I am very pleased with the care and support, the care home provides, especially as staff numbers have been cut, which makes it hard work for them to look after the residents. All the staff are very helpful and very kind to my brother-in-law. I am very impressed with the meals they provide and how
lovely and clean the home is kept. The entertainment that is on every day is first class. Also the management run the home amazingly well. Well done to all of you.

My brother came into the home end of June this year after 5 months in hospital with a stroke. He has severe learning difficulties and the staff have been wonderful to him. He loves his new home and loves to go to the activities every day. We all as his family go to see him three times a week, he's
always happy and is making lots of friends and his life is full. He's also making the residents smile!

Since my wife has been in Oakdale she has come on a great deal. Thanks to the care and kindness of all the staff in there.
She is very happy and learning to stand again. We have asked for NHS help but no one has been forth coming.

My aunt was with you for her final years and you treated her with care and respect. When clearing her room 2 staff members came to see that I was okay and shared with me their memories of my aunt.
It has a touching experience, especially as she had been bed-ridden for 18 months so their memories
meant they had known her when she was more lively. Thank you.

I had a great afternoon with mum on the second floor they had a woman singer in mum was singing and dancing which we have not seen in a long time. A member of staff was excellent with the residents she is a star.

Excellent staff provide a caring and safe environment.
Quality if life is great due to all the activities that mum loves. She loves the afternoons in the garden especially when the singers are in.

Dad is really well looked after by all the team. All the staff take time to get to know them and treat them all very well and with respect. The home is always very clean and tidy, but always feels very homely too. I feel at ease knowing that he is being well looked after.

Friendly staff, great facilities, always clean and tidy, lots of activities for the residents to join in with. Nice, cheerful vibe and all the residents seem well cared for.

Oakdale is a caring community that really goes above and beyond. They have taken the time to get to know my father and all his little quirks and treat him with great care and attention. The Care Home is frequently thematically decorated. Yesterday, everywhere was filled with red for Valentine's Day.
It looked lovely. There is a warm welcome every time I visit, and there's always time for a chat or any questions. Activities, food, housekeeping and admin all add to the excellent care that my father is receiving from the nursing staff and carers. Well done, everyone!

Carers are especially kind hearted and jolly.

Very impressed with all the events that are scheduled. My mother-in-law loves all the entertainment and animals.
The carers are very friendly and go out of their way to help.
We enjoy the hot drinks machine when we visit.

Mum has been in care since July 2024. There have been some problems with laundry going missing and some instances where the food could be better. However, the care Mum has received has been amazing. Her health and mobility has improved and she enjoys the company of others and the staff. All the
staff are so welcoming to relatives and Mum always comments on how friendly and helpful they are. Mum is very happy.

Just had a fantastic afternoon celebrating Armistice Day. Excellent presentation, staff were amazing, the buffet was brilliant.
