I chose Montfort Manor having looked at a lot of local homes. As I arrived I was met by one of the residents sitting in reception enjoying a sherry mid afternoon. She still does this but with tea. The home has a friendly cafe with free cakes, savories to take your relatives and friends to. The care
is thoughtful, low changeover of staff who know their residents, they give my husband dignity. The rooms are cleaned and tided everyday there are very imaginative activities even for my husband who has dementia and the food for residents, always has a choice in every course. Good value for money.

My father moved into Montfort Manor in December 2025 following a hospital admission and when it became clear he was struggling at home.
Given that trying up find a suitable care home place at short notice is very difficult my wife and I found Niki very welcoming and helpful in starting the process.
Once Dad moved in, all of the staff from reception and administration staff to the clinical staff have been so helpful and put dad at ease and made him feel welcome.
It's taking a bit of time for Dad to get accustomed to his new setting but the staff have made that process a lot easier.
The home itself is so well looked after, it is always clean and tidy and also smells nice.
I can't thank all of the team highly enough.

After having had a very poor after care experience with the NHS I dedcided on two weeks respite at Montfort Manor. I feel I have made the right choice. Staff are very efficient, kind and considerate to all the residents no matter what condition they have have. Accomodation, food and entertainment,
excellent. Living in a complex of self catering flats I am certainly recommending a stay here to boost morale, confidence and well being should it every be needed.

Since moving into Montfort Manor, Mum is like a new person. She is happier than she has been in years. It is lovely to come and visit her and spend quality time with her, knowing she is being so well looked after. We are very impressed with all the activities that she takes part in.

On arriving, the friendly staff welcomed my husband and I. We were taken to my sisters room, and then we made our way back to the tea room.
Everyone we met were so nice and helpful. Thank you for looking after my sister. I have told about Monfort Manor to my friends. Outstanding all round.

My mothers last 8 days of life in this care home were far from satisfactory and the family should not have experienced what we did. I would suggest they give their staff training in end of life care.
Prior to this there were a lot of staff changes and perhaps they should have more training before
they are able to deal with the residents.

Its so nice to see how happy my nan is here. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Everyone is encouraged to join in activities including families at time helping keep moral high.

Staff and family of residents are always friendly and welcoming. Residents appear to enjoy their time here. The facilities are top tier and are very engaging. Very clean and tidy also.

All staff are very friendly and welcoming. The care my mum is receiving is wonderful, and when visiting you can see that she is well cared for. Cleanliness is of a high standard. Mum feels safe and comfortable and enjoys joining in the activities.

This was my first time visiting my nanny here. Very welcoming coming in, a cosy area to socialise as a family, and play games with nanny. A very clean area and facilities. Nanny looks so happy and better here. Thank you.

Staff were very welcoming upon arrival, they were courteous, helpful, polite and knowledgeable, a pleasure to meet. The facilities were superb, second to none, clean, serviceable, available, and this helped to create the excellent atmosphere and environment where care, concern and comfort of the
residents was obviously the main priority, food also superb, thank you!

I would like to thank the staff of MM for putting on an excellent birthday party and BBQ for my father as he celebrated his 90th birthday. As usual, the event was conducted with warmth and care. My sister and I (also his grandchidren) are *SO* happy with the way he is being treated.

Thank you to Montfort Manor's amazing staff, especially two staff members in particular, who arranged a fun summer fair with stalls, steam traction engine rides, excellent food (as always) and a dog show. Lots of happy people socialising with loved ones, making new friends and meeting people of all
generations. Nothing is too much trouble for your team and we had a great afternoon. Thank you for a happy memory made with Dad.

The staff and quality of care are exceptional. The staff are always so attentive to visitors and take pride in supporting your relatives. It's always great to see the interactions between other residents as well.

I cannot praise all the care home staff enough.
My Nanna went into this care home and ended up staying there for end of life care, all the staff were so kind to both my Nan and to all of the family at this hard time. You can tell the staff there really care about the residents.

My mother aged 97 was admitted to Monford Manor in June, unfortunate due to failing health she passed away 3 weeks later. Throughout this traumatic time for our family, all the staff at Montford Manor could not have been more caring & supportive - looking after mum with care& dignity, but also
looking after us too. Everyone at Montford Manor was so kind - offering help & and support during these very sad times. The Manager went above & beyond to provide every possible help we needed, the nursing staff were fantastic & devoted to helping mum in her last days, and the Head Nurse was a god send , always happy to give us her time, kind words & advice. I personally would have been able to get through this without her & will be forever thankful to her. I have no hesitation in recommending Montford Manor to anyone who needs a care home. The whole place is so peaceful & staff so caring. This is what all care homes should look like & aspire to be.

My uncle moved into Montfort Manor Care Home in December 2025. He has dementia, with the staff being excellent in dealing with his needs. The complete set-up is very professional, with the staff being very caring and managing to maintain a smile at all times. Recently, my uncle has had a few falls,
and staff have been brilliant in managing, reviewing and adjusting his mobility needs. The home maintains a high standard of care, and we are pleased to recommend it to others who find they need to find a care home.

I had history with MONFORT as my husband had spent numerous respite periods here. When I needed respite after surgery, there was no question, Montfort was where I needed to be
All was as I had anticipated, care, surrounding, staff, everything above and beyond 5* rating. I would not hesitate to
recommend this care home to anyone seeking the best care for themselves or for a loved one. Additionally, during my respite after surgery, I had time to observe how patients/clients were treated/ cared for by staff. I was impressed by and in fact moved to tears, by the gentleness, respect and consideration shown to patients/clients. Above and beyond!!
Thank you all for the care, support and kindness shown to me during my stay.

I found the staff at Montfort manor very approachable and willing to help and always considering the needs of my mother whilst in respite care at the home.
The facilities at this care home were clean,tidy and always available such as the cinema room and the garden was a welcome release for my
mother in order to recover whilst in respite care.
