View Full Details of Barchester Bayleaf Care HomeDad moved into Bayleaf after a stroke in April. The care he receives is excellent and as a family we are grateful to know he is being well cared for. All The staff are caring and often make Dad laugh. I never thought we would be able to go out as a family but Bayleaf has made this possible going out for trips in the minibus with Dad in his wheelchair. Bayleaf has been a great find and we appreciate all they do.
After a life changing event, we unfortunately came to the realisation that dad would not be able to go back to his home. Having searched for his new forever home we decided upon Bayleaf. Since he has become a resident, he has been met with nothing but the highest standards of care. All members of staff, without exception, are kind, caring and compassionate. We are made to feel like part of their family too! Being a traditional eater, chef Stephan has adapted the menu choice and provided food he enjoys. To our surprise, he has taken part in and enjoyed trips out in the minibus. It is great that relatives are invited along to take part and be involved outside of the home. After a stressful few months visiting dad to ensure he has eaten and has been looked after, we are now visiting to spend quality time with him knowing he is well looked after if we are not there.
My Dad is currently a resident living here. It's a beautiful, caring, safe place to live. My Dad is very happy living here the staff are wonderful and attentive to all his needs.
We really enjoyed Dads respite stay at Bayleaf. Everyone was really caring and helpful and really supported Dad well. A great place. He has enjoyed the stay. Great food as well. Dad always commented on the food standart. Sorry to be leaving! Thankyou for everything.
I visited Bayleaf prior to opening with a view to moving a friend there. I was so impressed: The decor was impressive and was obviously thought out with great care. The bedrooms and ensuites all a good site and the views from the rooms are all good. Everything was in place to deal with anyone from independent clients to clients with high dependency needs. The staff were very impressive, everyone appears to be highly trained, they are friendly, thoughtful and show a high level of care provision; from the carers to the chef and associated staff. I could not recommend them more highly. Thank you.
A wonderfully appointed care home. All the staff are very friendly, incredibly helpful & very caring.
Lovely place, luxury & very homely Wonderful staff, I have every confidence residents will be very well looked after her, because nothing is too much trouble.
From first entering Bayleaf I have experienced total friendly help in all aspects of care and great consideration. All staff are a credit to your organisation and could not be more helpfull. Rooms are set out very well. Adjustable beds excelent. Gardens good and easy to walk around even with a frame. Outings interesting. All round a very good place to be.
I spent 2 weeks respite care at Bayleaf whilst my wife had a holiday. I was welcomed with open arms by all the management and staff. I felt totally at home throughout my stay and all my care was met with thought and respect. It was thoughtful to make it possible for me to have a double bed which I am used to at home. My beautiful room led straight out into the garden where I could sit comfortably to enjoy the great weather. I hope I may be allowed to stay again at Bay Leaf Care Home.
