My mother was in Avon Valley for 41/2 years and was cared for with dignity + compassion to the very end. The team supported me + my family with end of life care ensuring a dignified end of life. We cannot thank enough the caring team, housekeeping team, chefs + front of house staff. All are kind,
compassionate + make Avon Valley a 'home' for residents.

My mum Mo resided at Avon Valley for the last couple of years and we visited multiple times each week. During that time, she has been extremely well looked after. The staff are exceptionally professional, friendly, kind and caring and overall provide a first class service.
I have always found the
home clean, tidy and well-run. There is an overriding caring attitude to everything they do. My Mother wouldn't want to of been anywhere else. Thank you.

The care, compassion and standard of love and attention my late mother received was exemplary. From the moment my mother became a resident, she was made to feel at home, and the staff did everything possible to make her stay as enjoyable and fun. Everything about this home is excellent, and my
family cannot thank them enough for what they did.

My dad was moved to Avon Valley in the middle of July on discharge from hospital after a history of falling.
Avon Valley had been recommended to me and I can honestly say it has been the best decision for both dad & myself after months of uncertainty of finding a good & safe place for him to stay.
All the staff, from the carer's to the management team, the receptionists and everyone working there are absolutely amazing. They are all so caring and patient with the residents and the whole place has a truly welcoming atmosphere.
From the moment you walk into the reception area you can feel that this place is a place where the residents are happy to be! My dad's room is really lovely with an ensuite bathroom & views out to the front gardens with a small patio area.
He is at last comfortable and being cared for in the manner that anyone having to go into a care home should receive and I would 100% recommend Avon Valley Care Home as a choice for a loved one to be placed.

Mum has been a resident for 6 months and I am very happy with the care she receives. The staff are so lovely, friendly and very caring. I feel that Mum is safe and well looked after.
The wellbeing member of staff is excellent and provides a great variety of activities and entertainment for the
residents.
The home is clean and well maintained and any issues are resolved quickly.
Mum is generally happy there and I believe this is the best place for her.

I am so happy and satisfied with the excellent care received by my sister-in-law in this care home. They are so caring, thoughtful and make everyone feel special. My sister-in-law asked me why didn't she go there sooner.

Cannot fault the care home at all. Staff always polite, friendly, always willing to help if needed. Lovely atmosphere in the care home and with management always polite and helpful. My mum is really happy here. Always something going on with activities which is really good. Even when my mum was ill
the staff were really good, nice to know my mum is in good hands and don't need to worry.

Lovely staff and facilities. Lots of activities are ongoing. Sometimes basic care could be improved eg old flowers left in the room, personal care/skin care. Think this is due to staffing numbers.

The care home and the staff are excellent and my sister who is a resident is very happy and relaxed living in the home.

The home is overall good - clean rooms, friendly staff.
More variety of activities would be beneficial to residents.
Better communication between staff and family members needs to be addressed.

Vintage cars - Well organised event, the staff are super helpful and enjoyed by my aunt, good interactive chats by organisers explaining all about the cars. These types of events are always enjoyable and get the residents out of their rooms for a change.

There isn't a bad word I can say about Avon Valley, my grandmother is so happy and content here. She has received such fantastic care. All the staff are so lovely and kind. We as a family absolutely love the time and planning that goes into the enrichment activities done with residents. Grandma
especially loved dancing and singing along to the olds.

Our aunt moved here in February 2024 and from the initial visit when we looked around it just felt like the right place for her. She continually reassures us 7 months in that she's happy and couldn't ask for a better place to be. The staff are simply amazing, demonstrating a high standard of care
and professionalism at all times. They are friendly and welcoming and make us extremely confident the right choice was made for our aunt!

We moved my aunt into Avon Valley in February this year following her starting to struggle on her own. We had carers caring in twice a day but she had lost her sparkle. She took to the place immediately thanks to the brilliant staff and fantastic care given at Avon Valley. The staff, fellow
residents, and families we've met have all been lovely.
We can see how happy my aunt is again, her sparkle has definitely returned.

The facilities and activities are great, giving Mum plenty to do and join in with.
