Always made to feel welcome whilst visiting. Always very clean, seating areas always very tidy and clean and my friend is very well looed after.

My aunt moved into The Mayfield two months ago and the settling in period has gone very smoothly thanks to the kindness of the staff. Her room is always clean and fresh and is very well equipped and laid out with plenty of shelf space for photos and ornaments from home. I find the staff to be very attentive and friendly. The food is especially good and hot drinks and snacks are readily available. I feel that the staff understand the importance of treating their residents with dignity and courtesy, helping them to maintain a level of independence which is very important. We are all extremely happy that she chose to come here.

Fabulous caring staff! Clean, tidy, excellent standard of maintenance. Friendly, supportive, welcoming with a warm and loving attitude that it is 'home' and not an institution! When we've been worried about something and were uncertain "how to go about it", the advice and guidance and action have instantly melted away any concerns, especially when dealing with outside agencies, as the staff are far more familiar with such things, and one doesn't feel alone. The dignity of all residents is paramount to the staff, and this is obvious to family and visitors alike.

After being treated in hospital following a fall, mum needed constant care and attention to get her confident and mobile again. The people at Mayfield were brilliant, with no fuss admission and the full time friendly care which she needed. Originally a short term admission, Mum liked being at Mayfield so much that she decided to become a permanent resident, which is a testament to the wonderful staff and their friendly, caring attitude.

Spacious, comfy care home, with plenty of room to wander, rooms are very comfy, most importantly, the staff are brilliant and caring.

The Mayfield is such a fabulous place full of laughter and the kindest of caregivers. It is like one big happy 'family' with so many social activities but also plenty of space to chill out and have personal downtime. Everyone is made to feel special - even the visitors! Thanks for all of your dedication and care!

I visited my friend who is very settled and happy at The Mayfield Care Home. She has dementia which they have rooms upstairs for that are lovely. The place is just wonderful and my friend enjoys joining in all the different activities daily. The food looks delicious and I am always made welcome by the hard-working staff. The care she receives is fabulous.

I have had my father in Mayfield for a month and found the home, the staff absolutely brilliant. All staff are very friendly very helpful and nothing is to much trouble.

My Mum moved into The Mayfield in Aug 2024. To leave her home and move into care home accommodation is very daunting but all the staff have gone out of their way to make The Mayfield her new 'home'. She loves the staff and whenever I visit she and they are laughing - she's made genuine friends and is safe and secure. I'd recommend The Mayfield to my friends - Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Thank you.

My mum has settled in the home now. She is eating well and there are plenty of things to hold her interest. It is a shame that to date two hearing aids have gone missing.

The management and staff were attentive and supportive to my mam and myself. Nothing was too much trouble. The food and facilities were of the highest quality. The room was of high standard. The food menus well planned and of excellent quality.

This was my first experience in The Mayfield, was staying for 2 weeks respite care after hospital. I was very pleased with everything I found there. I was particularly pleased with the helpfulness of the staff and the delicious food served.

Mum has recently moved to The Mayfield and received a very warm welcome from both staff and fellow residents. The facilities are excellent and the staff are kind, considerate and caring. Mum has had no problems settling down, it's as if she has been part of the Mayfield family for years! Many thanks.

This was a wonderful post-operation respite time. The care, attention and service was amazing. I cannot think that I could have been better cared for, and service given. The food was excellent. The staff were very friendly and supportive.
