I can't rate the care my father in law receives from the Banstead Manor team highly enough. From the front desk team who create such a welcoming atmosphere whenever we go to visit, to the care team who look after him day to day with kindness and dignity and the support team who keep the home such a lovely place to live. I feel like everyone really cares about my father in law as an individual not just as a resident. They work so hard to keep him happy and comfortable and it's so comforting to his family knowing he's safe and cared for every day. Anyone considering this care home for a family member please don't hesitate.
Banstead Manor is a lovely home with first class facilities and caring staff. The best thing about it is the way that the team go above and beyond to support the residents and their individual needs. I wanted to share a recent example. Due to his condition my dad struggles to engage socially and rarely wants to get involved with the day to day activities despite encouragement from his family and the team. One of the carers (Toni) discovered he had an interest in Concorde and decided to put together a presentation that he and the other residents could attend. She took the time to research, prepare and deliver it herself and It was wonderful to see my Dad so engaged and sharing his thoughts and experiences. Thank you Toni and the whole Banstead team for your ongoing kindness and for looking after him so well.
My mother in law moved into Banstead Manor Care Home on 12th August 2025. She was finding it difficult to manage on her own at home. All the staff at Banstead Manor have made her feel very welcome and have made the transition easier for her. The staff are very friendly, caring and attentive, nothing is to much trouble for them. The activities team work really hard and have included her in the wide range of activities they offer, from arts & crafts, exercising, knitting and socialising in the cafe and garden. Banstead Manor has a very warm and friendly atmosphere which runs throughout the home and makes visiting a pleasure. We are so lucky to have found Banstead Manor Care Home.
My mother was looked after in an amazing fashion by all the staff at Banstead Manor. They were attentive and friendly. They took the time to understand her requirements and provided the services required to make her as comfortable as possible. The respect they gave her was remarkable.
As soon as my Mum arrived at Banstead Manor Care Home, after having a stroke, we knew she was in safe hands. She was very apprehensive initially, but soon got to know the Staff and became confident that they were doing the very best for her. Mum spent 3 months at the Home and in that time, she became stronger, chatty once again and her sense of humour returned. She enjoyed the food and was always happy to pop into the Coffee Shop with family members, During her stay, it became a home from home and by the end of the 3 months, Mum had regained her confidence and was able to return home. I would just like to say a Big Thank You to all the Staff who made Mum's stay a very pleasant experience. We will be eternally grateful to Banstead Manor. They helped to make a very upsetting and distressing time a happy and stress free time.
The level of nursing care which my Father received was excellent. The local GP is excellent. Unfortunately, as he was bed bound, he could not take part in any of the social activities on offer, but, he really appreciated the comfort and kindness given to him. He was kept clean and always had freshly laundered clothing .The meals at Banstead Manor are carefully prepared and the home is kept cheerful and bright at all times.
Banstead Manor is a beautiful care home full of love and care. All the staff are amazing at caring for the residents to such a high standard. My mum has settled in very well and now regards this wonderful place as her home. She is happy, exceptionally well cared for and absolutely loves the fantastic food. It is so nice to see her participating in the wide range of activities. It's also great when we visit to sit in the Café area and have a coffee and cake. I now have peace of mind knowing that she is happy and safe in such inviting environment. This is all down to the wonderful staff to which I'd like to say a huge thank you. It is a pleasure walking into Banstead Manor and to be greeted with such friendly faces.
Banstead Manor Care Home is more like a luxury hotel than anything normally associated with a Care Home. The staff are always engaging with both the residents and the visitors and the level of care provided is excellent. The wide and varied range of activities is particularly impressive, engaging all of the residents from all of the communities. Overall, I am very impressed with Banstead Manor Care Home.
Came to see my nan for her birthday, the care home threw her a little party and got her gifts. It's a very family vibe they have their and always make the residents feel loved and special. This is an amazing care home and I would highly recommend them to everyone. They are amazing with the residents and always have activities going on for them and the families are always made to feel welcomed and involved with everything. It has a home from home feeling and I wouldn't want my nan anywhere else.
The home is lovely the staff go above and beyond for there residents and also are so so wonderful with my children when we come to visit my nan / my children's great nan. Thank you guys for everything you do we appreciate you.
My mum received 6 weeks of respite care in June and July 2024 after breaking her arm. Mum's care from all the staff at Banstead Manor was outstanding. We wanted the best care for Mum and I've no doubt we got it. Mum received 24-hour help at Banstead Manor, the team there made her as comfortable as possible. It helped our family knowing she was receiving the very best care. Thank you Banstead Manor for keeping all your promises.
My father's care has been exemplary. His needs and nursing have been to the highest standard. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful and attentive to any inquiries and questions and to the thorough care and guidance they give my father. My father's needs have increased dramatically during August and the staff have gone the extra mile in every way possible. My father is happy and considers himself very much at home. Giving us as a family peace of mind.
Banstead Manor is a special place. I visit an old friend regularly who has been a resident there for 18 months. His wife was there and died recently. I observed the care for both of them and I was continuously grateful for the standard of care she received. The staff-resident interaction is excellent with good entertainment and activities. Visiting is fun, tea and cakes. Friendly staff and residents make my visits a joy.
My mum has been at Banstead Manor for 2 years in November residing on Maple Mews. All Mum says is good things about Banstead Manor, myself included couldn't be happier with the care and all services provided for my mum. The social engagement mum loves she is well involved in all the activities and they all go above and beyond to support my mum. Would always recommend Banstead Manor.
Banstead Manor is a first class example to all care homes. This calibre of attention, concern, dedication and kindness towards the comfort of others is worth at least 10 stars! Everyone on the team from the receptionists, to catering staff, nurses, carers, cleaners and managers were always ready to listen to individual needs and did their utmost to follow through. Our family could not have found a better place for our elderly, ailing mother to spend her remaining months amidst their warm, gentle and friendly care. We are forever grateful.
My mother was a resident of Banstead Manor for three years up until her death in January 2024. She was extremely well cared for and very happy during those years. I can't fault any aspect of the care home. The staff are wonderful, caring, compassionate, and respectful and the residents are treated as individuals. The lifestyle team work tirelessly to ensure there is never a dull moment and no excuse is needed for a celebration of one kind to another. Our family felt part of the Banstead Manor family and feel sad that we no longer have Mum there, but know we are always welcome to go back!
My mum has been in Hallmark Banstead Manor for 3 years and in that time she has never once complained about any of the staff or her life in the home. However just after Christmas Mum suffered a stroke and was taken to hospital. The 'care' in the hospital was shockingly bad and we (my sister and myself) witnessed serious neglect with patients, particularly when they had no family at their side. We were reaching rock bottom emotionally till 2 wonderful care providers arrived from Banstead Manor and managed to arrange for Mum to return to her own comfortable room. I cannot describe the relief and happiness we felt. Absolutely everyone employed at Banstead Manor was wonderful. The care was second to none. They really seemed to love our mum and made sure she was comfortable, clean, and hydrated. They called in the nurse, the district team and the doctor when needed and her meds were adjusted accordingly. My sister and I were extremely well cared for too with constant offers of food and drink.
Very helpful and friendly staff. The room and facilities are always clean and the food is of a good standard. Activities are okay although not enough excursions outside of the residence. Night-time care sometimes feels short of expectations.
I cannot fault this home, the care my mother has received has been great. It's taken my mother a while to settle due to her dementia but all the care staff, the admin team and the manager have gone above and beyond to help settle, include her in all activities and care for her very patiently and kindly. The food is great, lots of variety and the home is clean and a lovely environment to live. Definitely recommend this home for your loved ones.
