View Full Details of Ashbourne Court Care HomeMy mum has settled very well into the care home due to the quality of care and support she has received. She has built up positive connections with the staff caring for her and other residents, which has been wonderful to see! Mum really enjoys the activities and meals each day - both are great opportunities for socialising and stimulation. From my first visit, I felt the care home had a 'family' feel to it and was the right place for mum to be - our experience fully reflects this. I am so grateful for the support, care and experiences that mum is receiving at Ashbourne Court.
Overall impression of staff, from reception, management, to care assistance and nursing staff is overwhelmingly positive. To put it simply, it's clear they care about the welfare of the residents. Where it lets itself down, in activities, many don't seem to happen, there are not that many or a good range.
My mother has had two weeks of post op respite. The team of staff nurses, manager, healthcare assistants and caring staff have all been kind, caring, professional and offer a safe environment for individualised care. The team of activities coordinators made every effort for my mum to join in meaningful activities. Thank you so much.
The care at Ashbourne Court was very good on the dementia floor. The team are excellent. The furniture and sanitary ware are a bit tired and I found the new management company unpleasant and uncaring after my mother died. I worry that this new company will adversely affect the reputation of Ashbourne.
My sister had been with Ashbourne Court for 5 years 1st in care and then nursing, she could not have had better treatment, the nursing staff really looked after her.
The management and staff of Ashbourne Court Care Home have been very helpful in helping my aunt settle in regarding her respite care. She is now going to become a permanent resident as she has settled in very well due to making her feel welcome and cared for.
The resident has been at this residential home for only 2 weeks and up to now all staff are courteous and kind towards my mother. The home is warm and inviting and I know my mother is very happy here.
I would highly recommend this care home to anyone seeking care for their loved ones. My Mum has been a resident for just over a year and all the staff have been amazing with her. She looks healthier than she has in years now she is eating well and after being lonely living at home she now has friends and is always chatting away with someone or joining in the activities. She did not want to be in a care home, but her dementia meant it was necessary. Making that decision for a loved one is incredibly hard, but the team at Ashbourne also helped me on that journey and I can't thank them enough. My Gran was also at Ashbourne for several years.
Ashbourne Court, Andover is a wonderful care home. They are excellent in every aspect. The whole team are second to none, with big hearts and smiles. They work extremely hard to achieve excellent results for all their residents, always and also their families, giving peace of mind to all. I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a care home placement, with all these qualities. With grateful thanks.
Professionally well-run care home, where nothing is too much trouble. My Father enjoyed his time here very much. I would not hesitate to recommend this care home to anybody with elderly relatives who need the love, care, and help they need in their later years.
We have found the care and dedication of all the to be exceptional standard. The nurse in charge of my mother's care keeps us regularly updated on our mother's health and well-being. The manager and his team are all friendly and helpful. The home is kept spotlessly clean with a homely and friendly feel.
Everything is brilliant as far as my father is concerned, so that is all I need to know. He is very happy being here.
My wife is well looked after with respect and dignity. The staff keep us up-to-date even though we are in every day, they still keep us all informed. The home is clean and the staff lovely and caring. She is unable to participate in activities but there is always something going on. She is quite poorly and we are very happy that she is being looked after so well.
I have found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Mum is being well looked after. She is kept nice and clean, her general health is being closely monitored and the family get regular telephone updates, which we appreciate. The home provide a lot of varied activities which we would like Mum to participate in. The staff also share this desire and actively provide her with a lot of encouragement to become involved.
My mother who has dementia, has been at Ashbourne Court for about 16 months. After a two-week visit for respite care, we saw how well she settled and decided that it was the right kind of environment for her long-term care. The staff are very caring and take very good care of her. She is very content in her surroundings and enjoys the activities which are varied and well organised. The food is very good, nutritious and varied and Mum is very much a fan. The nursing team always keep me up to date with any medical developments and I feel that she is in a safe and trusted environment which caters very well for her needs.

During her stay she was given excellent first-class care and was treated with dignity and respect by all the staff and carers. My mum's room is beautiful, clean the food is very good and the activity team are great. Ashbourne Court Care Home is very helpful and stepped in over a weekend to support my elderly grandmother when no other care home within a 30 mile radius (40+) would help. The team are very friendly and provides an excellent and attentive level of care. My grandmother had never been in a care home setting before and was made at home which helped her to settle in very well.
Staff and management are good. It's very clean. The patient appears very happy.
