My Dad has ben a resident at Elgar Court since November 2024, where he has received excellent care and kindness . Recently he needed to be hospitalised and all senior , junior carers and management were incredibly supportive . As a family we truly appreciated the professionalism and personal help to us during a worrying time . He has recovered so well and enjoyed celebrating his 90th birthday in July using the Private Dining Room at Elgar Court . Everyone involved contributed into making it an extremely special day providing us all with very happy memories. Thanks to all .

We had a wonderful family day to celebrate my Dads 90th. Birthday. It was truely an amazing event with excellent food and facilities and the support of Elgar Court staff. Well done. An afternoon never to forget. Thanks so much. EC make all the difference to my Dads life.

Elgar Court are doing a fabulous job of looking after my father in law, and he is very settled there. The activities are varied and they go out of their way to encourage the residents to participate. It is a great comfort to us as a family to know that he is so well cared for, and the staff are wonderful. In particular, he had a birthday party this past week and the chef did a fabulous job of catering for all of us. Thank you so much.

I most enjoyed my stay. I was well looked after and everyone was helpful and caring, catering was very good & I was never hungry or disappointed by the food & drink.

My experience of the care home has been excellent. They organised the stay very well - even meeting us at 7.00 am on our arrival after a long journey from Scotland. The staff have been excellent - caring and interested.

I came here May 1st - May 30th for respite care following four operations for hip revision. During this time the care and support of the management team and carers has been wonderful. My confidence in walking has improved and my general well being also strengthened. I cannot praise Elgar Court Care Home enough. Would recommend it to anyone and my best adjective would be EXCELLENT!

Beautiful hotel like environment. Always clean and tidy. All staff friendly and very helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. Food (parents describe) is good quality and nutritious. My parents both look well and are recognising quality. Would rate 11/10!

My dad is being looked after very well now. He's now eating and drinking well and has help washing, dressing etc. Always very happy with amenities, activities and staff. They are very helpful and always let you know what is happening. Excellent.

Mum has been with Barchester Elgar Court Care Home for six months and I cannot recommend them highly enough - support for Mum, us, with the transition into care is second to none. Mum is happy, content and enjoys being at Elgar Court - it's more like a hotel than a care home.

Since my father became a resident at Barchester Elgar Court Care Home, he has had excellent care. From my initial telephone call, the excellent assessment while he was in hospital to his "admission", his care has been exemplary. Without Elgar Court, I honestly feel Dad would not be with us anymore. His physical and mental well-being have improved hugely. My health has improved knowing he is here.

My husband spent a week in your wonderful Barchester Elgar Court Care Home. He was a little reluctant to stay but the staff were so kind and understanding that he quickly settled in and enjoyed his stay. The room was comfortable and he had a great view of the Malvern Hills. The staff, without exception, were warm and friendly and totally professional. I appreciated all the care that I experienced and would definitely be very happy for my husband to stay again. Thank you.

It feels like we have struck gold! My mother has recently moved to Barchester Elgar Court Care Home, having tried two other homes which have not suited her needs. She is the happiest I have seen her for many years! Her physical and mental health have significantly improved, enabling her to live her best life at the age of 92. We are delighted. It is a huge relief for both her and her family. Thoroughly recommend in every way. Thank you to the manager and her fabulous team!

From the first contact to Mother's arrival, we have been delighted with all aspects of care, reception and information given by everyone at Barchester Elgar Court Care Home. I was particularly touched by the telephone call from the home services advisor the day after Mum's arrival, checking everything was ok and Mum was happy with her room etc. The manager has been so helpful and positive. Mum likes the calm atmosphere but with plenty going on if she wants it. Everyone has helped Mum settle in.

A very welcoming, safe and secure environment where I was happy to leave my mum for a two-week respite stay. All the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful and the atmosphere calm and relaxed. My mum found the meals good but would have liked more readily available fruit and more vegetables with her meal. I can only comment on the cakes which were far too readily available but delicious! There seemed to be a lot of advertised activities, although they were sometimes cancelled or altered last minute - I hope this improves for future visits. Overall, great!

I stayed at Barchester Elgar Court Care Home for a week to help me recuperate after a hip replacement. I found the staff very approachable, kind and very professional and would give them more than five stars if I could! This applies across the board, with high standards being obvious from admin, activities, housekeeping, catering and not least, carers. Whilst my care needs were modest compared to other residents, any help I needed was readily available with a chat and smile thrown in for good measure. My birthday fell during my stay and I was treated to a birthday cake and prosecco to make the day a bit more special than it might have been. Thank you to all who made me welcome and helped during my short stay.

Both the day and nightcare teams were very good. It's been a very good experience sharing time with everyone there. I liked the restaurant but would have liked to have had more vegetables and fruit available. I enjoyed some of the activities but they were often disorganised and sometimes cancelled without notice.

Elgar Court are doing a fabulous job of looking after my father in law, and he is very settled there. The activities are varied and they go out of their way to encourage the residents to participate.
