There are times in your life that are really hard and it is the people around you that help you get through. When I decided to put dad into Henbrook I felt guilty like I had failed in my bid to look after him and keep my promise to mum. The staff were amazing helped him settle, helped me come to
realise I had made a great decision. Sadly today we lost my father, he chose to spend his last week at Henbrook not in hospital. Every minute of the last week the staff have showed compassion, support empathy and love not only for my dad but for me and my family. They have gone above and beyond. Today I'm not only grieving the loss of my dad but also of a family of staff I had known only 6 months but who had become an extension of my family and most of all friends. I will miss coming into the home and seeing all of you Thank you for absolutely everything and for the support shown in those final days.

We had an impromptu tour including laundry and kitchen from a member of the entertainment team, who demonstrated his passion for the place and his role.
We called late morning when mum was ready to be discharged from hospital. The person we needed was not on site but called us back and made
arrangements for a move the next day (new years eve) not the easiest time of the year.
Mums face was a picture of joy as she was wheeled through the door. We had been offered food whilst waiting.
Mum was exhausted but loved her room, she raved about the full English breakfast and staff made sure she had another the next day. Staff could not do enough to make her feel welcome.
Mum has started to join the activities, and we loved a picture on the social media group of her wearing a balloon crown.
Friday she entertained my wife with Fish, Chips, and Prosecco.
Henbrook is nothing like a an 'old peoples home.' It is somewhere between a care home and hotel. It is her home.

I spent 11 days at Henbrook House.
I enjoyed my stay. I was well cared for, treated with dignity and respect.
Very comfortable with staff who were very attentive. Plenty of interesting activities taking place. Good food and good social events for all to participate in. Being able to have my
hair and nails done on site was a real luxury.
Thank you to all the staff at Henbrook.
19 January 2026
My Mum has been a resident here for 4 months now.
We looked at a number of homes in the area and this one was just perfect for her.
The building, accommodation and staff are first class.
The important thing for us is that mum is safe, happy and taken care of and these are all taken care of here.
19 January 2026
It was very hard & emotional to make a decision to settle mum at Henbrook House.
The initial telephone queries were reassuring and understanding & empathy was given.
The moment we walked in the door everybody was so welcoming, helpful & kind.
Henbrook House staff are happy, friendly
& positive. They encourage mum to join in with activities & reassure her to rebuild her confidence.
There is always someone who will advise you if you have a problem or question.

My Dad has settled in well here and it quickly felt like home for him. They were able to collect him with their transport and his room when he arrived was immaculate, homely and with special touches like magazines.
The care staff are friendly and approachable and have taken time to get to know him.
The food is brilliant very high quality and being able to eat lunch here with him is lovely especially as we can no longer take him out.
The activities here have been great lots of events and music with the highlight being a miniature pony that Dad loved. He sees the puppy which comes in weekly and he looks forward to that.
The care staff have managed his complex medications well and have collaborated with the district nurses when needed.
I feel reassured he is safe and well cared for and he classes here as home. You can't put a price on that.
10 December 2025
Dad has been a resident since April 2025, and has settled in and now calls Henbrook home. The staff are amazing, friendly and always helpful.
The food is exceptional and although Dad doesn't eat much, he really enjoys the food. My sister and I have had lunch with Dad a couple of times and it's
lovely that we can do that.
One little negative point is that when I visit Dad after work in the week at just after 17:30, there is often no one on reception and I have to wait to be let in, and also when I take Dad out for a smoke we then can't get back in.
Henbrook is always clean, lovely and warm and is a very welcoming home. We know that Dad has everything he needs and can't fault the care at Henbrook

I can't speak highly enough about Henbrook House Care Home in St Neots. My mother has been a resident here for the past 5 months and the level of care has been truly remarkable.
Her health, happiness & wellbeing has been improving week on week.
Every member of the team has contributed to making
my mum feel welcome and happy with her stay at the home.
The gourmet food, healthy diet, group activities, medical care team, wellbeing program & the management team have all proved invaluable in the successful integration of mum into this wonderful home.
Henbrook's ethos of respect, empathy, support & care for all their residents is clearly heartfelt by all the team. They all go the extra mile to make everyone feel welcomed and part of a big family.
I'm looking forward to our mum continuing to enjoy her life & make the most of everything Henbrook's has to offer her going forwards.
Keep up the exceptional work Henbrook's & thank you.

A Lovely place with amazing rooms and ensuite shower facilities for every room, the entire place is beautifully furnished and very clean and very well run with amazing food with different places to eat and the staff can't be more helpful

My cousin came to Henbrook House in February 2025 for a rest bite. He is now a permanent resident. He needed to get back into a daily heathy routine. Having being diagnosed with dementia it was such a tough decision to make for him having lived in London his whole life. Henbrook have supported us
throughout giving us guidance and emotional support throughout this tough journey.
Hebrook has always felt like a 5* Hotel. the Cleanliness is outstanding. And the food is exceptional and meaningful! But what actually makes all the difference to us as a family is the entertainment!! This is on another level. Have singers/bands/ Children/ animals and days out. With a full itinerary weekly it's everything he needs. Interaction and socializing makes all the difference. We have seen a huge positive change in my cousins mental wellbeing and health.
I would highly recommend Henbrook for it's warm atmosphere and attentive staff.

My father initially came into Henbrook in April & is now a permanent resident, when he arrived he was in a poor state both physically (constant falls) and mentally and as a family we were really concerned about him.
After a little time to settle in, he has now thrived in the Henbrook culture and
when I now visit looks the best I have seen in a long time.
As stated in previous reviews when you walk into Henbrook it does not feel like you are coming into a care home more a 5 star all inclusive hotel.
Dad has to take lots of tablets for his Parkinsons (17 a day) but this does not phase the staff who prescribe in a super efficient manner.
The food is excellent ( I don't think Dad has left a crumb in food ever!!) varied & portion sizes just right.
The entertainment team do a great job coming up with trips and activities with the schedule changing weekly and has things included for everyone.
However, the biggest factor is all the staff who are amazing, so kind and caring to him.
15 April 2025
First class care which cannot be faulted. In many respects like a first class hotel The staff are dedicated and clearly enjoy their job. It is a real pleasure to visit and see the joy on the faces of residents.
15 April 2025
Mum arrived at Henbrook from hospital when she was bedbound and, at 97 with little chance of that changing. 3 months later, she is up, able to walk short distances and is enjoying life. The exceptional care she has received is a major factor. I can't visit without members of staff telling me of her
latest achievement. Thank you all at Henbrook.

Every week, as a childminder we bring a group of children to Henbrook. The children, full of energy and curiosity, engage in various activities with the residents - from simple crafts to interactive games and storytelling sessions. The children and residents have formed a special bond.
For the
elderly residents, these weekly visits provide social interaction, with a younger generation. Many residents seen smiling, engaging in lighthearted conversations, and even helping the children with certain tasks. For those with more limited mobility, the amazing staff ensured they can still participate by incorporating seated activities or sharing story books with the children.
These visits have created a positive, family-like atmosphere at Henbrook House. The residents and children look forward to the visits, it's clear that this initiative is more than just play; it's about fostering connections that bridge generations, providing emotional benefits to both young and old.
10 April 2025
I have been coming to Henbrook House as a regular volunteer now for nearly 12 months, and I can honestly say that this is a truly wonderful place. All of the staff I have encountered go above and beyond for the residents and I love our visits. The personal touch at Henbrook House is remarkable, and
the staff are always looking to make the experiences for the residents extra special. Well done Henbrook House.
09 April 2025
The care for the residents is exceptional, the home itself is the best I've seen and is the reason why I recommended it to a friend who has said the exact same thing. The visitation is great as family are able to visit and join in with daily activities! The activities are incredible and really
enhance the residents wellbeing both physically and mentally. I am very happy and content knowing that my family friend is living here with extraordinary care and most importantly she feels safe!
03 February 2025
Mum came to live with us following the death of my father and has been with us now for 3 years.
My wife requires breaks from caring for mum and we have tried other care home providers and can honestly say that the level of care, the facilities and friendly "can't do enough for you" approach to mums
stay is just fantastic.
Mum even asked if she could have her 80th birthday at Henbrook House Care Home and then a second birthday when she came home to us.
Henbrook said, of course and what, when and how many would you like
So mum had her brothers and there children (all in there 50's) on the day of her birthday and then another party on the weekend.
Mum has dementia and in her words " the whole of her birthday are such wonderful memories it's just a shame that dad wasn't with her "
Thank you all, from the care staff to the kitchen staff and everyone else involved.

My Nan has fairly complex needs and we had had a poor experience at a previous care provider. When we visited Henbrook House Care Home I knew it was the one. It has many lovely touches that should be standard across all care providers to offer a good quality of life, but sadly that is not the case.
All the staff are lovely and spent time getting to know my Nan on her arrival - the welcoming flowers in her lovely room was such a lovely touch.
The fact that I can visit on my birthday and have a private meal with my Nan has blown me away. Again this should be standard but just isn't. I am so happy that we found Henbrook House and that they were able to accommodate my Nan. I would recommend it - and I might just move in myself.

Where do I start? Henbrook House Care Home has been life changing for us. From the initial visit, the staff are excellent and always there to support you. The entertainment for the residents is outstanding and the team do an exceptional job with a weekly timetable. Henbrook house has an extremely
warm welcoming atmosphere where nothing is to much for them. The food is amazing! We feel like it's become our second home. Myself and my mother cannot thank Henbrook house enough for giving my grandma the quality of life she deserves!

My mother went into Henbrook House Care Home for respite care in October 2024 and has been there ever since as she liked it so much. The staff are very attentive and Mother feels well cared for. The activities and the activity manager are excellent, putting so much effort into entertaining. My
Mother is always getting involved. Any suggestions are acted upon and used as an avenue for further residents to get involved. The food is a high standard and all of the staff are friendly and work hard. The maintenance manager acts on issues very promptly and professionally. I am so pleased that Mum went into Henbrook House. I highly recommend it.
