View Full Details of Romford Nursing Care CentreRNCC is a big family , the staff is kind and very helpful. From the very first day, we felt reassured by the warmth and professionalism of the staff. The team has gone above and beyond to ensure that our relative feels comfortable, safe, and respected. It's clear that the carers are not only well-trained but genuinely compassionate - they treat residents like family. The communication with families has also been excellent. We are always kept informed about any changes in health, daily routines, or medications. The staff are approachable and always willing to take time to answer questions or provide updates. We've also been very impressed by the activities and social events provided. Our relative particularly enjoys the [e.g., music afternoons, art sessions, the singing and dancing which have brought back a sense of joy and purpose. The meals are nutritious and well-prepared, and the home itself is always clean, comfortable, and welcome
Clean and tidy. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Came to celebrate Lilian's 90th birthday, had a smashing time spending the afternoon with her family and friends and enjoyed the entertainment too, the staff was very helpful, made you feel very welcome.
They treat the residents nice and the staff. The management support the staff all the time and make sure the residents are number one on everything. We all respect this is the residents home we treat them with respect and make sure they have their choices all the time.
My mum has been in the home nearly a year. The home itself is very clean and bright and welcoming unlike some of the homes I visited prior to mum coming here. She has a lovely room and is very happy, she almost treats it like it is her little flat and has made it very homely with some of her personal things. Now onto the staff, throughout the complex all staff are so lovely and caring and I as a daughter find it very endearing that they care for her as much as her family. In the summer the lift broke down with myself, my mum and sister and partner in, it was a very hot day and mum started to become unwell, when we were finally released, the care and concern for my mum was paramount, we was overwhelmed with the care and attention she got. With this home if you have a problem, they deal with it, if you have a concern, they deal with it. I cannot fault the home!
My husband went in for 2 weeks respite due to myself his wife needing a rest, my anxiety was very high about letting others take full care of his needs I shouldn't have lost sleep over this as he was treated with love care and dignity. Spacious clean home friendly staff. We as family and friends visiting were also made very welcome. Plenty always going on activity's outings fun days in the sunshine garden party's the patients always singing dancing with many a smiling face a joy to see. I am currently in the process of handing full time care over to another care home but couldn't get funded for Romford Nursing Care Centre for which I'm sad about as I felt very comfortable around the patients and caring staff .
This is a perfect example of how an excellent Residential Home is run. Truly sincere care given to both the resident and their family from the wonderful carers, staff, management, cooks, cleaners, handyman, and the volunteers. All self-driven, approachable and happy to help and guide you. Recently, I brought a collage of my great niece, and the handyman positioned it perfectly.
Mum has only been here for 5 days. Everyone is really friendly. I am happy with the home so far. Her carers have been great. I hope mum settled down and starts to enjoy living here.
My mum has only just moved in last Wednesday all of the staff seem very friendly and seem to helped her settle in. I hope to be around over the next week to help her settle in also.
Mum has been with you for almost 3 months, I had obvious reservations. These were soon relieved everyone I have encountered at the Home have been kind and considerate. The communication has been very good and mum is beginning to get used to here surroundings. In short I am so far very happy with all aspects of mums care.
With my wife being in Romford Nursing Care Centre for two years every member of staff from management to gardeners have done an excellent job 10/10 to you all everyone very caring.
I am a regular visitor to see my friend who is in your care after coming from another hoe. Your staff on reception are always welcoming. It always smells lovely and so clean. I see constant drinks, snacks and attention given to her. I can compare with the other care home. I also visit my friend's room and lounge, cleanliness and friendly staff are equally nice. Can't comment on food. Only what I observe.
Always welcoming, always smells lovely throughout the building, guest toilet very clean. The staff go the extra mile and it seems a very happy environment, definitely somewhere to recommend.
My Wife Sister and I, spent the day looking at different Care Homes for our elderely Aunt. We were so impressed with the presentatiuon of all the team and the many function suites. Her ( my Aunt ) room reminded us of her own home. The car quality is outstanding. Regular updates from the Care Centre.. We have noticed how our Aunt has settled down, far quicker that expected. This is not due to the expert staff, but the resisdents themselves. I would not hessitate to recomend this Car Home. 5 star treatment,
Mum seems really happy. Staff are brilliant, caring , hardworking and will do anything to help mum. They are cheerful , it's like one big happy family. If there are any concerns there is always someone to speak to and the manager is very approachable. As for the home itself, rooms are light and airy, the corridors are wide with lots of room and are well decorated. It can sometimes be quite hot but the elderly feel the cold so it's for their benefit. On the whole we are very happy with mums care .
Our experience at RCH has been good. All staff are always happy to listen to us. Helping us to settle in to care home life as well as Mum. Mum has only been at RCH since February and we are very happy so far with the care that she receives.
The home is lovely and girls so friendly and always something going on. Food is getting better and clean and always friendly.
My mum has been in this care home since Dec 2023 and I can honestly say she has really settled in well since day one and even made some great friends. She is well cared for and the entertainment provided is great and her care team are diligent and attentive. Mum says she is treated like a Queen and I have no doubts about her being looked after. She is thriving and happy and I couldn't ask for more than that. Thank you everyone xx
My wife was a resident at RCH for three years, sadly having passed away a few weeks ago, so this review is written without fear or favor . i have submitted reviews previously, this one reviews the previous year but is reflective of the total stay. my wife was very contented here, the staff worked so hard to build a trusting relationship. they also offered me support. The food is plentiful and varied, starting each day with a full cooked breakfast. in a well appointed dining room. the activities team work so hard to provide a full and interactive weekly schedule of activities, The building itself is perfect for its purpose being built as a care home, always spotless and clean. well kept gardens with plenty of seating. the most important component being the staff, it is a very humbling experience knowing these lovely people who not only cared for my wife but me also, there patients and dedication is truly amazing to witness as i have on many occasions , thank you.
My mother has been in Romford Care Home for the last 12 months. I am more than happy with the care and attention she is given there. I have no complaints. The staff are helpful, kind and friendly with the residents and family. I have thought about moving mum to be nearer where I live but as she is so well cared for I have decided to leave her as she is happy and content there.
