Dad has settled here really well. I'm happy that he is well looked after, he says he couldn't wish for better. I have peace of mind that he is happy and safe. The staff are excellent and always very welcoming when I visit.

I am happy that my brother is being well cared for. The staff are very approachable and polite. My brother is treated with dignity. I cannot fault the facilities. The nurses show patience & kindness.

I am very pleased with the progress of my husband health and friend presentation very nice home, clean and comfortable.

Plenty of parking. The first floor reception and cafe is welcoming. All staff friendly and greet everyone with a smile.
Bedrooms are large and comfortable. The separate lounges are modern and decorated and furnished in warm colours.
Residents are treated and cared for but think more staff is
needed on the first floor to care for all their needs. At certain times
there doesn't seem to be enough staff to help with the number of residents.

We are extremely grateful to all the staff from the carers, kitchen and housekeeping for making my mother's stay so comfortable. Mum was very happy here and we were all treated like family. We became on first-name terms with some of the carers and it was always a pleasure to see them. The meals were
excellent and the room was left spotless. It was like living in a five-star hotel. We would be happy to recommend Rothsay Grange Care Home to anybody looking for either respite or long-term residential care.

I have found the experience first class, because staff are all friendly and very helpful nothing is too much trouble for them to deal with.
Knowing my mother is safe & comfortable and well cared for is peace of mind for me.

The Barchester Rothsay Grange Care Home was very supportive when I needed care for my elderly mother at short notice.
They reassured me that all my mother's needs were not a problem.
My mother has settled in very well and pleased with the home.
I enjoy visiting the Rothsay Grange as it is very
welcoming.
So pleased we found the home.

What a lovely environment for residents. Beautifully furnished and decorated, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Staff so friendly, helpful and obviously very caring.
A Care Home to which I would happily admit any relative should such become a necessity.

My husband has only been in Barchester Rothsay Grange Care Home since August 12th 2024 so it's early days but I felt the manager and staff were very welcoming. They are very helpful and 'smiley' which helps me enjoy my visits because it can be a bit daunting for relatives. I know Rothsay Grange
because my mother was a resident 10 or more years ago and that is why it was an easy choice.

My uncle was admitted in July and was made to feel very welcome. We were all very impressed with the facilities and cleanliness of Rothsay Grange. Thank you so much for looking after him in his last days, it is very much appreciated, you have a great team.

My nan has been a resident at Barchester Rothsay Grange Care Home for eighteen months now and the recent refurbishment of her home by Barchester is gorgeous, the décor is stylish, plush, practical and homely and has transformed Rothsay into a luxury home with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The
staff are happy, attentive, friendly and truly know their residents. I feel so welcome and at home there, small things like homemade birthday cakes for everyone and how welcome pets and friends are made when they visit the staff is fab. I really feel like it is an extension of my nan's family now. I am very impressed with the manager of the home, there's an emphasis on care, homeliness and residents living their best lives together with happy staff, which I personally think is incredibly important. You need a happy, supported team to provide the best care and I can honestly say my nan is very happy and she has received excellent medical and dental care without the need for hospitalisation, organised internally.

I used to own a market research company doing fieldwork research specialising in mystery shopping customer satisfaction. I came to see our friend and everything is clean - no smell. Staff excellent. We are very pleased to see our friend being taken so carefully attended to in such lovely
surroundings. I would recommend you to anyone requiring your care. It is also good for visitors to feel at ease under such difficult circumstances we find our friend in.

My father stayed at the nursing home for twelve days at the end of his life.
My mum and I found everyone at Barchester Rothsay Grange Care Home to be caring, respectful, skilled and responsive to our questions and thoughts.
We were so impressed with the care they gave and dignity with my father.
We couldn't have wished for a more peaceful and caring end. Special thanks to the deputy manager, all the nurses and the general manager, such lovely people in a stressful time.

My mum has been a resident at the Rothsay Grange for over a year now. The staff are absolutely amazing and so friendly and look after the residents very well. The facilities are excellent and the rooms are very nice and comfortable. The recent new change of management has made a noticeable
difference as well and made it even better.

Thank you so much Barchester Rothsay Grange Care Home! Mum was with you for six years and during her stay, she was so well cared for, especially when she moved upstairs to Memory Lane for five years. Some of your lovely staff were with Mum most of her time at Rothsay. So much care and friendship
were shown to her over the years and also to us whenever we visited, particularly during Mum's last few months as her health failed. In her last days, it was so comforting to find staff in her room sitting by her bedside when she was able to do and say so little. Thank you for being there for my lovely mum. My apologies for taking so long to write this review - much overdue.

My grandma has been in the Barchester Rothsay Grange Care Home for sixteen months and the staff and manager are outstanding. They treat my grandma with so much love and support!

This was respite care for my husband whilst I was in hospital and recovery. My husband being disabled with mobility issues was unable to look after himself during this period. All the staff were very efficient and kind. The room was well equipt and very clean. The food was good but could have been
warmer upon serving.
