My wife has been here >3m. She has been helped throughout her transitions, as have I. Your staff is your strength, though we have no fault to find in your excellent organisation & facilities. Seperation after 66 years marriage is no neat, but her now living in Mill House where I am welcomed daily
visiting has done us both good. Thank you.

I am so glad my mum came to live in The Mill House as a resident. I keep telling my friends and family Mum is living in a fantastic care home, in fact it's like being in a 5-star care hotel. The facilities are second to none, with the residents' rooms well kitted out. The staff are very friendly and
caring, you as relatives feel like being part of a family.

I am always so grateful for the care and attention given to my beautiful sister in law Freda. The thought and attention to all stails is second to none and five star. Thank you to Sharleen, Jaki and Jodie and of course their team of first class carers. It makes an enourmous difference to mind and
her brothers life knowing she is here at The Mill House. Thank you. x

My father Tony has been in the care of Mill House since Dec 2024. His care has been excellent & consistently we recieve updates on his health + happiness. My dad will tell you himself the carers have been chosen for their caring nature, inteligence, brilliant work ethic and immaculate turn out. Dad
mentions on a daily basis just how excellent certain members of staff have been towards him. The definately raise his spirits!

We moved my mother into The Mill House in January this year. She was failing in health and not responding to care in her previous home. The staff at the Mill House made it their responsibility to care and motivate her towards recovery. Since the move she has regained both physical strength and
cognitive awareness. She is very happy and the staff have been the key factor in her change. A lovely home.

My husband was assessed by The Mill House for respite care. I was very thorough in describing his needs and they were happy to accept him. He fell 16 times in the 2 weeks he was there. There was a lack of communication between the home and myself and between one shift and the next. Remembering that
my husband has Alzheimers and needs others to help him on and off the toilet, which they were aware of, I feel he should not have been accepted there. The staff were lovely with him, but his needs were not met. On coming home, he fell on the doorstep and is now in hospital. There is no duty manager on at night.

My mother moved in to The Mill House in September 2024 and we are really sad to have to move her into a nursing home due to her being diagnosed with a rare brain condition and her needs being out of the scope of what can be managed at the home.
Her time at the home has been a happy one, she
settled quickly and made many friends and enjoyed the varied range of activities on offer . The Mill House is a beautiful home which feels more like a lovely hotel and it is a pleasure to visit and spend time in lovely surroundings. The staff have truly gone above and beyond to adapt to mums ever changing symptoms and have done their very best to help her and us navigate a difficult time. The management have been outstanding in their support with the difficulties we have faced and their door has always been open .
We are sad she is having to move on but also grateful to the Mill House for their support. A beautiful home highly recommended .

The staff are all so, so caring, patient and address every need. I will miss visiting my parents in there, nothing to Mill House is a problem. Really welcoming, lots of activities. Fabulous surroundings and comfort but what makes this place is the commitment

My very elderly mother came to The Mill House for respite care, but deteriorated and died a few days after coming.
The home is beautifully presented, but more importantly, the staff were all incredibly kind and caring. Altogether a first class experience.

Mill House staff continue to provide outstanding care to my parents, who live in an assisted living apartment. Without exception, the staff give them exceptional support, always with a smile, even when it must be tough going! Recently my mother was in hospital for a month and they did a sterling job
keeping my dad upbeat, and with her aftercare on return.

Unbelievable care. My sister could not be happier and that makes us happy. Over the past year life has had its challenges for me and my partner and knowing she is safe and cared for means everything. Exceptional and thoughtful - high standards all round. Great management. Thank you from us all.

Just has 4 weeks respite with my husband in Mill House. It was a great experience had lots of rest and looked after with love and care by amazing staff. Very professional and caring. Missing it already.

My Mother-in-law has been at The Mill since it has been open. She has been at the end of her life for the past three years at least four times the doctor has told us she had twenty-four hours to live. The carers at The Mill House say she is not going anywhere, she is still here because of the care
and love of the staff at The Mill House.
I would not hesitate to recommend The Mill House to anybody who needs the services.
If it was not for the care of the staff and the attention to detail she would have died years ago. Well done keep it up.

My mother has been in the care of the manager for over 6 years and it's only with the care she has received that my mother is here today.

The staff at The Mill House are excellent they show that nothing is too much trouble you can see that the residences are all happy clean and very well looked after.
The Mill House has a homely atmosphere and they have a lot of entertainment.
My sister and myself enjoy Tuesday when they have
mother and toddler group on.

The Mill House is more like a 5 star hotel than a care home. The home is spotless, the facilities for residents and visitors are excellent. The staff are all friendly and accommodating. The care and attention my mum receives is outstanding. We could not be more happier that my mum is in this superb

The Mill House is a light, airy and very comfortable home with a large garden. All rooms are carefully and appropriately furnished in contemporary style. There is a welcoming atmosphere, all the staff are friendly and seem to work well as a team with a caring and cheerful approach to residents. Mill

On walking in it is an excellent visual impression with a lovely light and welcoming atmosphere. The coffee bar makes a sociable and friendly community hub. Every member of staff has been kind, helpful and caring not only to residents but to all who enter. Nothing seems too much trouble. The food is
excellent, the service in the restaurant is tailored to the individuals. The service in communal areas and to the rooms is excellent, cleanliness outstanding. My sister could not have a better service anywhere. Frequent visits out, Brilliant.

The Mill House is modern, light and spacious. Lounge and garden are very well furnished with modern, comfortable chairs and tables. The garden is very well laid out with paths and benches, a wonderful place to sit out in the summer. Most importantly, all the staff are very caring and cheerful and
work very well as a team.

My mum came to The Mill House in September 2024. We looked at 10 care homes but knew straight away that The Mill House was the right choice for my mum. The home is stunning, it feels like a luxury hotel rather than a care home. The staff are wonderful and my mum receives a high level of care. There
are daily activities, trips out and they even have their own canal barge. My mum is happy, we are happy. Communication is excellent and we know my mum is cared for, well-fed, warm and comfortable. This is a five-star care home on all levels.
