View Full Details of Timperley Nursing HomeWhat a wonderful care home! Mum only spent 10 weeks of her life there at the very end. She never wanted to go into care and, to be honest, the family didn't want her too either. However, from the moment we visited to look round to the moment mum died we knew it was and had been the best place for her to be cared for and we weren't wrong. Without exception, all the staff including nursing, management, care, maintenance, across the board, showed care, concern and empathy to both mum and the family. She was cared for affectionately and her dignity was considered at all times. The home itself is spotless, the residents are kept engaged and happy with loads of great activities, parties, celebrations ... you name it, their social life is better than mine! At the end mum was cared for with compassion, ensuring that she was at peace throughout and all staff were mindful and considerate towards the whole family. I can't recommend Timperley Care Home enough.
Mum was diagnosed with dementia in April 2023, suffered a stroke in October & we were told whilst she was in hospital, it was necessary for her to move into a care home. Timperley Nursing Home was one of the 3 homes we contacted. They responded immediately. Mum moved in before Xmas 2023. We are delighted with the care she now receives. Tracy & her staff are now like her family - kind, supportive and lovely!
I highly recommend this care home. My Mum was a resident for a year and she was very happy there. The staff go out of their way to care, support and entertain residents. As a family we were made very welcome and we could visit anytime. There were lots of activities planned, virtually every day. There was a variety of concerts, singers, socials, afternoon tea as well as outings. My Mum went on a trip to a farm, a garden centre, and the Bridgewater Hall to name a few. The care she received was excellent, caring and compassionate. The care and nursing staff were professional and extremely responsive to my Mum's individual needs. I cannot praise them highly enough. The whole care home is spotless. All the staff without exception, office staff, administrative staff, cleaning and hospitality staff all interact with the residents and take an interest in their well being. My Mum felt safe and well looked after. It did feel like being part of a family and I will miss my visits. Thank you.
I started visiting my friend in the new year. I was very impressed with the home it being modern bright and cheerful. Her room was very nice and she was able to have some of her own items brought in. As well as a large communal room there was a smaller lounge leading to a patio where my friend liked to sit. Plenty of activities to join in.
I visit one of your dementia residents once a week. From the day I first walked in to Timperley Care Home, it felt warm and welcoming with a really comfortable ambience. The staff - without exception - are caring and considerate, all of them giving of their time and willing to support when required, but equally aware of when to give you space. The home is bright and airy with spacious, uncluttered bedrooms for all residents. The lounge areas on both floors are inviting, with a wonderful coffee station accessible to all. I really like the effort that has gone in to making meal times a proper 'event', encouraging as many residents to eat formally at properly laid tables. The garden might not be big, but it is beautifully tended and offers seating areas for warmer days and a welcome 'change of scene'.
What a relief it was to find this home. Quietly tucked away in a residential area yet easily accessible. The care my husband receives is amazing. I feel totally at peace with the knowledge he is comfortable and well looked after. He is a relatively young resident with lots of energy to walk around, so caring for him is not easy! A big thank you from me to all at Timperley Care Home.
Everything is been all good. I am quiet happy with how it all goes and how my husband is taken care of. Staff is very good 10/10
This is a bright purpose built establishment. On entry there is a cheerful welcome. It would be difficult to nominate any one special carer as each and ever one deserves thanks. It's a privilege to be given a visitors' lounge where refreshments are readily available. We also enjoy the activity room where, whenever possible, with our family we place games, what makes this home is the happy, smiling caring staff. A difficult job but they still smile! Thank you.
TCH is an excellent care home. When we were looking at different care homes in the area this came out on top and has a lovely homely feel to it. We have been really pleased with the level of care that Mum has been given and the fact that she's always very happy. The activities programme is outstanding. There is always something going on and the activities are very varied. One of our concerns was that Mum would be sat in a lounge just falling asleep all the time but we needn't have worried. The meals are also really good with a varied menu. Many thanks to all, you do a wonderful job, Mum's so happy which makes us happy knowing she's being properly looked after.
My Dad has been in respite since October of last year and Timperley Care Home has been nothing but excellent; I can highly recommend them! All the staff are lovely and caring and the management fantastic and supportive. The activities are excellent. The home is spotless. I could go on and on. Huge thanks from us all.
Timperley Care Home is an excellent caring environment. The residents always seem happy, calm and contented. The management and all the staff are helpful, friendly and empathetic, open to any suggestions or concerns. The activity team are excellent and always concerned about the welfare and interests of all the residents.
My father had a brief stay at Timperley Care Home as a respite placement. During this time my family and I found the staff to be friendly, welcoming and caring. The room was of a high standard: clean and well-furnished. There were always staff on hand to deal with any queries or requests. The facilities were excellent and we were very pleased with the care my father received.
Lovely place, my aunt is really well cared for. Many thanks for everything!
We visited several care homes before deciding on Timperley Care Home for Mum. We are so glad we did. The staff are brilliant with Mum, who has settled really well. We think the activities are fantastic and appropriate for all. The food is very good quality and well presented. Any concerns we had were dealt with in a speedy and professional manner. Wouldn't want Mum anywhere else.
Efficient, kind, caring, lovely staff they go above and beyond taking care of all their residents. I am pleased and grateful to you all for taking care of my Husband during his 2 weeks of respite, I couldn't have asked for a better place. They handle amazingly off my husband's challenging behaviour. Again, a huge "Thank You" to the Nurses, Care Assistants, Domestics staff, all departments, and of course the Manager and her office staff all of you are amazing and I feel always welcome. Your love and care for my Husband will be instilled always in my heart. I highly commend Timperley Nursing Home as a top-notch. Merry Christmas everyone!
My mother came direct from hospital into the home for nursing care. Prior to her arrival, the communication between the home and myself was excellent and all my questions that I had at the time were answered satisfactorily. I was nervous and unsure of the procedures but the staff informed me of all the processes and were always very caring, thoughtful, and helpful and this put me at ease. Since my mother has been in the home the care she has received I believe to be of an excellent standard. When engaging with my mother when I have been present the staff continue to be professional. The staff demonstrate good levels of skills, knowledge, and experience when dealing with my mother and she always appears to be very well looked after. Aside from the excellent staff, the building is very clean, secure, and appropriate for the use it has. I am always made most welcome when visiting and the staff are always very pleasant and forthcoming.
Excellent facilities and lovely caring staff. Our Mother is currently undergoing respite care after a spell in hospital, Mum really enjoys the activities and the semi-regular trips out to the theatre, etc.
My mum is so happy here with great activities and care. She has been here since November and is so well looked after. Thank you so much. The care home has a great location and she enjoyed going to see the Chinese New Year celebrations at the theatre.
My mum was a resident at Timperley for about a year before we moved her to a different care home. The staff were okay - they seemed to lose good staff frequently. There was a high carer to resident ratio but the interaction from carer to resident was minimal at best. The rooms were sparse with broken and dirty furniture and had laminate floors, to make things easier for staff not residents. The upper floor where the dementia residents life is very isolating and the only activities were crafts suitable for toddlers - there appeared to be nothing else on offer for residents who didn't want to do this. Any interaction with the accounts department was aggressive and unhelpful. And it was very very expensive.
My wife came in for palliative care. She only spent four weeks at the home, but during that time she was cared for in a way that we had become unable to do in the home environment. My daughter and I were able to be husband and daughter for her and care for her to the best of our ability emotionally during her last days. Son, brothers and sisters extended family were all welcomed. Thank you is not enough.
