View Full Details of Cedar Court Care HomeI always know that mum will be looked after when she receives respite care at Cedar Court, Witney. She looks forward to her stay there and talks about her stay afterwards with enjoyment. The staff are always welcoming and cater for her needs in a caring manner. Her health needs are addressed professionally and I have no concerns about her safety at the home. I am so happy that I found a home for mum that I can feel I can trust to care for my mum so well.
From our first meeting with the manager, Cedar Court has proven to be kind, caring and professionally run. Staff are gentle and warm with my father. He was brought in from hospital discharge for respite care but has indicated that he wants to stay. He has a beautiful big room with dual aspect windows and an ensuite everything that he needs. Nursing staff are very knowledable and really listen to us and my father and have waked to continue his care. Excellent.
Outstanding care home staff very caring and helpful. My wife is in for respite care looked after with care and attention. Would highly recommend. Good choice of food.
My mum recently passed away at Cedar Court, having spent the last 2.5 years under their care with her family's full involvement. During this time, we developed good relationships with care home staff - it wasn't always easy with many emotions driving mum's constantly changing care needs; sometimes challenging conversations, however, it was always with patience and respect, kindness and willingness to help and understand, that we had such a successful collaborative relationship with the team. I will not only miss my mum, but all of the Home team. There isn't enough space here to go into detail, but every part of the team helped mum; from laundry, chefs, activities, care and hygiene, nurse practitioners, management, the handyman - they were great! When mum's life neared the end, they gave us space 24/7 to be with her - provided privacy and food & drink. I will never forget the kindness and compassion of the entire team the day mum died and thank them all for taking care of all of us.
My brother was admitted to Cedar Court after a short time spent in hospital. During the short time he has been here I have found all the staff to be friendly, cheerful, helpful and extremely efficient in their approach to both my brother and myself. They are encouraging him to do as much for himself as possible and are caring for both his mental well-being as well as his physical health. To date I can only praise them for everything that they have done and consider myself to be so fortunate to have found such an excellent home. I look forward to being associated with them for as long as is required.
Outstanding care home! Staff are all professional, caring and genuine. The facilities are clean and well maintained. There is a sense of pride and happy vibe - all the residents look settled and attended to on a very personal and loving way. Exceptional place and our family and friends are so grateful to everyone who is a part of providing this outstanding service.
Amazing staff they really look after the residents. A nice and clean environment, and there is lots of activities for residents. Lovely place located at a good area close to town. Overall, a great place.
Staff very kind and attentive. Always willing to help.
My husband has only been in Cedar Court Care Home for a couple of months. We have found them very caring and mindful of all there needs. I am happy they are looking after him, as I no longer can. I also had a very nice Christmas dinner with him, which I really enjoyed. It is not an easy job and they all do their best. I have filled in activities because my husband cannot join in as he cannot stand or walk or communicate very well and I am not there to see what they do in the morning but I know they try to get him interested in things.
My father was lucky enough to call Cedar Court home. All the staff are absolutely amazing. We sadly lost our Dad in August and the compassion and kindness we received from staff at Cedar Court really shows how outstanding the care is. The home is friendly, clean and so welcoming to all. Dad loved having the grandchildren to visit and we would enjoy an afternoon in the garden playing dominos or watching TV together. Cedar Court is home from home, one big family, and I would like to thank everyone for everything they did for Dad in the five years he was there. I would highly recommend this wonderful home.
My sister was transferred to Cedar Court in August - requiring a lot of nursing care. I have on every occasion witnessed a very caring environment and from the front entrance onwards, all members of staff have been very courteous and caring. The home is very clean and my sister's room is spacious and a very safe environment. All questions I have asked are always provided with answers from relevant staff. My sister, now settled, appears very contented and responds positively to start conversation. She is very happy.
The staff are very attentive to my wife's needs and perform an excellent service. The manager and her staff always keep in communication with myself. I could not wish for a better care home for my wife to be accommodated in. As a relative, the staff always make me feel welcome when I visit my wife. They perform all their duties to an excellent standard.
The home is friendly and generally calm. The staff are helpful. The home is clean and well maintained. I always get a call if my mother has a slight injury. I am aware that there are lots of activities, although my mum can't participate in them. My mum has been moved to a room which better suits her needs and that is very positive.
Cedar Court is very outstanding. The home is very clean and bright, also comfortable. The staff are very good, brilliant in fact. They work very hard to make the residents happy and looked after. They work as a team, they are very friendly and helpful. Also they make you welcome when you visit relatives. The activities team are very good, they do interesting things with the residents. I would most definitely recommend Cedar Court without a doubt.
My mother has only been there a short time, but right from the beginning the manager seems extremely helpful and knowledgeable and very passionate about her responsibilities. The admin staff are excellent - they are welcoming, efficient and very friendly. This is always an upsetting time, I have looked after my mother for years through all the stages of this terrible disease but there comes a time when you know a care home is the best place. Mum is happy, warm, well fed and most importantly CARED for.
My mum went to Cedar Court for respite care in December 2023, she didn't like it at first so I made arrangements for her to come live with me. It didn't take long for me to realise I couldn't cope with her complex needs and reluctantly she has returned to the home permanently. She has settled down now and is being cared for well by all the staff which some she knows by name. I see some of the staff downtown and they are always happy to have a chat so you feel a part of her life and of sorts a family. I still get upset that I can't have her living with me but I feel she's safe, clean and well fed.
Cedar Court seems well run and the Staff are all very friendly and caring. Everyone does their best within the service. All the residents seem very happy and enjoy the activities the team put on which residents can join in if they wish to.
Overall experience has been very good. All though my Mother has only been here a short while the staff have been excellent and very helpful.
My mother-in-law was here for end-of-life care. Only here for a couple of weeks but all the staff from the manager down, are very courteous, caring, discreet, and polite. Every member always greets in site.
Cedar Court Care Home is a lovely place, it's clean, the rooms are a good size and you're allowed to bring personal belongings to make it more homely. The staff are very caring and kind and respectful, they are lovely nurses both female and male, nothing is too much trouble for them.
