My in-laws are residents at Florence Court Barchester care home, Segensworth nr Fareham The home is lovely very clean and has a very high standard. The staff are all very welcoming and helpful. My in-laws are very happy at the care home and say how much they feel very well looked after, I can only
echo their words. The facilities and lounge areas are beautiful & nicely furnished And they have met some very nice new friends

My grandmother has been at this care home for over two years. She has had amazing care and has looked after very well. Facilities are amazing and clean and staff are friendly and welcoming. would recommend to anyone looking into staying at Florence Court.

This is a lovely care home .lovely staff .it's a relief to me and my family to know mum is so well looked after . Food is good and nothing is too much trouble. If mum decides to stay here I know she will be well looked after

Florence court care home is more like a five star hotel and would l would definitely recommend it. The staff go 100% and even more and nothing is too much effort.
All reception staff, carers & administration staff are fantastic. My mother has been here since August and has really settled in and she
calls this home and she loves all the staff , they are very warm & friendly and nothing is too much trouble.
The administrative staff are very quick to inform me if there are any concerns or changes so l feel very happy and comfortable in the knowledge that my mother is being well looked cared for in a very warm and welcoming environment.

My mum moved into Florence Court at the end of May, but sadly, we are taking our mum out of Florence Court this weekend. There have been 3 separate incidents that have not been acceptable. The floor that my mum is on has completely deflated, overworked staff. Having said that, they were all lovely
and extremely dedicated and caring.
We are moving our mum to a smaller, independent care home.
Taking the decision to move mum into full time care was extremely difficult, and sadly we have felt very let down and have lost all ttrust with Florence Court.

I cannot speak highly enough of the staff at Florence Court. I viewed 10 care homes before deciding on Florence Court. I wish it had been the first, not the tenth!
Through an extremely challenging time the staff guided us, my mum and me, through all the challenges we faced, with compassion and
great professionalism.

Day in, day out, the staff at "Flo Court" cannot do enough for grandad and the family, including our dogs!
The carers really feel like part of the family and are always there to answer any questions, lend a helping hand, or even have a nice chat about grandad's youth. We are all very comfortable
with Grandad living here and particularly looking forward to his 101st birthday celebrations being hosted here by the lovely team. I cannot express my gratitude enough for all the care and attention.

My grandmother moved in, in November 2022, and passed away at the end of November 2025. Those last three years were just so much more than we could have wished for, for her. Moving in was difficult as she had been exceptionally anxious in her own home with 24h care, but it was no longer safe for
her. The Florence Court team understood her worries and in a short time she settled amazingly well. We expected her to last six months but the food, care, calming environment and compassion given have been second to none. Nothing was too much trouble, they always in touch with us about her mishaps and health issues, and we always felt 100% sure she was in the best hands. Towards the end the carers spent hours, days even, with her, talking to her and ensuring she was calm, rested and pain free. She passed in the most dignified, peaceful setting and we could not have asked for more for her. So a huge thank you the entire team, for supporting us and making her life enriched, safe and calm.

Care home management are all welcoming and attentive to individual and group needs. Facilities are exceptional, the lounge is comfortable, light and airy and is ideal for the social and musical group events for which I volunteer. I have based my review below on the public areas used and observations
made of staff, management and visitor interactions only.

Our Mother has been living at Florence Court, a fantastic care home in Segensworth. From the time we walked through the door to the welcome from the absolutely amazing staff we loved it and felt it was going to be the perfect place for our Mother to live in. The bedrooms are beautifully finished,
very spacious with unsuite,
The lounges are again beautifully furnished encouraging visitors and residents to sit very comfortably looking into the garden.The bistro is 'open' next to the main lounge where one can have coffee, tea, juices and delicious homemade cakes for residents and visitors. A lovely sunny garden with lots of table and chairs perfect for relaxing in. The entertainment itinerary is well planned with various activities.We are incredibly impressed with the wonderful staff who lovingly care for their residents which is paramount to their health, welfare and happiness. We can't praise them enough and highly recommend this amazing care home and know Mother is safe and happy.

Very welcoming and friendly and accommodating and helpful. Always friendly faces and has a calm atmosphere with quiet efficiency. The decor is very good as is the general upkeep. The staff are always checking if they can help us.

Thank you to all who looked after Ted, he got on well with the staff who treated him kindly and for their cheerful approach. Room very comfortable, food very good and served in delightful dining room. There were lots of interesting nooks where he could sit quietly and not be confined in a large room
with lots of other residents. Thank you for making the experience of leaving him with you than I expected and giving me time to recharge my batteries to carry on.

My mum has been in Florence Court since May and has settled in really well. She was very apprehensive when she first arrived understandably, but soon made friends and joined in with activities and had a couple of trips out for a cuppa or an ice cream. She has since moved up to memory lane and is as
happy as ever. She loves the staff and constantly thanks them for all that they do for her. We are so happy that she enjoying her time at Florence Court. It is a beautiful home, spotlessly clean and very modern and welcoming. The staff are always welcoming and very kind.

Whenever I go into Florence Court, I'm always impressed by the plush interiors, calm environment, smiley and welcoming members of staff and that's all staff, from the Office team to the Care team, to the kitchen team. Florence Court is a great place that caters for all residents with respect,
dignity and care. There is great attention to detail and interaction amongst both the staff and residents to accommodate individual needs/likes which is what any Daughter would want for her Parent. There are many activities to dip in and out of and all tge team are receptive and open to ideas. Thank you for all that you do.

Great afternoon visiting with other members of my Men's Shed to play card games, etc with some of the residents. We were well looked after with tea, coffee and cake (mmmm!). Lovely room, friendly staff and comfortable furniture. Great afternoon was had by all.

Luxury care home with exceptional staff, so happy that my mum was given the best of care before her passing. She loved having fun at the disco, infact that was the last photo we have of her. A big thank you to the general manager and her team.

Well..what can I say ..this has been beyond my expectations.. mum came to stay for a respite 2weeks while we went on holiday. She loved it so much that she wanted to stay as a resident. She has got company now of her own age..outings and activities all week. Honestly if you could ask for a five
star hotel service/accommodation together with very kind and loving staff for your loved one..you couldn't get better. One member of staff, in particular, was amazing..there is nothing she wouldn't do . I'm sorry I am gushing but I'm so impressed and so happy for my mum..she's got her sparkle back ..thank you
Beautifully decorated rooms, lounges on each floor, dining on each floor, beautiful dining rooms with a variety of lovely meal choices every day..roof terrace, bar and gorgeous gardens. If you had a wish list of what you wanted for your loved one..well this is it..

Enjoyable stay at Florence Court. Lovely accommodation - warm comfortable room. I felt well cared for - attentive staff, some, in my view, outstanding! My only disappointment was the occasional meal. Overall, would recommend if you want to stay somewhere that feels more like a hotel, but with the
care and security.

From our first meeting with the home service advisor which was so professional the process has been extremely smotth. Mum has settled very quickly and views Florence Court as home.
She has quickly made friends and will join in some activities. The staff always involved and encourage her and her
confidence is growing. We love the feel of the home, all the staff are great and show real interest in the family.
