View Full Details of Montfort ManorI would like to thank the staff of MM for putting on an excellent birthday party and BBQ for my father as he celebrated his 90th birthday. As usual, the event was conducted with warmth and care. My sister and I (also his grandchidren) are *SO* happy with the way he is being treated.
Thank you to Montfort Manor's amazing staff, especially two staff members in particular, who arranged a fun summer fair with stalls, steam traction engine rides, excellent food (as always) and a dog show. Lots of happy people socialising with loved ones, making new friends and meeting people of all generations. Nothing is too much trouble for your team and we had a great afternoon. Thank you for a happy memory made with Dad.
The staff and quality of care are exceptional. The staff are always so attentive to visitors and take pride in supporting your relatives. It's always great to see the interactions between other residents as well.
I cannot praise all the care home staff enough. My Nanna went into this care home and ended up staying there for end of life care, all the staff were so kind to both my Nan and to all of the family at this hard time. You can tell the staff there really care about the residents. A special thank you to Niki Young who went above and beyond to help our family.
My mother aged 97 was admitted to Monford Manor in June, unfortunate due to failing health she passed away 3 weeks later. Throughout this traumatic time for our family, all the staff at Montford Manor could not have been more caring & supportive - looking after mum with care& dignity, but also looking after us too. Everyone at Montford Manor was so kind - offering help & and support during these very sad times. The Manager went above & beyond to provide every possible help we needed, the nursing staff were fantastic & devoted to helping mum in her last days, and the Head Nurse was a god send , always happy to give us her time, kind words & advice. I personally would have been able to get through this without her & will be forever thankful to her. I have no hesitation in recommending Montford Manor to anyone who needs a care home. The whole place is so peaceful & staff so caring. This is what all care homes should look like & aspire to be.
My uncle moved into Montfort Manor Care Home in December 2025. He has dementia, with the staff being excellent in dealing with his needs. The complete set-up is very professional, with the staff being very caring and managing to maintain a smile at all times. Recently, my uncle has had a few falls, and staff have been brilliant in managing, reviewing and adjusting his mobility needs. The home maintains a high standard of care, and we are pleased to recommend it to others who find they need to find a care home.
I had history with MONFORT as my husband had spent numerous respite periods here. When I needed respite after surgery, there was no question, Montfort was where I needed to be All was as I had anticipated, care, surrounding, staff, everything above and beyond 5* rating. I would not hesitate to recommend this care home to anyone seeking the best care for themselves or for a loved one. Additionally, during my respite after surgery, I had time to observe how patients/clients were treated/ cared for by staff. I was impressed by and in fact moved to tears, by the gentleness, respect and consideration shown to patients/clients. Above and beyond!! Thank you all for the care, support and kindness shown to me during my stay.
I found the staff at Montfort manor very approachable and willing to help and always considering the needs of my mother whilst in respite care at the home. The facilities at this care home were clean, tidy and always available such as the cinema room and the garden was a welcome release for my mother in order to recover whilst in respite care.
Excellent care and facilities. Very good and caring staff with respect to my spouse, who was resident for 20 months, now sadly deceased at the home in December.
I am incredibly grateful for the exceptional care and attention my mother receives. From the moment we first visited, we felt welcomed by the friendly and professional staff. The facility is warm, inviting, and impeccably maintained, creating a comfortable and homely environment that puts residents and their families at ease. The staff at Montford Manor goes above and beyond to ensure my mother's needs are met. They are always responsive, kind, and patient, treating each resident with respect and dignity. I'm especially impressed by the personalized care plans tailored to each individual, which ensure that my mother's needs are always addressed. Additionally, residents' activities and social programs offer various engaging and fun options. Montford Manor has exceeded our expectations in every way. Knowing that my mother is in capable and compassionate hands brings our family peace of mind.
We are 100% satisfied with our mother's experience as a resident at Montfort Manor. We are confident that the care she receives is kind and professional. Her surroundings are of a very high standard and meals are exceptionally good. The lifestyle team goes above and beyond with varied activities and the atmosphere is always easy and welcoming. Communication is easy and response to any questions is immediate, would thoroughly recommend.
It was a difficult decision to move Dad into residential care but it became impossible to keep him at home as his dementia progressed. The staff guided me carefully through this process and at all times have been wonderfully helpful and welcoming. Dad settled well and every effort was made to incorporate him into the home community. The family and I feel that he was looked after very well and the care and respect with which he and we were looked after as he left us was immeasurably kind at a very difficult time. Thank you.
After breaking her leg badly just before Christmas 2024, my mother spent two weeks after her stay in hospital to begin her recovery. I can't thank all your staff enough for all the professional and friendly care you provided.
Montfort Manor has been brilliant with my dad. His care is second to none and he's always been happy there. The staff are really caring and friendly. As a family, we know dad is cared for and loved which makes us all relax and have no worries.
Relative has been at the care home for four months. Not yet fully settled and worries about being taken away. Staff very helpful and reassuring. Good choice of food at meal times and nice coffee machine in the ground floor cafe.
Like a 4* hotel. Excellent services, hairdresser, cinema room, cafe, bar, staff are very friendly and proud of the care home. Food is good and residents are encouraged to eat in the restaurant, tablecloths and proper glasses. Very much recommended. My mum is happy there and said she never wanted to go into a care home. She is also being encouraged to join in with activities.
My father has been living at Montfort for 10 months and during this time he has been looked after and his every need has been catered for. The enrichment to his life has been exemplary with the lifestyle team providing many varied activities during each single week allowing him to enjoy his twilight years.
I am extremely happy with all the nurses and carers who care/support my sister with her needs and she is treated with dignity. The rooms - bedrooms, lounge, dining room, cafe are always 100% clean and tidy - excellent domestics. The laundry staff are brilliant, ensuring all the washing is complete quickly and returned to the owner. The chefs and kitchen staff are amazing and all the meals are cooked to the highest standard, and very tasty/filling. The managers, receptionists, hairdresser, maintenance guys, gardener and team leaders are fantastic.
My husband went to Montford Manor for three weeks of respite in September. He was looked after extremely well and suffering only mild dementia was able to take part in many of the activities. He enjoyed the wonderful meals and visits from family. Unfortunately, the previous diagnosis of a threat problem began to manifest itself and he deteriorated rapidly, eventually passing away. I cannot fault the care he had, it was second to none. Everyone couldn't have been kinder.
The staff were always friendly and cheerful.
