HONEST REVIEW Putting my dad into care was easily the hardest decision I've ever made, however all of the staff here are exceptional and the manager is brilliant and very on point. My dad is very well looked after. He states everyday that he is well looked after and you can see and feel the genuine care from the staff here. Rooms and the building overall are exceptionally clean and well maintained (there is no awful smells). Food menu is varied and food looks fresh and appetising. The member of staff who does activities and crafts is an amazing woman who engages with all residents and her care and passion is second to none. Overall I am happy as my dad is happy they are all doing a great job at Beachcroft I could not be happier :-)

My mom has been living at Beachcroft House care Home for the past 2 years. I would like to thank staff for their patience, warmth, and joy they bring to my mom's days. I see the difference they make, not just in her care but in her peace of mind. They are truly a blessing to our family. I would also like to express my deepest gratitude for the exceptional care, compassion, and patience certain staff show my mom and our family each day. A special thanks to: four members of staff, in particular, cleaning staff (including the gentleman who washes the residents chairs and sofas), the staff who open the door for me when I arrive with my walker, the kitchen staff and the best management team I have ever know in my life and career. I keep telling the staff that they are not just caregivers- they are healers, companions, and everyday heroes. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Warmly,

I am very happy for my 83 year old partner to be at Beachcroft House. I can see she is well attended and looked after with warmth and kindness. She has been here for two months now. The staff always make me feel welcome when I come to visit her. I have started to feel as if I am one of their team with the common aim of looking after our special lady. I always get a polite response to any question I may ask. I would say Beachcroft House is very well run. It is a credit to the management and staff. It is mightily reassuring for me and other family members that our loved one is in such a good environment. Thank you.

I visited my sister who is a service user at Beachcroft l I visit many care homes as part of my occupation as a fire safety consultant and can compare Beachcroft with many other care homes within the UK. Beachcroft is exceptional for the standards of love, care and attention which is delivered by all the staff. Firstly, I am very impressed by the fire and security standards within this recently built care home. On arrival I was made feel very welcome by the receptionist who indicated in signing in process on th pad at the entrance. I met with my sister who was looking very well and relaxed and talkative , her room was clean and well maintained. My sister appeared happy and content with the freedom to wander around within this beautiful and spaciously safe environment I met with the Registered Home Manager the during my visit and previous visits and found her to be very compentent with a kind and caring attitude and ensures all service users are given lots of love.

While visiting my mum I noticed the improvement in her behaviour. The staff were nice and the care home was clean, my mums room was clean it was just a nice atmosphere for her to be in. Although she has her ups and downs I'm happy she's in a safe environment.

The care home is excellent, with high standards throughout. This shows in the quality of food, the cleanliness and the overall quality of the facilities. The standards are high across the board, but the main factor is the quality of the staff- they really understand their jobs and take pride in their work. The activities are varied, and I was amazed by the quality of music and singing when I visited my aunt..

My grandfather has been receiving excellent care at Beachcroft House Care Home. The staff are attentive, kind, and always go the extra mile to ensure he is comfortable and well looked after. The facilities are clean, welcoming, and feel like home. It gives our family great peace of mind knowing he is in such good hands. Highly recommend!

While visiting my mother in law I witness the kindness, compassion and politeness shown to my mother in law. She was relaxed around and the team Leader was absolutely amazing. She had fantastic communication and interpersonal skills and she listened attentive to everything my mother in law said she also allowed her to talk without interrupting which I felt was very important. My mother in laws room was clean, tidy, and she wore clean clothes and the home was clean. The manager was extremely friendly and polite and was opened to suggestions when discussing about my mother inlaw. I could see that my mother in law trusted staff members and they were honest with her. When my mother in law had to have her naturalisation done they were happy with her having it in the care home which was very convenient due to her health. Although I did not attend the videos they sent were amazing they went above and beyond to make her feel comfortable. Thank you to the staff they are amazing.

I found the care home to be one of the best the staff were all friendly the premises were spotless My friend was happy and extremely content. What a beautiful place . Myself and my friends family visited our friend for his birthday he was given a beautiful cake and snacks to share with myself his daughter, son-in-law, grand children and ex wife. He had an amazing time doing what he loves dancing with staff family and friends.

My 97year-old mother spent four weeks of respite care here. Staff were consistently very kind and caring as well as extremely patient with her, particularly as initially she was rather confused by her new surroundings. The atmosphere was always very relaxed and it contributed to a calm and pleasant environment. My mother's room and en-suite bathroom, as well as the communal areas were well appointed and always clean. As a family, we were very happy with the experience and the care my mother received. Heartfelt thanks to all the wonderful staff.

From the moment you walk-in the door until you leave, this place treats you like gold!! I have never been in a place where I've felt so welcome by so many people; from reception, to the people you walk by. I hadn't been since before the pandemic and they greeted me by name when I walked into the office. Can't say enough good things about them. I've been in so many care homes but this one is highly recommended.

I wasn't sure what to expect and was a little concerned. However, I was absolutely delighted with the care and thoughtfulness of the staff and the cleanliness of the room and en-suite bathroom. I am relieved that my sister-in-law is being cared for so well. In addition, the staff are really helpful when asked questions.

This was my mother's third respite at Beechcroft House Care Home, the manager and her team are always very kind and helpful. My mother is 99 and living with dementia, they are very skilled at managing her mood swings and I know that she is in very good caring hands.

As always, everyone was friendly and helpful. As I haven't seen my father for a while I am happy that he is in a comfortable situation and stage of his life. Although he is not very communicative I have managed to have some short words from him. It seems to me he is OK. I would like to thank the team for their effort to make my father comfortable.

Beachcroft House Care Home honestly was the best place for our mother. Our mother loved it there, she was very well looked after. The activities were well chosen and she loved them. The home itself is clean and well-maintained. The staff also are very caring and insightful.

This was the first time visiting the care home and had travelled a long way so was happy when finally arrived. The receptionist was very helpful explaining the entry procedure of signing in, also acknowledged by asking if I'd phoned ahead of coming which was nice as I had had some queries about parking. We were taken to the appropriate floor and directed where to go and whom to speak to. The home looked bright, clean, spacious and new with music playing in the restroom for the residents which was enlightening. It was nice to see the support staff members sitting with the residents and being attentive to their needs and able to answer my general questions. The nurses and support staff all made us feel welcome and we were offered a cup of tea and biscuits which we shared with our family member for which we were very grateful. From this visit, I feel happy and confident that we will visit again.

Mum was a resident from May 2022 to yesterday, when she unfortunately lost her battle with dementia. The staff at Shirland Road are Angels in my book, from the manager to the cleaners and everyone in between. Both Mum and my family have always been listened to, accommodated and treated with dignity and respect, family more than carers. Words will never be enough. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. People make the facility and here they have the best. The last 2 years of Mum's life were made easier and happier because of all of you and we as a family will forever be grateful. Thank you.

I am very impressed with the staff who are without any exception outstanding. I have the feeling that my mother is in a safe and secure environment and where all her needs are met. I receive regular updates from the team leader or management which makes me more at ease at puts my mind at rest. All in all, Beachcroft is the best thing that could happen to Mum.

Very secure reception, you need to check in with name/email. Very wide clean communal corridors. Modern build, observed photos of residents ion entering, and notices of activities. Staff professional, friendly. Service user very comfortable in room provided, spacious with en-suite. Mentioned having tea at a hotel. Service user reminded by member of staff lunch was been served. Overall very good experience
