With over 30 years of experience in the care sector as a Registered Nurse, Jacquie has dedicated her career to elderly care and care homes. Having worked as both a Registered Nurse and Home Manager, she has also taken on senior leadership roles as an Operations Area Manager and Regional Manager for two large healthcare companies. However, her passion for hands-on care led her back to the role of Home Manager, where she thrives on daily interactions with residents and their families.
Jacquie remains a Registered Nurse to this day, believing it is essential to keep her clinical skills active. Her primary responsibilities include ensuring the highest standards of care for residents, overseeing the smooth running of the home, and guiding her team to deliver exceptional, person-centred care that promotes independence, privacy, and dignity.
What Jacquie loves most about her role is the personal connections she builds—whether it’s with residents, their families, or her care team. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and three lively Jack Russells and escaping to Spain, where she can relax with a good book.
Sara has worked in care for over 10 years.
She began her journey as a Senior Care Assistant, where she developed a deep passion for dementia care, leading to her completing her NVQ Level 3 and progress to the role of Team Lead.
Her passion remains centered on ensuring that those living with dementia, or in a care home setting, experience a quality of life filled with care, empathy, and compassion. She believes this is her role and purpose. Now, as the Care Manager, she continues to lead with these values, striving to provide meaningful interaction and engagement for every resident, while also supporting their families as they navigate the care journey.
Yasmin has owned and run several businesses, including catering, building, and design, before joining the care sector at Oyster. She enjoys being in a care environment and being part of a team that can make a difference in people’s lives. Yasmin’s experience with several family members in care settings led her to choose to work at Furze Field.
A perfectionist with a keen attention to detail, she is passionate about ensuring that our residents feel at home and comfortable in a spotless environment.
In her personal life, Yasmin enjoys family time and cooking for loved ones. An animal lover, she cares for her menagerie, which includes several neighborhood cats and a goose named Dolly!
