smile and little grins on her face again is so heart warming.
It was a very tough decision as a family to make this move into care for mum a very emotional journey for us, the staff have understood this and been very supportive to the family as we navigated this process. The support we have had during the visits to choose this home and since mum has been a resident has been fantastic. Thank you Pear Tree

My grandma, is always well looked after and we have a good strong communication between ourselves and the staff at the home. There is always activities on for the residents to do, which I really value as my grandma really benefits with interaction. Staff are always really friendly and polite and
they make a lot of our family when we come to see her.

My Uncle has stayed in Pear Tree Court for respite care on a number of occasions when he is not coping at home. He has arrived feeling tired, unwell and undernourished. Within a very short time of arriving he has rallied, feeling better and eating properly. The staff have always kept me informed of
his progress and of any concerns.

My mum is beginning to settle in at Pear Tree Court. She has had a really good experience with the carers since she moved in to her new home in early May. For me I am very comfortable with the care she is being given and how the home is dealing with her integration. She has many activities in
which to participate and is beginning to make some friends. She really enjoys the food. I am finally now relaxed about her environment and no longer worried about her living at home alone when her mobility had restricted her quality of life so much.
The introduction process, from one member of staff was also a key reason why we joined Pear Tree. Thanks.

Care home was good and nice environment, good patio in the garden. My room had a good patio door and a nice garden view, it made me feel relaxed and comfortable. Room temperature was perfect.
When I first visited the Care home, the staff gave me a very good introduction and made me feel welcome!
The food deserts had too much sugar for me because I am diabetic. The food quality was generally good.

My nan has been in Pear Tree Court since January and is settling in nicely. She has already been moved rooms to one with a garden view which hopefully she will get to see soon but has been very poorly since Christmas when she was in hospital with flu and pneumonia. The care staff are very attentive
to detail and making sure she has everything she needs. The chef also is great and knows her favourite foods. The facilities are good and there is a cafe where you can make yourself coffee and there are homemade goods for all to eat. Upstairs there is a cinema for the residents which has even been made to look as such with proper seats. All the staff and reception are very welcoming and friendly. You can visit as much as you like. I am especially impressed with the timetable that goes out every week with different events and sometimes birthdays that they can all participate in. Hopefully nan will get better soon and enjoy some of these.

Pear Tree Court is a wonderful place in all respects. The staff are amazing and work so hard to ensure all the residents' needs are met. Mum has been there for 18 months and is very happy, she has made friends and has the choice of many activities if she wishes to join in. There is a hair salon too
and also regular pampering sessions where Mum has her nails painted which she loves. Pear Tree Court has a very homely feel and is beautifully furnished and comfortable. The food is very good and the chef always ensures residents favourites are on the menu. There are no restrictions for visiting and there is a lovely coffee shop and garden area. I attend the regular relative meetings, which are held by the management and are very helpful in hearing about future plans and events and a chance to ask questions. Although the management have an open-door policy so it's always easy to speak to them should you need to.

Pear Tree Court is a lovely place. Not at all the typical idea we have of care homes. It is bright, modern, clean and beautifully decorated. Very well laid out with lots of lovely rooms for activities or quiet moments should you need them. There is a coffee shop with drinks and cakes for residents
and visitors and a large garden. The dining room is lovely with amazing food on offer with a change of menu every day. There is a lovely friendly atmosphere and everyone greets us cheerily. Our Mum has her door open so staff and other residents often pop in for a chat or wave as they go by. It has been a big adjustment for our Mum and not without difficulties but after a few months she is feeling much more settled. It has been a huge relief for our family to know that she has 24 hour care and is safe. One issue is that staffing levels are not always as good as they should be. Our Mum has sometimes still been in bed until late morning when visitors arrive. Care on the whole is great.
