My mum arrived here just over 3 years ago. Very quickly, I noticed a positive change in her; she became engaged again with life, thanks to your amazing team at the home. This, for me, was a delight to see and confirmed that I had made the right (difficult) decision. Having visited many care homes
previously, I knew that this one felt right for my mum to make it her home. The home is much, much more than a showpiece. Whilst high standard of fixings, it is the staff who make this home stand out. They have all been kind to my mum and treated her and the family with dignity and respect right up to the sad end of my mum. Thank you everyone. I shall miss you.

All staff have been welcoming and friendly, including Mark who dealt with numerous pictures and a bookcase.
Dad has now really settled in and joining in lots of activities - which is lovely to see.
The food has been very nutritious with plenty of it.

I have found the Upton Bay Care Home provides a safe and secure environment for residents facilitating their care and assistance as required. They provide a "guardian angel service" throughout the night and the cheerful presence of all the staff helps to bridge the journey from their previous life
to their new home. Upton Bay Care Home provides an extremely caring and welcoming environment with daily activities. The management are always helpful and I have found them to keep the relatives updated as and when required.

All members of staff were absolutely lovely and welcoming. Mum, despite being bed bound towards the end, was always clean and tidy. There were plenty of activities available to the residents and family members. Mum was always treated with dignity. I am very grateful for the care she received.

Upton Bay provide a very friendly atmosphere in a tasteful luxury environment. All the staff are very curtious and take the trouble to interact with both residents and guests. There are well organised events and activities for the residents. The food and drinks provided are excellent and there is a
lovely private dining room/lounge for residents to spend time with their guests.

After a difficult and challenging year, my mother-in-law is happy, settled and content.
I am always impressed by all the staff members we have met. They have always been professional and treated us all with kindness and respect.
We are confident my mother in law is in good hands.

My sister was here for 2 1/2 years and received excellent care at all times. She always seemed contented. My thanks to all the staff.

The staff have been brilliant with Mum. She is very content. Have helped her settle. There are good activities to help entertain Mum. Staff have also been great at spending tim talking to Mum. Leadership at Upton Bay has been very helpful to me and the family, advising and helping us to understand
how to make sure Mum is content. Also keep us advised of Mum's needs.

Our Dad has been at Upton Bay recently. We visit very regularly. Dad has always been clean, impeccably dressed is very well cared for. The staff are so friendly and obviously really do care alot about Dads wellbeing. We are so happy he is here, and feel reassured he is definately in the right place.

I would highly recommend Upton Bay Care home. The care is excellent and the residents are made to feel part of an extended family. Recently, my mother-in-law celebrated her 90th Birthday, she was made to feel so special and enjoyed a slice of her amazing birthday cake.

The staff have been brilliant. Quickly getting to know Dad and his needs and likes and dislikes. Dad has only been at the home since 3/11/25. The food is excellent. The home is clean and homely. Everyone is very attentive. The manager is excellent and very approachable.

The staff are very kind and friendly. It's a lovely and clean Home. The place is bright and cheerful. My sister said she's very happy here. It was nice to be offered some tasty cake nad tea.

As a new comer to Upton Bay Care Home I have been very impressed by what I have seen so far and certainly my expectations have been met. I am pleased with the choice of care home made for my wife. All staff seem very dedicated and friendly, very suited to their roles and I think my wife is becoming
more settled in her new environment which provides her with a lot of flexibility that she needed.

Mum had been in Upton Bay for around three years and i could not have asked for a better place for her to be. the staff are all fabulous and looked after mum brilliantly even in her more difficult moments. Of all the tough decisions we had to make as she suffered with dementia, i am 100% confident
that we got this one right. super place with super people.
