She received a high level of care to suit her needs, and enjoyed the social contact with staff and fellow residents, all of whom were friendly and supportive. As a family, we were also treated with respect and compassion, and Mum's stay was arranged very efficiently. Thank you to everyone.
My mother spent two weeks at Furze Field Manor in July to experience respite care as she is planning to move in permanently some time in 2026. The staff, facilities & food were all first-class and she preferred the large, bright airy feel of the building compared to other (older) care homes which seemed rather 'tired'. Recommended.
My mother recently had two weeks of respite care at Furze Field Manor after a long stay in hospital. She was weak and unconfident on arrival, but after two weeks of first class care, she was a different person. She is now ready to go home and resume her independent life. The staff at Furze Feild Manor were wonderful with her and really helped her on the road to recovery. Highly recommended.

Having been invited to view Furzefield Manor Care Home by the General Manager we knew that this was the perfect choice for our relative living with dementia. All staff were welcoming and the attention/care given to the individual needs of the residents, was very impressive. The home build and facilities is of an exceptional standard, offering much comfort and incorporating varied activity areas such as, a cinema, hair salon, library, gardening areas, for those who live there. The entire team of employees at FFM work together well to create a welcoming, caring, safe and pleasant home environment for all residents, and their visiting relatives and friends. Thank you.
Furze Field Manor is an excellent care home. The staff and management are efficient and caring and are always willing to help. I have found that any concerns about the residents' care and health are dealt with immediately. Nothing appears to be too much trouble. I am confident that my partner is in a happy and safe place.
I went to Furze Field Manor for respite of 2 weeks and was pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome I received from staff and carers. The food was excellent, and I would get assistance at any time of day or night. I was sorry to leave, and with increasing debility, I may decide to move to Furze on a permanent basis.
My mums transition from living at home to living at Furze Field Manor has been seamless. We have all been well supported by the fantastic staff. Mum is really happy and she is looked after fantastically by the staff.
The care home is still settling down following an opening just over a year ago. The dedication and care of the nursing and cleaning staff is remarkable. The facilities are good but communication between the ground and first floor is not so good, with the first floor tending to be left out. Personally apart from the food which was terrible but a change of chef may have improved. I found the two week respite stay was exactly what I required. It is a very friendly and caring care home,
Having spent two weeks under your care. I have been well looked after and treated with care. At no time did I feel a nuisance to the staff, and they were always willing to help.
Our aunt has come for a 2-week respite stay and has had a splendid time, she has settled well & she has decided that this is the change of life that was needed. The staff are wonderful - they can't do enough. the environment is like a 5-star hotel, the space is beautiful! Actually, to be honest, I don't want to tell you all how good it is.

The facilities and meals are good, and recent efforts to improve his mobility have really helped him maintain his independence.
Excellent. Like entering a five-star hotel. It made all the difference having home-cooked food. I would visit again if possible. Thank you.
My mother spent 6 weeks respite at Furze Field Manor after being hospitalised with a serious illness. From the start all the staff were so kind, helpful and professional. Nothing was too much trouble. Beautifully appointed and with the feel of a 5 star hotel Furze Field has such a lovely happy atmosphere and I can't recommend it enough for the care it provides.
My aunt moved to Furze Field Manor after living in a care home in Haywards Heath for just over a year. Our experience there meant we were apprehensive about a new care home but our fears have been quick dispelled. Furze Field Manor is excellent. Everything about it is new and fresh. The standard of care so far seems excellent and is in a different league to the previous home. Staff genuinely care. They take time to get to know their residents. They work hard to encourage residents to make friends. My relative isn't just left in a chair and ignored, which typified our previous experience. The rooms and decor are immaculate. Really superb interior design. They are also kept spotless, and unlike our previous experience, clothes are respectfully and thoughtfully put away, so my relative can easily make her own clothes choices. The housekeeping standards are top class. Food: outstanding. Activities are a work in progress but not too bad so far. Management responsive. Overall very good.
An emergency occurred on the 5th of January when, after a fall, I damaged my left hip which required surgery. My main concern at the time was for my husband knowing is degree of problems, fully aware of his vulnerability, and I feared for his safety. It was with the help of a group which we were member she was able to act on my behalf in securing my husband a place in the home. Thankfully, he settled in well, and the experience has been a good one for him. Now, home safe and sound.
We have been really impressed by the staff at Furze Field Manor. My elderly aunt has a strong personality and can be quite resistant to change.
