For my first visit, I was greeted with a warm smile as though the staff knew me which was comforting. I was made to feel welcome whilst my nan was son her way to me. During my visit, Nan needed some care which the staff did with kindness and respect. It was a nice visit, in a beautiful environment and nan seems happy here.
We really appreciate your kind feedback and always strive to provide the best experience for our residents and their families. Thank you.
Elgar Court Care Home provides excellent care with amazing staff. The rooms are beautifully presented and well-kept. Management and reception staff are welcoming and always helpful. Nothing is too much trouble and our mother, who has dementia, is well cared for. I would recommend this home.
It's always a pleasure to meet families of our residents and to show the care and commitment we give to their loved ones. Families and friends who visit are an integral part of our home's life and we look forward to seeing you again.
Having not been looking forward to the respite care, because I hadn't been in a care home before, I was very pleased with all aspects of my care and attention given to me.
Thank you very much for letting us know that your experience of our care made a difference to how you view residential care. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay with us and I will pass this on to our team. Kindest regards, Home Services Advisor.
From the moment Mum was taken into the home she was grateful and made to feel at home. The staff were amazing and nothing was an issue. The home is very clean, modern but with a homely feel. Would 100% recommend. Thank you all.
Thank you so much for this wonderful review which I will share with our hardworking team. We always strive to make every resident comfortable and at home at Elgar Court. Thank you again. Kindest regards.
Moving a parent with dementia into a care home is one of life's most difficult moments. I am so grateful for your kind, gentle and consistent support in the run up to and during the move. From management to admin staff and nursing/caring staff, you have all been wonderful - even offering me the occasional hug when I needed it most. On the day of admission, as we walked in everybody knew my father's name: it put a smile on his face and made him feel important/restored some agency. We are only just on day 3, but from what I have seen so far I have absolutely no doubt that you will all do everything you can to make each moment for my father the best that it can be. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
Thank you so much for your wonderful praise and review of our staff, care and the support we provide for your father at Elgar Court. We constantly aim to ensure our residents' lives are enriched with our support every day, whilst receiving our highest quality of care. I will proudly share your...

All of the staff listen and give 100% effort into everything they do for my sister.
My sister's individual needs are always cared for with understanding.
Thank you so much for your generous review. We really enjoy caring for our residents and getting to know each one. I will share your marvellous comments with the team!
Well cared for during two weeks respire care, with the assistance needed to recover mobility. The staff ready to help and soon became friends. The building is well designed and is already a social and welcoming community.
Thank you James for your wonderful review of our care and staff. This means a lot to us all at Elgar Court, and as we continue to grow we will always ensure the quality of our care and services is at the forefront of what we do. Thank you also for the delicious tin of luxury biscuits you dropped in...
My mum recently had some respite care at Elgar Court. They made myself and my mum very welcome on our first visit to have a look around. Mum had a wonderful couple of weeks' stay and thoroughly enjoyed the freshly baked cakes and activities. Thank you, Elgar Court!
Dear Lorraine, thank you so much for your review of your mum's stay; it's great to hear that your mum enjoyed herself, and we look forward to seeing her again. And of course, please do drop in any time with your mum. Best wishes.
Well, I visited my mother on the 14th of November, she had already stayed at Elgar Care home for 4 nights, instantly I was welcomed in by the staff and directed to my mum. She looked great, full of smiles and enjoying life there, participating in all the activities which they had to offer from the manager and her wonderful team. I arrived about 5.30 pm not knowing it was dinner time but I sat with my mum who already made friends with other residents. Not 1 of them had a bad word to say about the, well, hotel, it's that nice a place. The food looked excellent, and I was offered sausage, chips, gravy and a drink, lovely food. Mum showed me to her lodgings. Wow, faultless. This is by far an exceptional place, second to none. I cannot thank the manager and her wonderful team enough.
Kind regards,
Naomi
I have been fortunate to stay at Barchester Elgar Court Care Home for several weeks whilst visiting the UK to see my daughter who lives nearby but is at work all day and has her own life to lead. I only have positive comments to make in spite of being a bit quiet and anxious to start with. I have enjoyed the bright modern decor of the building itself, the spacious bed outside areas provide a good opportunity for residents, visitors to meet informally. The staff are committed and caring. They treat the resident with respect and patient and are very cheerful and helpful.
Thank you for your very kind words. It is an absolute pleasure having you to stay with us, and we are so glad you enjoy your experience of the care we provide. Thank you from all of the team. Kind regards, Naomi
Add to that the views of the Malvern Hills, and the amenities and location are unbeatable. Elgar Court is truly comparable to an upscale boutique hotel. Checking it out for a friend, I found its ambience warm and welcoming. It takes a very special person to be a caregiver, and every staff member I met was genuinely kind and friendly, and always ready to happily and unhurriedly answer questions. With the entire admission process tactfully and sympathetically administered, it’s by far the best I have seen.
Thank you for the lovely review of Elgar Court and the kind comments about our wonderful caring staff team. Our aim is for our residents' lives is to be cared for and to be enriched every day. Thank you again for the lovely review of our home. Kindest regards, Naomi
My parents have been welcomed and their special needs accommodated.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review of the care and life enrichment we provide your parents at Elgar Court. We will always strive for excellent service at Elgar Court, and we will share your kind comments with our hardworking team. Kindest Regards.
My elderly but fiercely independent parents-in-law have been struggling at home for some time, but it became obvious that this could not continue. We (and my mother-in-law) had looked at various care homes, and Elgar Court was the clear favourite. We had an assessment booked when my father-in-law deteriorated and was admitted to the hospital. We were delighted and relieved when Elgar agreed to accept mother-in-law the very next day. The staff have been so kind and patient with her, doing their utmost to support her rigid habits whilst gently persuading her into a healthier routine. She is very keen to see her husband as often as possible, and not only has Elgar provided a member of staff to accompany her on the time-consuming visits, but one of the care staff and her husband gave up their free afternoon to take her and stay with her for several hours, refusing any payment. She and we cannot praise the staff highly enough.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review of the care and lifestyle support we provide your mother-in-law at Elgar Court. Our aim is to ensure our resident's lives are enriched with our support every day whilst receiving our highest quality of care. We will always strive for excellence at Elgar...
My mother was given plenty of time to sit in her prospective room, and chat to members of staff, while she adjusted to the idea of living there. The welcome and kindness she received over several visits reassured her every time.
Since she moved in she has been encouraged to make the room her own, and she never has anything but praise for the kindness and attention she receives from every single member of staff. As she and the home staff get to know each other, Mum is gaining confidence to ask for help when needed. She loves having access to the outside from her room, and over time we are hoping that the grounds will be developed to allow more areas to walk and sit.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review about our care your mother has received from us. We are particularly pleased that your mother is gradually seeking our support and services when needed, and enjoying the company of new friends she has made in our home.
The care and attention has been fantastic from day one. All our family have been given a very warm welcome.
Thank you so much for your thoughtful review of the home we provide your parents at Elgar Court. We will always continue to give outstanding care at Elgar Court, and we will share your kind comments with our hardworking team. Kindest Regards.
Now they are there, they seem to have taken on a new lease of life, being able to socialise and enjoy the wonderful facilities they now have access to.
Well done to the manager and all her team; you have made this a wonderful experience for them.
Dear Chris, thank you so much for your wonderful review about our care and the social enrichment your Aunt and her partner have received from us. They are both incredibly content here at Elgar Court, as they have the reassurance of our lovely teams providing around-the-clock care support if and...
What a wonderful caring place. My mum in law was adamant that she would not go into a care home. At 98 the family decided the time had come and we brought her on a 5 hour trip to Elgar Court. She had a terrible journey and we arrived after 19.30, but all the staff were absolutely wonderful, she was looked after very well. The 'care for her started as she came through the doors'. A staff member had stayed on to do an assessment, the caring staff took on her care, we were all offered a great meal, and we left her well fed and comfortable in bed. After 8 days at Elgar Court, she says it a marvellous place, and indeed it is, costly but certainly value for money. Great care and life enrichment. Thank you every one of you

I am an award-winning Executive Chef, who has worked internationally in luxury hotels and private dining organisations across the world. I cannot wait to share my wealth of knowledge of local, national and international food with our residents at Elgar Court.

Hello, my name is Dan and I am a Chef at Elgar Court. I have worked at a number of restaurants and enjoy learning something new ever day to please our residents.
In my spare time my interests are cars and eating out with friends.

After a 30-year career as a Police Officer, I learned that I was happiest when helping people. Seven years managing holiday camps developed a skillset in maintenance and I’ve always loved a challenge. Head of Maintenance at the brand new Elgar Court means I get to combine all three and I can’t wait to welcome you to our beautiful new home.

Hello, my name is Sarah and our team will ensure everything is just 'right' and more for our residents! I am a highly experienced housekeeper from working in a number of luxury residential homes. Hello, My name is Kerrie and I provide unique life enrichment for residents at Elgar Court. I moved to Malvern 12 years ago to live with my fiance and we have two tortoises and a snake. I love to play Dungeons and Dragons with my friends. I am very 'outdoorsy' and used to riding horses and competing nationally in athletics, specialising in track and field for Redditch and Bromsgrove Athletics Club.
In my spare time, I love being in the kitchen and making treats for my family.

Hello, my name is Vicky and I am here to welcome you and everyone who visits Elgar Court. I will ensure your stay goes smoothly and I am available to answer any questions you have about your stay. I have lived in Malvern for many years with my family and enjoy going to the theatre and reading. I look forward to getting to know our residents and meeting all our visitors.

Hello, my name is Fran. I've worked as a carer for 9 years, and I love what I do. I love getting to know different kinds of people and building relationships with them, especially those with advanced dementia. It brings me great joy to engage and help empower my residents to live the fullest lives possible. I can be quiet, but I can also be very silly!
Outside of work, I love to collect vintage clothing, travel abroad, walk our local hills, sing and spend time with my family.

Kerry Ann is a qualified nurse and has extensive experience in care. She has lived abroad and has now settled in Malvern to be near her family.

Stephanie joined us in January 2026 to take care of all our operational requirements at Elgar Court. She has a degree in Law and was also a Detective Constable for most of her life - so we are in very safe hands!
In her spare time, Stephanie is an avid reader and a wine connoisseur!
