View Full Details of Little Manor Care CentreMy reception on arrival from the hospital under the NHS for rehab after a broken femur was efficient and welcoming. I found all the care staff very attentive and easy to get on with both in the day and at night. The therapy team quickly worked out a programme for me and made sure I followed it. Without their support I would not have progressed as quickly as I did. Most of the rooms are full of light and the whole atmosphere I felt was encouraging.
On the day I was admitted to Little Manor, I was made very welcome. The carers and all the staff were very kind nothing was too much trouble, I was treated well by all of them. The physios were kind and helpful and encouraging with helping me to walk again with a zimmer frame. The meals were well cooked and enjoyable. I must admit I could not have been treated any better. Thank you.
Mum was transferred from Salisbury hospital after falling and breaking her hip. The care mum received from the staff has been excellent, they are all helpful and very kind. Her room was big, clean and bright. Although mum did not make any progress with the physio, this was not down to the staff's effort and encouragement. Although names of staff are not to be included, there are a few that have been outstanding and it would have been nice to recognise them.
The stay was very comfortable. Room very clean.Staff excellent and looked after me very well.
The staff were excellent - kind, friendly and helpful. The food was variable - considering how little money they spend on each person each day but the egg, cookery left a little to be desired the omelet was rubbery and the scrambled eggs too hard. The sponge pudding were excellent. It was a shame that the menu was so repeated each week as many of us were there for more than a week. The method of entry to the home for visitors led to much frustration as it relied on someone being there to answer the call bell.
I have been very happy here at Little Manor The staff have been so kind + professional. Sad to be leaving. Food excellent.
I have been very comfortable here. The room was a lovely surprise, new and clean with on suite showeroom. The staff are all very kind. Nothing is too much for them. The care they took of me surprised me. I had a very painful back so they found me a very comfortable reclining chair, which really helped. The food on the whole was very good, the only thing they could improve on, was the vegetables, some were dry and tasteless.
My dad had a fall at home and after spending 2 weeks in hospital went to Little Manor for respite as he was too weak to go home. From day 1 the staff were so kind and caring and when Dad went home he was stronger than before his fail. This was down to the staff at Little Manor and we cannot thank them enough for looking after our dad.
We had a lovely welcome from the staff at the door. Little Manor is a lovely establishment, very clean, big rooms. The meals cannot be bettered, nice choice of meals. Staff really. friendly.
My overall experience has been excellent and it has given me the confidence to return home and eventually back to work.
Very pleased with the help and support from all staff. Very nice to have friendly and smiling staff.
I could not find fault with anything. It was a pleasure to stay there.
My stay was very pleasant. The room was clean and had excellent facilities. The staff were welcoming and informative. All the carers were very attentive, but due to language difficulties, it was sometimes difficult to understand one another. All the staff, from cleaners, care staff, physios & OT, plus the medical staff, were professional and caring. Although names are not to be included, two care staff were exceptional.
I have been away from home for seven weeks following my accident in April. Four of those weeks have been at Little Manor Home. I wish now to express my sincere gratitude for the wonderful care I have received here. I was in a dark place when I arrived, and gradually, I have improved daily thanks to the constant care and encouragement I have received lately. Going out on the patio with others has helped me too in the sunshine.
My husband has been looked after very well and I am amazed how brilliant it is that you have got his mobility so good. Thank you all so very much, I am grateful to everyone.
cleanliness + hygiene poor huge portions of food - a lot of waste some staff good and caring, others rough and uncaring
Overall my rehab at Little Manor was excellent. Staff were friendly and very caring. On discharge even though I was sound of mind, I was rushed in my decision of care to come home. My children's worries were not taken into consideration and at 92 years old + being fraile I wasn't thinking straight.
I found it was all satisfactory.
Comfortable, clean, very good and helpful members of staff.
Fabulous reception from staff & nothing was too much trouble, always a friendly staff available for any questions & my friend advised she doesn't know what she would have done without there full support & rehab therapy to enable her to go back home, which was her main goal. The place is so well kept & clean, this is how all care should be delivered, amazing!
