Hi, my name is Katie Wilkinson, and I am the General Manager safeguarding lead for Bayleaf. Welcome to our page!

I am extremely passionate about supporting and building the care team for Bayleaf following our life enrichment programme. I have worked in the care sector for 27 years in a variety of different roles: in nursing, residential care, learning disabilities and mental health and acquired brain injury. I have been a General Manager for over 10 years.
I believe strongly in collaborative care, working closely with residents, families and healthcare professionals. My door is always open if I can be of any help with your care enquiry. Please do not hesitate to call or pop in for a coffee and a chat. I feel extremely passionate about welcoming families and supporting them through finding care for a loved one.
In my free time, I enjoy exercising and being outdoors.

Hi, my name is Olivia. I have been in administration for 10 years, and it gives me great pleasure to be part of a team that concentrates on person-centred care. My role includes supporting residents and their families with any financial matters that may arise, this may ordering a favourite newspaper or making sure a resident has their hair done and looks extra special for a family event.

My team and I will be some of the first people you meet when you come into the home. We make a point of knowing all of the residents and their families, and look forward to welcoming you to Bayleaf.

Hello, my name is Denis, and I am the Home Services Advisor here at Bayleaf Care Home.

I joined Barchester in 202,4 and I am here to ensure that the process of moving your loved one into Bayleaf is as straightforward as possible.

I have previous experience in this role, and one of the most satisfying parts of my job is seeing our new residents settle into their new home. The relationship that I have built with the residents and their families is priceless, and to be part of this journey is a genuine privilege.

Hello, my name is Sophie, and I am the Activities Coordinator here at Bayleaf.

I have worked as an Activities Coordinator for the past 2 years, and each day I feel so motivated to create a meaningful memory for every single resident. Well-being is a vital part of delivering the best care to our residents.

My role is about nurturing connections, supporting hobbies and the ability to try something new. It’s important to still do things that are important to the individual and feel fulfilled at the end of the day.

Hello, my name is Stephane, and I am the Head Chef here at Bayleaf.

I am a Frenchman with 25 years of experience in the hotel restaurant sector, plus 10 years in the catering sector, including schools and care homes. I have a passion for food and love my food to taste as good as it looks.

I enjoy spending time with our residents to find all of their likes and dislikes. This helps me to make our menus personal for everyone.

Hello, my name is Mark, and I am the Gardener here at Bayleaf.

I’ve worked in home and garden maintenance for many years and in my spare time spend a lot of time outdoors, walking, running and cycling and love living on our boat on the River Great Ouse. I also enjoy reading, cooking and going to the gym.

It’s great to see how much joy our outdoor space brings to our residents, whether it’s enjoying a stroll around the garden, helping with planting and tending to the plants or simply sitting enjoying the flowers.
