The home is made up of three communities. Residential communities are on the ground and second floor and there is a Memory Lane community on the first floor.
The beautiful home comprises of 66 rooms which all have en-suite facilities, including a toilet, a wash basin and a wet-room. Most of the ground bedrooms have garden access. In addition there are six assisted toilets within the home, along with six spa bathrooms equipped with light and sound technology for you to enjoy.
There are several beautiful spaces to spend your days, either quietly alone or socialising with others. There are a variety of individually designed spaces including a café and four spacious dining rooms where you can dine in calm, relaxed surroundings. The well-appointed dining rooms are located on all floors, one on the ground floor, one on the first floor and one on the second floor including a private dining room with terrace access.
There are many lounges that are thoughtfully designed with a variety of chair styles to suit everyone’s requirements, calming and soothing colours on the walls, and soft furnishings, TV areas and quieter reading spaces.
This Weekly Fee rate is an indication only of a typical standard fee rate for a resident living in a standard, comfortable room. A final Weekly Fee rate will be confirmed once we have carried out a pre-admission needs assessment.

My mum started out at Elgar Court on a 2 week respite trial, and liked it so much she decided to stay on permanently! From the start, all staff have been friendly and welcoming, and have gone out of their way to make mum feel comfortable and included. I have walked in more than once to find a staff member encouraging mum to join in a group activity that she otherwise might not have considered, and facilitating relationships with likeminded residents. Food is great, the home is beautifully designed and mums room has lovely views of the Malvern Hills.

I feel the recent price/fee raise is unacceptable in the light of family doing her washing, limited access to outside visits etc.

My mother is happy & well cared for. All staff are friendly and approachable. Occasionally activities are cancelled at short notice but she really enjoys the things she does. Shame that my mother isn't able to go out on the minibus because she is too uncomfortable. This limits the number of activities she can take part in. Despite this, the cost of her room is extremely high for what she is getting - my sisters do her washing, she eats very little. This is especially shocking since the profit Barchester Healthcare are making. It is no reflection on the staff of the home who work hard & do their very best.
