I have worked within management for over 23 years and my exciting journey started with Barchester in 2023.

I am exceptionally passionate about my vocation. I work very closely with my team here at Elgar Court to enable me to cascade my wealth of knowledge and experiences, ensuring we provide the best possible person-centred care, and passion for life alongside a fulfilled and amazing life enrichment programme tailored for all capabilities and interests.

Hello, my name is Liz and I am the Deputy Manager for Elgar Court. I have been with Barchester for over 10 years and managed a number of homes across the Midlands. I am dedicated to the excellent care and well-being of our residents, and I always strive to ensure we provide the very best enriched environment for our homes. Hello, my name is Vicky and I have a passion for caring for people. As one of two Community care leaders at Elgar Court, I strive to ensure the care and support my teams give our residents, and enrich their lives each and every day.

In my spare time, I support local charities and enjoy reading and cooking.

I am an award-winning Executive Chef, who has worked internationally in luxury hotels and private dining organisations across the world. I cannot wait to share my wealth of knowledge of local, national and international food with our residents at Elgar Court.

Hello, my name is Dan and I am a Chef at Elgar Court.  I have worked at a number of restaurants and enjoy learning something new ever day to please our residents.

In my spare time my interests are cars and eating out with friends.

After a 30-year career as a Police Officer, I learned that I was happiest when helping people. Seven years managing holiday camps developed a skillset in maintenance and I’ve always loved a challenge. Head of Maintenance at the brand new Elgar Court means I get to combine all three and I can’t wait to welcome you to our beautiful new home.

Through my husband's work, we were relocated to North Carolina in the US. During this time I worked in finance, and then on my return to the UK I continued my career with Bupa as a Finance Administrator. I am now fortunate to once again work in care for the Barchester Group as a Home Administrator and I look forward to meeting our new residents.

Hello, my name is Sarah and our team will ensure everything is just 'right' and more for our residents! I am a highly experienced housekeeper from working in a number of luxury residential homes. I am looking forward to getting to know and spending time, with each of our residents and making a difference in their daily life.

Hello, My name is Kerrie and I provide unique life enrichment for residents at Elgar Court. I moved to Malvern 12 years ago to live with my fiance and we have two tortoises and a snake. I love to play Dungeons and Dragons with my friends. I am very 'outdoorsy' and used to riding horses and competing nationally in athletics, specialising in track and field for Redditch and Bromsgrove Athletics Club.

In my spare time, I love being in the kitchen and making treats for my family.

I recently retired from being a senior Paediatric nurse at Birmingham Queen Elizabeth Hospital and moved to Malvern this year. I enjoy going travelling to far-off countries and spending time with my family. I am enjoying getting to know our residents and meeting all our visitors.

Hello, my name is Fran. I've worked as a carer for 9 years, and I love what I do. I love getting to know different kinds of people and building relationships with them, especially those with advanced dementia. It brings me great joy to engage and help empower my residents to live the fullest lives possible. I can be quiet, but I can also be very silly!

Outside of work, I love to collect vintage clothing, travel abroad, walk our local hills, sing and spend time with my family.

I have been working in care since 2008 and love working with the elderly and making them feel special in any way I can.

Hello, I'm Amelia and I am a carer who has a passion for caring for people and loves all aspects of my job.

I've been caring for people in my work role for over 16 years, and have made many friendships with residents and their families, during that time.

When I'm not working, my other passion, is my 3-year-old African Grey Parrott, always causing mischief and up to no good... he's a proper little character!

Hello, my name is Katie, and I am a Community Lead at Elgar Court. I will be leading and ensuring we provide the highest standards of care for our residents. I previously held senior director roles in some very well-known department stores in London, but realised my true interest was in caring for others. I am currently studying for a degree in Occupational Therapy alongside my full-time job and loving every minute of it! When I get spare time, I travel abroad and relax with my husband and also enjoy socialising with my friends.
