View Full Details of Cheadle Manor Care CentreI visit a resident in Cheadle Manor and am always offered a welcome from the staff whilst operating the good check in/out system at reception. Car parking as is usual in such places is always tricky. The friend I visit is reasonably happy and seems well looked after. My late wife being disabled (MS for many years) I've seen a good many care homes and consider Cheadle Manor as one of the best.
Our mum stayed at Cheadle Manor Care Home to receive Palliative Care under the NHS Continuing Healthcare scheme following discharge from hospital. She had Stage 4 Cancer. Everything about the Care Home was an absolute delight. Her initial instinct was that she would have preferred to be at her own home but she soon settled thanks to the caring, kind and respectful staff who made sure that she was as comfortable as she could be during her stay. She has sadly gone now but one of her final words to me was to say thank you for helping to get her the place at Cheadle Manor.
My mother moved into Cheadle Manor for end of life care, I can not praise the staff enough. Nothing was to much trouble and the respect and dignity everyone gave to my mother was outstanding and professional right to the end. The support given to the family was caring and compassionate. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Cheadle Manor. Five stars all the way! Keep smiling and doing what you all do, love and care for each resident as if they were your own. Thank you.
It's a very difficult process when looking for a care home for your loved ones. You consider the physical and emotional care that is needed, how they might develop connections with the team looking after them and the activities that are offered. Cheadle Manor and the team working there surpassed my expectations. My Grandmother is very well cared for, each individual has taken the time to get to know her and nothing is too much trouble. Her room is lovely and the communal areas are very welcoming.
Can't say enough about the nursing and care provided. My husband is so well looked after and cared for. The home is run very efficiently by all the staff, from domestics, wellbeing, carers and nursing staff. The reception is always manned in daytime hours, and security is well supported and maintained, keeping residents safe!
I would like to say that the nicest feeling is to be able to leave and know that your loved ones are so well cared for. The staff go above and beyond for Grandma, they treat her like the special lady she is.
My 101-year-old grandma is currently living at Cheadle Manor and I couldn't recommend it more. The staff are absolutely brilliant, kind and always go above and beyond to make sure she feels comfortable, safe, and cared for. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and it's clear that everyone genuinely cares about the residents. Thank you to all the amazing team members, you are superstars x
Mum has been at Cheadle Manor since February 2024, and in all that time she has been looked after and cared for by every single member of staff...She's celebrated both her 100th and 101st birthdays during this time and both were made to be very special.. Thank you everyone
My husband was a resident for just over a year with several hospital admissions during that time. Last October, he was given end-of-life care at Cheadle Manor with people caring for him who had become like an extended family. They were attuned to all his needs including banter and 'funnies' they exchanged, which had become a major part of his life there over the past year and they always made me feel welcome and part of Cheadle Manor life too.
A true pleasure and a very placid, accommodating atmosphere, nothing seems to be any trouble little moments of magic still occur which is a grace of good will toward all those that have been supportive, so grateful, a laugh and smile can be had. Hands of praise and God.
A heartfelt thank you for all the care and kindness you have given to my Aunty during her recent stay at Cheadle Manor. Everything has been '5 star' - The care, staff, accommodation, food, activities programme - A super big thank you to you all.
Cheadle Manor is an excellent home for a loved one who needs care to be. All staff are very caring to residents, treat them with respect and make them feel both welcome and valued. The home itself is very clean with bright and airy rooms all with en-suite facilities. A purpose-built lounge and dining room on all 3 floors, plus plenty of high-quality food is available for everyone. I thoroughly recommend Cheadle Manor to all.
My dad was admitted for 2 weeks respite to Cheadle Manor Care Centre. The manager came to our house with a member of the nursing staff to meet Dad prior to admission. They were kind, respectful and caring when dealing with both myself and my dad. His admission was seamless and calm, he met all the staff who were very caring. We ended up extending his stay to 20 days. The care was excellent, as were the rooms and meals. Would highly recommend.
Everything about the care home is perfect. The staff can't do any more to make my mum and dad happy in there. The food is excellent, all the activities are really good. Nothing seems like it is too much trouble for the staff from the moment you walk through the door.
Staff treated residents as individuals and were kind and attentive. They encouraged participation in activities but respects the wishes of the resident. Not only were the staff warm and welcoming to the residents, they were with visitors too. The management team were accessible and supportive, especially when care needs changed and we really appreciated this. Thank you.
Whenever I have visited Cheadle Manor, I have found staff, nurses and management team to be superb in all regions. They are attentive and nothing is too much trouble. There is no smell or odour which often occurs in nursing homes. I submit top marks in all options.
I visit the care home on a regular basis for those who want pastoral visits or otherwise. In the recent past it was also for my mother-in-law. I have nothing but the deepest respect for all who work there. Their care for residents is exceptional.
My friend has been here since June 2024. She was initially a little apprehensive after living in her own home for over 69 years. However, all the staff have made her feel very welcome. Her room is lovely, clean, bright and comfortable. There is a lovely atmosphere here. Lots of activities to join in with. Excellent trips out for residents. Meals are catered for every taste. Such a pleasure to visit. Carers are very professional, experienced, kind and show compassionate for all residents. They treat all with dignity and respect. All members of staff work as a good team and support each other well. Well being assistant have time to spend with residents and make everyday enjoyable and fun. An excellent place for my friend to call home. Thank you
