View Full Details of Nightingale Care and Nursing HomeMy mum has recently mved to Nightingale as her dementia has progressed. She has settled in well and all the staff have been welcoming to her. They have promptly responded to her needs and it has given me peace of mind to know that she is being well looked after.
After leaving the hospital, my mother required full-time care. There was space at the Nightingale Care and Nursing Home, and whilst it is not the closest to where I live, it was certainly a very good decision. The staff are excellent, super friendly and helpful. Her room is very good, spacious, with an ensuite and all newly decorated. She is able to have her personal belongings - pictures on the walls, which makes it very homely. My mum always looks smart and clean. The care is very good. Would highly recommend.
Mum well cared for by all carers staff always welcoming to visitors management and nursing team do their best to be available to answer questions on all occasions
Staff and management caring. my mother is very happy here.
I went to view Nightingdale in April 2024. and I was impressed with the condition of building and how friendly the staff were. My dads care has been excellent and let us know of any changes in alzeimers we of a family are very thankful. and when mums goes to see him they make my mum feel at home.
The utmost care was given to my mum-in-law in the short time she was in the Nightingale. She was happy and content in the knowledge she was being so very well looked after. As a family, we were kept informed every step of the way, i.e. if she was unwell or the staff had any concerns. The atmosphere in the home is very happy, and the staff are all approachable. They are all our guardian angels. Thank you for everything.
I first went to view the Nightingale in June and was immediately impressed with the condition of the building and how friendly the staff were. My mum only lived there for six months due to her passing. The staff were helpful and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. The staff always kept us informed if there were any issues. My mum made some close friends and absolutely loved her time there. I wouldn't have chosen anywhere else for her to stay.
The staff at this nursing home are lovely, but they are so short on staff. When we visit my mum you can't get in. You end up ringing up on your phone and sometimes no one answers. I don't know why the buzzer is on the door because no one answers. It's not because they are rude, but haven't got time because no staff. Would I recommend this home? No, unless more staff comes and it's dangerous to the residents I believe.
