Bayleaf care home has honestly been a life line for my family. My dad first came here for respite care and then went to live independantly at a retirement village. When he found this too much to cope with we were thrilled that Bayleaf could accomodate him permanently. In just 4 weeks he has improved
massively and is so well cared for. The staff are wonderful and cannot do enough for him. It's safe to say both my dad and my family are very happy.

We contacted Bayleaf regarding respite care for my brother-in-law and had the most amazing experience totally not what I expected at all. From the first contact with reception to when he left was amazing. They quickly expedited his arrival and he was in within a couple of days, they arranged the day
of of coming in to meet our needs,
The welcome and care he received was amazing. The staff were very attentive and interacted with him. He was very touched that they always remembered the name of his dog which means so much to him.
The variety and selection of Meals were fabulous. I even got to sample a lunchtime meal.
The café area is lovely area to use whilst visiting members of family and was enjoyed by my family also
His stay was only for a week as an introduction to Life at Bayleaf, but he will definitely be returning as and when needed with a view to becoming a resident full-time.
The staff at Bayleaf made us feel at ease with the whole situation many thanks to everyone

Dad moved into Bayleaf after a stroke in April. The care he receives is excellent and as a family we are grateful to know he is being well cared for. All
The staff are caring and often make Dad laugh. I never thought we would be able to go out as a family but Bayleaf has made this possible going out
for trips in the minibus with Dad in his wheelchair. Bayleaf has been a great find and we appreciate all they do.

After a life changing event, we unfortunately came to the realisation that dad would not be able to go back to his home. Having searched for his new forever home we decided upon Bayleaf. Since he has become a resident, he has been met with nothing but the highest standards of care. All members of staff,
without exception, are kind, caring and compassionate. We are made to feel like part of their family too!
Being a traditional eater, chef Stephan has adapted the menu choice and provided food he enjoys.
To our surprise, he has taken part in and enjoyed trips out in the minibus. It is great that relatives are invited along to take part and be involved outside of the home.
After a stressful few months visiting dad to ensure he has eaten and has been looked after, we are now visiting to spend quality time with him knowing he is well looked after if we are not there.

We really enjoyed Dads respite stay at Bayleaf.
Everyone was really caring and helpful and really supported Dad well. A great place. He has enjoyed the stay.
Great food as well. Dad always commented on the food standart.

I visited Bayleaf prior to opening with a view to moving a friend there. I was so impressed: The decor was impressive and was obviously thought out with great care. The bedrooms and ensuites all a good site and the views from the rooms are all good. Everything was in place to deal with anyone from
independent clients to clients with high dependency needs.
The staff were very impressive, everyone appears to be highly trained, they are friendly, thoughtful and show a high level of care provision; from the carers to the chef and associated staff. I could not recommend them more highly. Thank you.

From first entering Bayleaf I have experienced total friendly help in all aspects of care and great consideration. All staff are a credit to your organisation and could not be more helpfull. Rooms are set out very well. Adjustable beds excelent. Gardens good and easy to walk around even with a frame.
Outings interesting. All round a very good place to be.

I spent 2 weeks respite care at Bayleaf whilst my wife had a holiday. I was welcomed with open arms by all the management and staff. I felt totally at home throughout my stay and all my care was met with thought and respect. It was thoughtful to make it possible for me to have a double bed which I am
used to at home. My beautiful room led straight out into the garden where I could sit comfortably to enjoy the great weather. I hope I may be allowed to stay again at Bay Leaf Care Home.

I am extremely passionate about supporting and building the care team for Bayleaf following our life enrichment programme. I have worked in the care sector for 27 years in a variety of different roles: in nursing, residential care, learning disabilities and mental health and acquired brain injury. I have been a General Manager for over 10 years.
I believe strongly in collaborative care, working closely with residents, families and healthcare professionals. My door is always open if I can be of any help with your care enquiry. Please do not hesitate to call or pop in for a coffee and a chat. I feel extremely passionate about welcoming families and supporting them through finding care for a loved one.
In my free time, I enjoy exercising and being outdoors.
