Since my father became a resident at Barchester Elgar Court Care Home, he has had excellent care. From my initial telephone call, the excellent assessment while he was in hospital to his "admission", his care has been exemplary. Without Elgar Court, I honestly feel Dad would not be with us anymore. His physical and mental well-being have improved hugely. My health has improved knowing he is here.
Thank you so much, Lynn, for your outstanding review of our care. We are so pleased that his health and confidence have grown from strength to strength at our home and look forward to seeing him continue his zest for life with us. I will pass on your review to our team who will be so pleased to hear this. Best wishes, Elgar Court.
All staff are very friendly and helpful. A new facility built with great care and thought in the design and finish.
Thank you so much for choosing to spend a few months at Elgar Court for a well-being break. We really enjoyed having you to stay and considering Elgar Court as a 'luxury hotel with 24-hour care services' (one of your lovely comments and a highlight from our daily chats!)
I'd give you 5 and a half if I could!
Thank you so much for the high praise of our care and home life at Elgar Court! This recognition means so much to us and the hard work of our staff. Kindest regards, Naomi.
My husband spent a week in your wonderful Barchester Elgar Court Care Home. He was a little reluctant to stay but the staff were so kind and understanding that he quickly settled in and enjoyed his stay. The room was comfortable and he had a great view of the Malvern Hills. The staff, without exception, were warm and friendly and totally professional. I appreciated all the care that I experienced and would definitely be very happy for my husband to stay again. Thank you.
Thank you so much for your kind review, we really enjoyed your husband staying with us and look forward to his next stay. Kindest regards, Naomi.
My mother has recently moved to Barchester Elgar Court Care Home, having tried two other homes which have not suited her needs.
She is the happiest I have seen her for many years! Her physical and mental health have significantly improved, enabling her to live her best life at the age of 92.
We are delighted. It is a huge relief for both her and her family. Thoroughly recommend in every way. Thank you to the manager and her fabulous team!
Thank you so much for your very kind and thoughtful review. We are really pleased that your mum is thriving in our home and enjoying the care and lifestyle we provide. I will let the team know about your feedback which is always valued. Kindest regards, Naomi.
I have been visiting my friend at Elgar Court since last August. She has settled in well and is enjoying being part of the community. The staff are always friendly and helpful. A very happy place.
I liked the restaurant but would have liked to have had more vegetables and fruit available. I enjoyed some of the activities but they were often disorganised and sometimes cancelled without notice.
My birthday fell during my stay and I was treated to a birthday cake and prosecco to make the day a bit more special than it might have been.
Thank you to all who made me welcome and helped during my short stay.
My mum found the meals good but would have liked more readily available fruit and more vegetables with her meal. I can only comment on the cakes which were far too readily available but delicious!
There seemed to be a lot of advertised activities, although they were sometimes cancelled or altered last minute - I hope this improves for future visits.
Overall, great!
Very friendly staff, also helpful and respectful.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We really enjoyed meeting you and having you stay at our home. I will pass on your feedback to the team. Kindest regards, Naomi.
It was lovely to see our dear friend so well cared for. Thank you.
Thank you for your thoughtful and kind review, I will pass on your comments to our dedicated team. Kindest regards, Naomi.
I am unable to comment on value for money as we are not privy to information.
Thank you for your very kind review of the care we provide you friend, and the lovely atmosphere we all enjoy. Please do come and see us again soon. Kindest regards
The building is brand new and excellent but the best feature of the home is the staff.
They are truly caring and always take the extra time to sit and talk to the residents, forming real bonds.
Everyone is uniformly wonderful. A lovely place.
Thank you for your wonderful review of our home and the care we provide your mother. It's always a pleasure to meet family members of our residents and show the care we provide. Kindest regards

Would thoroughly recommend.
Thank you so very, very much for your glowing review of our team and our home! We really are constantly encouraged by the praise our residents and their families give us and this reinforces how well our person-centred care is for each resident. Thank you again! Kind regards, Naomi.
Mum settled in straightaway with the help of the friendly staff and other residents.
She is enjoying the food and the activities and she has told us that she feels safe which means the world to us.
Thank you for your wonderful feedback on how your mum is settling into her new home. We are so pleased that she is enjoying the care and lifestyle our team works so hard to give to all of our residents. Kindest regards, Naomi.
He was well looked after, enjoyed food and slept well. He also joined in some activities. I was made to feel welcome along with any visitors.
Thank you for letting us know about your husband's stay and his experience with us. We enjoyed having your husband as our guest and hope we will see you both again for a coffee and a catch-up. It is always our aim to give each and every resident and guest a wonderful lifestyle with enriching daily activities. We hope to see you soon! Kindest regards, Naomi.
From the first moment stepping through the door, I knew this was the place for Mum and Dad. All of the staff, the rooms, the facilities, food and drink are excellent. We were all made to feel instantly welcome. The whole process of getting them settled here has been thorough but not overly burdensome. Mum has been here for a few days and her alertness has improved - and she is happy. I couldn't ask for more.
We really appreciate your review of our care and team's efforts. We are so glad your parents' move has been a very smooth transition with your care and our team and I will pass on your kind comments. Best wishes, Naomi.
We received the warmest of welcomes from the moment we came through the door. The standard of facilities is excellent - this has the feel of a hotel, beautiful and spotlessly clean. We are sure Mum and Dad will be very happy here.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review. It is incredible how quickly your parents have settled in and I can assure you that our care and thoughtfulness will continue during their stay with us. Best wishes, Naomi.
My Father was a short term resident at Elgar Court before his death. He was a stubborn soul who did not want to be in residential care. However, within a few days of settling in he declared he felt safe and happy and was enjoying the wonderful care and attention that he received from all the staff, particularly his main carer. My only regret was that he could not have been persuaded to move in sooner and enjoy himself.
Thank you for your heartfelt appreciation and review of our care. Our team really enjoyed getting to know your father to make his stay with us as comfortable and meaningful as possible. I will pass on your very kind comments to our wonderful team. Thank you.

Hi, I am Chris and I am looking forward to meeting you all.
I am an award-winning Executive Chef, who has worked internationally in luxury hotels and private dining organisations across the world. I cannot wait to share my wealth of knowledge of local, national and international food with our residents at Elgar Court.

Hello, my name is Dan and I am a Chef at Elgar Court. I have worked at a number of restaurants and enjoy learning something new ever day to please our residents.
In my spare time my interests are cars and eating out with friends.

After a 30-year career as a Police Officer, I learned that I was happiest when helping people. Seven years managing holiday camps developed a skillset in maintenance and I’ve always loved a challenge. Head of Maintenance at the brand new Elgar Court means I get to combine all three and I can’t wait to welcome you to our beautiful new home.

Hello, my name is Sarah and our team will ensure everything is just 'right' and more for our residents! I am a highly experienced housekeeper from working in a number of luxury residential homes. I am looking forward to getting to know and spending time, with each of our residents and making a difference in their daily life.

Hello, My name is Kerrie and I provide unique life enrichment for residents at Elgar Court. I moved to Malvern 12 years ago to live with my fiance and we have two tortoises and a snake. I love to play Dungeons and Dragons with my friends. I am very 'outdoorsy' and used to riding horses and competing nationally in athletics, specialising in track and field for Redditch and Bromsgrove Athletics Club.
In my spare time, I love being in the kitchen and making treats for my family.

Hello, my name is Vicky and I am here to welcome you and everyone who visits Elgar Court. I will ensure your stay goes smoothly and I am available to answer any questions you have about your stay. I have lived in Malvern for many years with my family and enjoy going to the theatre and reading. I look forward to getting to know our residents and meeting all our visitors.

Hello, my name is Fran. I've worked as a carer for 9 years, and I love what I do. I love getting to know different kinds of people and building relationships with them, especially those with advanced dementia. It brings me great joy to engage and help empower my residents to live the fullest lives possible. I can be quiet, but I can also be very silly!
Outside of work, I love to collect vintage clothing, travel abroad, walk our local hills, sing and spend time with my family.

Kerry Ann is a qualified nurse and has extensive experience in care. She has lived abroad and has now settled in Malvern to be near her family.

Stephanie joined us in January 2026 to take care of all our operational requirements at Elgar Court. She has a degree in Law and was also a Detective Constable for most of her life - so we are in very safe hands!
In her spare time, Stephanie is an avid reader and a wine connoisseur!
