My mother has been a resident for a number of months and requires a lot of support. The manger has been approachable and supportive, and all the staff, from reception to house keepers, carers & nurses have been helpful, caring & respectful with my mother & our family. I was always worried about my mother being in a care home, but not at The Maples, I feel she is in a safe & caring environment. It has a really positive & proactive atmosphere.

I was very pleased that a place was found for my Aunt on discharge from hospital. I have been very happy for the care given to her up to and including her death. The staff have always been welcoming and cheerful. They have answered questions asked and found solutions to issues and problems presented. I would recommend the 2nd floor placement to anybody who asked me re care for a loved one.

Mum has been in the Maple since October 2024 and the care she has received has been second to none. The staff and carers have been excellent and we could not wish for a better care home for mum to be in, They are caring, thoughtful of mums needs and keep us as a family well updated. The care team have been amazing with caring for mum even when she is not the easiest to care for due to her unpredictability. I would highly recommend this care home if you want reassurance that you know your family member will be cared for unconditionally the team treat the residents like one of there own family, this is the place for your loved ones.

Mom admitted from hospital - room lovely. No care plan discussed with family. Mom complained food was often cold and unedible. Often left uncomfortable as personal not carried out and then would need full change. Staff often turned buzzer off without answering query and would return some time later. Very understaffed on daily basis. Staff doing their best. Mom was discharged with hematoma - resulting in re-admission to hospital.

Although very concerned about my wife having to go into a nursing/care home. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the Maples is. It is very well run, very clean and very tidy. All the staff are very kind and caring. I have no hesitation in recommending The Maple to anyone needing that care.

My mum stayed at The Maples for three weeks in order to receive rehabilitation after four weeks in hospital. All members of staff were excellent - the receptionists, carers and in house physiotherapist were all welcoming, helpful and supportive of mum and her visitors. Communication with us was extremely good. Mum was very comfortable there and we felt she was very safe during her stay there.

The Maples is a clean and beautiful residential care home, the staff and the caring team are very friendly and make you feel very welcome. My mom is a resident here and she is very happy, which makes the family feel more secure knowing mom is in a safe environment. Maples you are doing a great job.

Found the home to be well laid out. Staff very friendly and caring. Rooms spacious with all facilities. Residents have full access to dining and lounge. Even able with help to access gardens. I would highly recommend to anybody seeking care.

Care staff are very friendly and helpful, as is management. Rooms are clean and spacious. Dad is a lot happier since moving here, he enjoys visits from Ted the dog and enjoys a sing-a-long when entertainment is on.

Ever since she came the carers have been a massive support to all of us. They have all been really friendly and nice. If we've ever had any issues they have been dealt with in a quick manner. Would highly recommend this care home.

I think it's amazing - the staff are excellent the place is very clean and tidy everyone is easy to talk to. Put it this way if I get like my mum I would definitely come here as well.

Staff are brilliant, friendly, caring and hard working. Sometimes it takes a while for the buzzer to be answered, short staffed? Meal times seem to vary and are sometimes quite late. Also, meals are sometimes lukewarm and not hot by the time they arrive. Mom has been at The Maples since June 2023 and has developed a great friendship with carers and staff.

Mom is happy her overall, however; Food sometimes arrives cold and very late. Seems to be a very high turnover of staff. When Mom rings the bell, sometimes it takes ages for someone to attend to her. Sometimes they are really short-staffed. Cannot fault the staff, they are all lovely with Mom.

All the staff, who had dealings with Mum, were very professional, friendly and welcoming. As a family, we all thank you so much for looking after Mum so well.

This has been the first Christmas of my mom not living at home, but knowing the care, support and love my mom gets at The Maples has made it much easier on me and my family. The staff are kind, friendly and caring, and I couldn’t wish for her to be in a better place.

My mom stayed here for three months until her demise - she had previously been in another awful care home. However, the contrast was unbelievable! The home/facilities/staff and management are superb. The care/love and support given to both my mom and other residents was and is amazing. Thank you all at The Maples.

This home is just perfect for your loved ones suffering from Dementia. The staff are so caring and helpful. The home is outstanding in every aspect. So glad we managed to get our mum a place there. Knowing she is in a good environment and being cared for gives us peace of mind. Thank you to all the staff there you are doing a wonderful job.
