Mum has been a resident of Astley View for 8 months. She has always been treated with kindness & compassion & appreciates the professionalism & friendliness of the carers. She is settled & secure in her new home which is very reassuring for the family

The transition from hospital in June to care home was difficult for mum with her Alzheimer's . The staff worked hard to help her settle and decisions for what was in mums best interest they included the family making us feel informed and involved. Special praise goes to Linda and the management team that worked with the family to improve mums care plan . Astley view is a great facility purpose built with space and comfort in mind .

We have been so relieved to experience such lovely care snd support for mum since her move into Astley View in August . So many kind staff ..helping mum but also having time to talk to us. It really has felt like a team effort. The home is beautiful. Clean .the residents all look well cared for and it smells nice. I would like to mention some individuals...but it asks us not to...but everyone ftom receptionists to activity staff and carers have been wonderful. It is not an easy decision to take a relative out of the home they have lived in for nearly 60 years....but Astley View is the best we could hope for...so thankyou .

My mother has been living at Astley View for almost 14 months and during that time the care she has received has been exemplary. My sister and I are keep abreast of any issues/problems that arise and were even advised as to when mum is 'resident' of the day and we are contacted in case we have any concerns or worries. Overall we cannot fault the care given

I am a close friend and power of Attorney for one of the residence at Astley View. My friend was initially on restbite after injuring herself badly In a fall. We were so impressed by the staff and management here. They are all very professional, informative, caring and friendly. Furthermore, from the first day, they gave my friend and myself there 100% attention, helping her to settle in. The transition was perfect. Nothing was too much trouble. She was encourage to bring personal items from home to make her stay feel more like home. Care and surroundings are outstanding. There is always something going on. Activities are varied to meet the needs of everyone. The home has a lovely friendly feel about it, bright and cheerful. Receptionist always have a welcoming smile. My friend loves it so much she has decided to stay forever. She feels secure and cared for and is now selling her home. I feel she is now safe, loved and respected and treated with dignity. Highly recommended. Amazing.

Since my Uncle moved into Astley View we feel he has received first-class care, which as a family we appreciate so much. All the staff are interested in the residents but also are very friendly to people visiting. My Uncle is in residential dementia and they have done an excellent job keeping us informed about his condition and care plans. The home itself is stunning, the bedrooms and communal areas couldn't really be better.

As a family, we are grateful for the kindness and expertise of all the staff at Astley View. As a nurse who has gone into many homes, I have never experienced this level of empathy and skill. It's exceptional. The environment, activities and food are outstanding. We never worry about my sister's care which has put not only my but my 90-year-old parent's minds at rest for the first time in decades. Exceptional throughout.

It is wonderful to see my aunt so well cared for. She is clearly feeling safe, cared for and comfortable. She is looking so much better healthwise.

The care at Astley View has been outstanding. The care and dignity my grandma has been cared for has been incredible, making sure she wasn't just an old or poorly lady but the person she had been beforehand. The staff are friendly, warm and genuinely care about their residents. I would not want my gran to be anywhere else, and have even joked about moving in myself!

Everything is excellent about Astley View. The staff are very understanding and efficient, you can tell they care. I feel reassured my Grandma is in a safe and friendly environment and receiving outstanding care which is a weight off my family's shoulders.

Astley View certainly surpasses all the expectations I had following my initial visit. Don't get me wrong, my initial visit was impressive, and I came away thinking this was "the place". However, maybe I initially thought some of the claims and objectives may be somewhat too positive. But genuinely they were 100% spot on. The team said they have a brilliant relationship with district nurses, doctors, pharmacists, etc, and this has been proven to be a key strength. The on-site staff are amazing, and they have extra specialist knowledge on tap! The three-way link of AV staff, DN & St Catherine's has given us great comfort and confidence. I cannot praise highly enough the attentive, caring, and personal way the team is with not only the resident but also with the family. When I described Astley View to the family, I said that it had redefined what a "care home" is. I now know I was accurate and believe they have set the bar extremely high! Thank you.

I cannot praise Astley View enough for the care and compassion both my parents received. They both became very ill suddenly and after long hospital stays and 3 months apart were reunited at Astley View. Their needs were assessed individually and the best care was provided for both of them. The staff has been absolutely amazing and not only cared for my parents but also for us as a family, checking in on us to make sure we were all okay, especially knowing we had a distance to travel each day. Both my parents felt safe and secure and knew that their needs were being met and that nothing was too much trouble. Living away from the area I could return home each night feeling reassured they were getting the best possible care and truly being looked after. I would have no hesitation recommending Astley View to anyone - everything about it is spot on!!

Mum is recently back at Astley following surgery for a broken hip. She was desperate to get "home" which is now how she views Astley following permanent residence since April this year. I visited yesterday and spoke to several staff. I feel the care she is getting is really excellent. In particular yesterday the two ladies were really lovely. Well done Astley it's so good to not be worried about the care num is getting.

I am so impressed by Astley View Care Home. The carers are so patient, kind, and professional. All the staff, reception, carers, activity manager, etc are lovely and so responsive and kind. So far everyone I've met knows my Aunt. She feels safe and secure and I know she is receiving the very best care. The care is way beyond my expectations, which were high in the first place. Thank you Astley View, you have given my Aunt a new lease of life, I haven't seen her smile and laugh so much in years.

My mother-in-law who five months ago, several times, given from 48 hours to 6 months to live is thriving since we have moved her to Astley View Care Home. My mother-in-law has to have weekly blood/platelet transfusions. If we cannot take her to the hospital they willingly step in. The staff are very friendly, and caring plus go above and beyond in accommodating her. The home in itself is very clean and maintained to a high standard. The kitchen again has gone above and beyond in accommodating her food tastes.

My father became a resident of Astley View Care Home in early May. Sadly he passed away in early July. In the two months that Dad was a resident, he was treated with kindness, care and dignity by all the staff. We could not have asked for better care for Dad.

First impressions excellent. The rooms and facilities are first rate, and more importantly the staff were kind caring and supportive, and as far as I could tell my husband was known to staff and not left to feel insecure. I felt reaction casual, no real mention of it, although floors changed. Reservations as to the security! My husband left the building early evening and walked home (4 miles). I wasn't told - I rang to say he was home - he then spent the night at home - (not to disrupt again). Not quite the respite or attention expected.

My mother has been a resident since the home opened, so for about 3 months now. All the staff, are welcoming, attentive, professional - and of course caring. Residents are treated like the individuals that they are, and the care is tailored to their needs. Standards and expectations are high, and this is reflected in the spacious rooms, the activities and special events provided, and the quality of the food. he team is responsive but flexible, friendly yet professional, and you can see real relationships being built up due to the consistency in the team. Astley View offers some wonderful facilities, and there is a lovely ambience as you enter the building, and everyone is made to feel welcome. It feels more like a home from home than a home!

Cannot fault the home or the carers everyone is so friendly which puts your mind at rest. Nothing is too much trouble, at Christmas they made it so magical for residents and their families, as soon as we visited we knew we had found the right one.

Been a resident at Astley View for 4 months now since it first opened and absolutely loved it. It feels more like a hotel than a care home. Building and furnishings of a very high standard and treated with respect and dignity by all staff not just carers. All staff cannot do enough for you and are friendly and warm-hearted people. Very happy with everything.

The care at Astley View has been outstanding.
