Very grand building on entry up the drive. Exquisite when you walk into the entrance hall, warm and welcoming - high quality furniture and furnishings throughout. Outstanding cleanliness throughout. All staff are kind, considerate and very helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Food is excellent with
such choice. My father absolutely loves living here and has made many friends. Always something to do as there are lots of activities.

My grandfather has just moved into this most beautiful home. All furniture and furnishings are of such good quality - everywhere is so clean and all staff are so friendly and very helpful. The conservatory is very much his favourite place which looks out into the garden. I would most definitely
recommend this home to anyone.

My 4 months stay here has been very beneficial for my recovery from a back injury. I was able to walk along the very spacious and bright long corridors every day, stopping if I wished in one of several beautifully decorated and homely lounges. I would like to praise the staff for being very
friendly, caring, and patient with everyone. I will definitely miss "The Grange" which has been a home from home, and the wonderful staff. Would highly recommend.

I was a service user at St Cross Grange Care Home for a respite week following surgery. The home is clean and well staffed, the food is plenty, varied and tastefully cooked and presented. There are plenty of spaces to sit- other than one's room- on one's own or with visitors. The staff knew their
residents by name and their physical and dietary needs. It's a home I could recommend to others.

I had been my mother's primary carer for 8 years and was concerned about her care once she had deteriorated and I could not look after her anymore. St Cross Grange is an excellent facility and have provided her with excellent care in a kind and loving environment. She has advanced dementia but is
happy and content thanks to the superb staff. I cannot praise them enough.

We needed to find a nursing home urgently for my 93 year old mum after a significant fall. St Cross Grange were brilliant from the start. Everyone in the team has made mum feel welcome and we feel very supported as a family. All the staff are approachable and friendly and we feel that mum's new
nursing needs are being very well accommodated.

My husband received the highest quality of nursing and personal care until he passed away. Their support was beyond amazing. The home even invested in a new special bed in order to aid his comfort and safety in his last few weeks.

So impressed with all the staff. Attentive, approachable, honest and professional. Whenever any issues are needed to be discussed they are dealt with quickly and politely. It is also clear that all the staff know my Dad personally. Thank you.

My husband Harry has been at St Cross since August 2024. I have been 100% happy with his care. They are always ready to listen.

Having spent four weeks in hospital it was an absolute joy to come to St Cross Grane. It felt like coming home to family. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly.

From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted with smiles, help and care. All departments go above and beyond to make St Cross Grange feel like home. My husband and I came here for a short break and were so happy we extended it for two extra weeks.

We originally booked my mother into St. Cross for respite a year ago while we were on holiday, she really enjoyed the company and security so much, that she asked if she could stay! Which came as a welcome surprise to me and the family.
She still enjoys a certain amount of independence, choosing
what and where she eats, what activities she takes part in etc.
There's always a warm and friendly welcome from all of the staff when we visit and I'm pleased to say mum is still very happy a year on. All credit to the staff and management at
St Cross Grange.

My Dad was a resident for 6 months and was receiving end of life care. I visited approximately 30 homes in the process of finding somewhere for both of my parents, so I have a good idea of what's available. I have direct experience of another care home in Winchester, and the contrast is stark.
St
Cross is beautifully decorated and has zero atmosphere . Housekeeping and carers are wonderful. Reception ignore your arrival more often than they look up and say hello. The food sounds great on paper, but is overcooked. More specifically it did not meet my Dad's needs. The team appeared to be doing something about it only for me to have to repeat the same conversation mutliple times.
The leadership and lack of focus is what lets this place down, and the utter lack of empathy. Within an hour of being told of my Dad's death the nurse was chasing me about funeral plans at the direction of the General Manager. Incredibly insensitive treatment and I would not recommend this for your loved ones.

Staff are polite. The food is excellent with a brilliant chef. I have enjoyed my short stay.

My mum came to St Cross Grange for end of life care. The admission process was straightforward and arranged promptly. She was made to feel at home immediately. Both my mum and her many visitors enjoyed the welcoming and calm atmosphere that prevails throughout the home. She felt very well cared
for, day and night ( night time cups of tea were very welcome!)She loved the food and the staff who took such trouble preparing it for residents. The catering staff also went out of their way to accommodate the dietary requirements of her visitors. The turn around time for laundry amazed her-usually returned the same day, and always with a smile and a chat from the domestic staff. She felt safe in the knowledge that when medical problems arose appropriate advice was sort and acted upon promptly. As family we too were made to feel welcome and part of the St Cross Grange community.
I know my mum would have no hesitation in recommending this home.

The staff whether care staff, nurses, cleaners, catering staff and management are kind, caring, helpful and very understanding of my husband's deteriorating condition. They are also very considerate of my position as a wife and look after my interests as well. Since new management took over the home
has become a happy place for residents and families.
