View Full Details of Hepworth HouseMy mother in law has been at Hepworth for about 18months and we could not be happier. She really enjoys being here and the staff could not be nicer and kinder. Mum is always clean and dressed well and loves the food and refreshments. There is always entertainment and things for them to do. Other homes we visited seemed to just have residents sat looking bored and Mum is a very active person. She even joins in dusting and setting tables for dinner and it is the little things that make her feel valued and wanted. The staff numbers are good and they are all well trained. If there are ever any medical issues at things to worry about the staff are very proactive and the communication with the family is just right. Keep doing what you are doing.
My grandma came to Hepworth House for respite originally, following a couple of falls at home, but she is now a permanent resident here and I couldn't be happier. The staff are so lovely and they always update me with how she is doing. It's absolutely spotless, my grandma has a beautiful room and she is really well looked after. The staff genuinely care about her and nothing is too much trouble. Thank you to all the staff that have made my grandma feel so welcome!
My late mother resided here for just over 2 years. The staff employed in this home are excellent care givers and it was evident that my mum was genuinely loved and cared for. As a family we can only express our utmost thanks and appreciation to all those involved in caring for mum and ensuring her quality of life was as good as it could be. I would have no hesitation in recommending this home, it's rated outstanding and that is how I would describe the home, its staff and the quality of care that was delivered to my mum. THANK YOU
What a wonderful place this is. The staff are very kind & helpful. It's been a great experience to be here, and a very clean place. Well done, everyone.
This care residence is stunning. It's so friendly and absolutely spotless. The staff are caring and so sweet with the people. It left me feeling very pleased for our friend.
Hepworth House is a superb place for your loved ones to live. Extremely friendly and lots going on, activities, etc, should they wish to join in. My mum was one of the first in now in her 4th year, and all been happy years. Staff and care given is 100%. I couldn't wish for better.
The staff are brilliant at encouraging my mum to join in activities, which can be very difficult at times. When engaged in activities she really enjoys herself particularly singing and keep fit. Brilliant care home with committed staff.
Staff are good at ensuring my great grandma tries new things, recently taking her out for a coffee & dance. They provide entertainment inside that allows her to socialise, but without any pressure.
After visiting numerous care homes that looked after some of my elderly family, never have I ever been so impressed and astounded by every member of staff that work here at Hepworth House, my grandfather has immediately settled into living here and felt at ease from the start. The staff are beyond amazing and I have worked closely with care homes during my career, I love this place!
I received a warm welcome in reception & assistance in finding my friend's room and a vase for some flowers. It is fresh & spacious. My friend's room is also spacious & comfortable with a large bathroom, TV, fridge, etc & a view of the surrounding area. The lounge looks open & comfortable, with large windows looking into the garden. There is ample parking for visitors. I was very reasured to see what a comfortable, caring environment my friend is now living in. The staff were excellent, friendly, polite and helpful.
The staff and management do an amazing job in difficult circumstances. There are some really nice touches for visitors, coffee and cake etc. Since HC1 took over Mum thinks the food budget has been cut and says the meat/fish element of meals is meagre. The majority of staff go above and beyond - listening to any problems or worries and are quick to try and resolve any issues.
I found this home myself and chose to live here. peaceful, helpful, nice home, lovely home, lovely food, nice view from my room.
Immaculate, bright, clean and spacious with a friendly, warm atmosphere. Just like home should be for those living here ! The staff are professional and caring and this shows in the way they engage and support everyone with a smile, resident, relative or visitor. My Dad moved into Hepworth House in 2023 for help with his Parkinsons and Dementia and he was cared for by the team with great kindness and compassion until he left us all recently. Mum is also a resident and it is reassuring knowing she is safe and happy making new friends and taking part in activities and events. Thank you everyone at Hepworth House.
Always made to feel welcome, the staff are happy and attentive and cannot do enough to make you feel welcome. Any issue/concern raised is dealt with quickly and resolved.

My friend still visits Hepworth to say hello.
Lovely place to visit my mum. She has got some lovely company around her, it's a pleasure to talk to all the staff, residents and their familys. Some nice activities for all the family to join in and enjoy with mum.
My Mum has been a resident for 9 months and has received the most warm and kind care from the excellent staff at Hepworth. I visit Mum a lot and have to liaise with different staff in various areas of the care home depending on what information I require about Mum's care. All staff go out of their way to help and support not only Mum, but me too. Mum also has fun with staff as well as being supported when not feeling her best. Thank you to all of Hepworth Staff for being professional, kind and caring.
My mum thought all the staff were wonderful, very helpful and friendly. Our only criticism would be that the bed linen could be ironed, and the pillows needed replacing. All our family would like to thank all the staff at Hepworth House for looking after Mum so well.
My mother-in-law absolutely loves residing here at Hepworth House. No matter what time of day we come to see her, both she and other residents are well cared for. The activities are great. Staff are always happy which shows how much they enjoy working here. The care given is outstanding. My mother-in-law expresses how much she loves living here. She has dementia / Alzheimers, so we needed to ensure that where she was going to have to move to, had to be outstanding. We found that at Hepworth House.
