Staff are friendly and always on hand. Caring atmosphere. Fun too!!

I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. I have worked in the care profession most of my working life, and this facility is by far the best I have come across. The staff can never do enough for you. There is so much always going on. There is the cinema, 2 bars, hairdressers, nail staff, massage and
therapy, coffee shop, outings, and a beautiful garden. It is literally like a hotel, and everyone is happy.

My overall experience in Midford Manor (respite care for a few weeks) was superb. The atmosphere was warm and inclusive, especially for people expecting to be in the latter stages of their lives. The food, activities and facilities were designed to be accessible to a full range of tastes and
abilities. The staff seemed genuinly caring, helpful and nice people. I wish I could describe everything as 'excellent', but there were several small details that should be corrected. The staff were aware of these - I didn't regard them as fault - but no changes were made.
Would I return to Midford Manor? Yes, certainly.

One of my parents recently spent a month at Midford Manor as a respite guest, while the other parent had a much needed rest as their carer.
My loved one has dementia, yet retains exceptionally high expectations for their care and surroundings. Midford Manor was the perfect solution to our needs.
The facility is exceptional in design, maintenance and planning. The stand-out area for us though was the true care and consideration shown by the team there - not just to my parent who was staying, but to the whole family.
My loved one is exacting in their standards, and can be a challenging temperament to deal with. They did not want to participate in most activities, it's just not in their nature. However, the team at Midford Manor worked quickly to understand their personality, likes and dislikes and took enormous effort to adapt to care for them as an individual personality, with respect and warmth. I can not express how much our family appreciated this. Genuinely 5 stars.

Midford Manor is an excellent home. It has been a huge transition for my mum to leave her home of 50 years to go into a home. The team were excellent, providing information, pre-visit and a nice tour. On entry, my mum could at times be challenging and all the team were amazing with her. This has
continued, and she is now settled and very happy. She loves most the activities from trips out, church services, games, entertainment and especially the babies who visit. Well done Midford Manor, you have got it right!

It is early days as my mother is only just settling. She is easily confused by a confusing company. Staff very welcoming and good with the dementia residents.

Exceptionally friendly and competent staff. I am provided with all the necessary information, which is very comforting as I live abroad. The staff is very caring and does everything to make people feel safe and comfortable. The rooms are well furnished, practical and tasteful. It feels more like a
well run hotel than a care home. The garden is also very well kept and enjoyable. We like to stroll around there whenever the weather is good enough for it.

Midford Manor is in a class of its own! My mum stayed here for 4 weeks for respite care and the care, support and attention she received was absolutely brilliant. The best part about Hallmark Care Homes is the way that the staff make everyone feel part of the family: residents, relatives and guests
are all treated with warmth and kindness.

The staff are second to none - you cannot fault their wonderful support and care. However, Hallmark does not reflect the fees in the services provided. Initially, my parents received expensive gifts on special occasions; now, it's a cheaper gift. The food is often good, but not always. The
activities are good, but their budget has been cut. I will always recommend the amazing staff, but there has been a high staff turnover since it opened because Hallmark does not support individuals as they should. Care is a pressured industry, so more support to employees should be given by Hallmark - the individuals feel expendable, leaving residents more confused by constant staff changes.

Since meeting the CRM, (my sister and I) have been really impressed with the kindness and professionalism of all the staff we have met. The welcoming and friendly approach of the carers and their reassurance towards all the residents they meet, as well as visitors, creates a lovely atmosphere for
our loved one to live in.

My husband broke his femur at the beginning of October after 2 weeks in hospital, followed by 8 weeks in a community hospital. He wasn't getting any better, and we decided that he had a better chance of recovery in your care home. Unfortunately, at the age of 89l recovery was not possible, and he
died peacefully despite the excellent care he received at Midford Manor.

In July this year, I was relatively fit, healthy and able to live alone. Then without warning, I developed a painful condition that slowly affected my joints and muscles. Suddenly I needed help. Midford Manor Care Home, Bath offered Respite Care and I was welcomed into their happy community. A care
home was not something that I had envisaged that I would need for a few years, but my apprehension was unfounded. For a start, it is a modern version of a care home - a bright positive, yet calm, environment with staff to support you in any way you need it. Cafes for meeting up, a cinema to relax in, a gym with a resident physio to guide you through helpful exercises to get muscles working again. A beautiful garden for gentle walks. A chef to produce tempting meals. My stay at Midford contributed hugely to my recovery and ability to return home to live independently again. It has been a very humbling experience due to the kindness and understanding of all the staff. Thank you all so much.

We have been grateful for the care and support shown to our friend at Midford Manor. After years of independent living, she moved into the home as her health was deteriorating. The care and interest shown by the staff in so many ways were greatly appreciated and always met her where she was at.
There was gentle encouragement, and never overbearing pressure, to engage with various things and genuine support where it was needed. When the care became end-of-life, staff were incredibly caring and sensitive right to the very end. We cannot be more thankful.

My mother has been a resident at Hallmark Midford Manor since October 2023. Mum has dementia and receives the best care from all the carers on the dementia floor. Nothing is too much trouble and Mum has improved so much, sociably, momentarily and her mood since being there, she really enjoys all the
activities Midford puts on. The food is excellent. Bedrooms and all the communal rooms are spotless and luxurious, the best care imaginable. I would recommend Hallmark Milford Manor to anyone.

My mum has dementia and when my dad passed away suddenly, we had to find care for my mum. Hallmark Midford Manor had just opened so fortunately we were able to secure a place for Mum there. The staff at Hallmark Midford Manor have been amazing with Mum. She joins in most of the activities on offer
and has had a new lease of life. She used to sleep most of the day at home and now she is busy all day interacting with the lovely staff and residents. She has started knitting again, she goes to the gym, sings along to music and dances every day. The carers are amazing. We can leave her knowing she is being well looked after and she is safe and happy.
