My mother has been in Watermead Rose for the past two weeks. She has enjoyed her respite stay. Made some new friends, enjoyed the daily activities. The staff have made her stay lovely going above and beyond. She has enjoyed the lovely food which she has had a wide variety of choices. I would like to thank the wonderful team for all the support with care. I highly recommend Watermead Rose to anyone looking for a very welcoming home or respite for a loved one. I will be using Watermead again and again knowing how happy and comfortable they have made my mother.

Lovely caring home, all staff polite and professional whilst also being caring and kind. Could not do enough to help mother to settle in and enjoy her stay. Food choices were great and varied, the activities were brilliant and the activities staff ensured that all could take part.

My husband had to spend the last 6 weeks of his life in nursing care and he could not have received more expert or considerate care. Likewise his family were given warm and indeed loving support at this very sad time.

Loving, caring staff. Showed my mother the dignity she deserved right up to her final days when she passed away. The manager and his team went the extra mile not only for my mother but also for us as a family. 10 out of 10 regards the staff. Lovely location, very clean rooms. Thank you for everything you have done. Much appreciated. Keep up the good work. You are amazing.

Although our time at Watermead Rose was brief, just 12 hours, it left a lasting impression. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel like part of the family. Every question we had, no matter how small or unsure it felt, was answered with genuine care and knowledge. Our visit was during a very difficult time, as our loved one was receiving end-of-life care. The compassion, communication, and commitment shown by the staff were truly second to none. They didn't just care for our loved one they cared for us too. We were regularly checked on, offered tea, coffee, and food, and made to feel as supported as our loved one. After her passing, the kindness we received was deeply moving-sincere, thoughtful, and offered as if from a family member. We are so grateful for the dignity and love shown in those final hours. We would wholeheartedly recommend Watermead Rose to anyone seeking not just professional care, but human kindness at its finest.

Mum moved to Watermead Rose at the end of February. She seems settled and happy here. The staff particularly the senior carers have kept us up to date with how mum has settled in. The staff are exceptional! Our experience so far is very positive.

Having just moved my Sister to The Watermead Rose it is so reassuring to know that she will be cared for by such caring and dedicated staff in what can only be described as excellent accommodations. From initial contact with the home to her first weeks as a resident has been handled very professionally and I am reassured that my sister will be happy and well cared for in her new home.

Having reviewed a number of care homes in Leicestershire, the facilities and culture displayed at the home gave the family the confidence to select Watermead Rose for mother's care needs. Whilst such a move has been difficult for mum at times, the care and compassion as a resident has confirmed that the selection of Watermead Rose was correct. The rooms are well appointed in this bespoke facility and the many activities arranged for residents here created a much improved social life for mum.

I can only describe this nursing home as perfect, with the very best of service and superb accommodation. My father in law arrived at this nursing home 2 weeks ago for end of life nursing care after 6 weeks of investigations at 3 different hospitals to be diagnosed with terminal cancer. He was a very able, active man up until 3 months ago when his problems became apparent and consequently is now bed bound but has his sense of humour and mental capacity fully apparent. The staff here are wonderful, caring, and supportive from management right through to ancillary housekeeping personnel. The entertainment group visit him personally as he's unable to join in group activities, and he enjoys visits from friends and relatives.

Watermead Rose is a very well-managed home that deals with a broad spectrum of needs. We have found the home and staff to be beyond our expectations in their care for our loved one. They provide care, friendship & stimulation to all their residents and visitors in a modern and elegant location. I would recommend Watermead Rose to anybody looking for a caring environment for their loved ones.

Home sweet home. That is what Watermead Rose became for our Dad for six months until the end of his life. Dad was no longer lonely; he made friends, actively took part each day in the many activities the home provides and he was cared for as an individual. Our unique Dad's needs were met by all the staff from each department, which helps make Watermead Rose the home that it is. All this was delivered with compassion, dignity and respect and also extended to the family. We all became part of the Watermead family. Which we will all remember.. Thank you, each & every one of you for all that you do.

The care received for my uncle has been amazing. He has been in Watermead Rose for respite 3 times in the last year & the last few days for palliative care. Very professional, considerate & compassionate.

Both my parents have been at this care home. My dad died a year ago. They have both been cared for really well. My mum continues to live there & the staff are all very supportive of her and they listen to her needs. Always plenty of activities to do & children visit, which my mum loves. Everywhere is clean. My mum feels safe. She is treated like family.
