View Full Details of Ashlands Manor Care CentreEvery day, Ashlands Manor goes above and beyond for every resident. On a wish tree, I mentioned that mum loved horses and dogs. Shortly after, ponies had been arranged to visit the home. Mum's face lit up at the special experience, and as a family, it was so lovely to see this as we were unsure mum would ever be able to enjoy the company of horses again. But Ashlands didn't stop there! A dog show is organised for over the bank holiday, which we will enjoy attending with mum. However, what is important is 'the everyday'. Every time I visit, I see such warm and loving staff, who are gentle, compassionate and supportive. This is every staff member, from reception to catering, from entertainment team to carers. I can genuinely say they go the extra mile for not just residents, but their families too. If we arrive, at what could be an inconvenient time, adaptations are made so we can still spend time with our loved one. Nothing is too much trouble. They really are angels in disguise.
The care that Ashlands Manor provided for my mum was beyond anything we could have hoped for. The facilities are second to none but more importantly the staff are extremely kind and caring to both residents and their families. My mum passed away at Ashlands, the way she was looked after during her final days gave me and my family great comfort during an extremely sad time.
Ashlands Manor is a beautiful care home. The staff are kind and caring. They give the highest quality of assistance. It has an array of activities who is a joy. The safety/security is also of the highest. Food and drink is of restaurant quality. This care home is an asset to the care industry. From my heart and my mum, well done Ashlands Manor.
Floor 1, always so welcoming and everywhere always feels so calm, nothing too much trouble, staff always approachable and will always keep relatives updated. Attention to care & attention to our mum is second to none. Such a lovely team of people who are truly dedicated to the caring profession.
My wife was admitted to Ashlands Manor Care Centre in poor health physically and mentally. She had a fall recently & broke her pelvis/femur and had suffered severe mental trauma leading to dementia and an inability to walk. She had undergone a period of care at home which has proved to be impractical due to her double incontinence and her aggressive behaviour towards carers. Since being at Ashlands her physical condition has improved considerably, although her mental condition has slowly worsened she eats heartily, has put on weight and is no longer aggressive towards carers.
Long time friend of resident, Ashlands is wonderful 'like a 5 star hotel'. Feel so welcome, all staff are so caring.
The staff and management team are so lovely at the home. Since my mum has started living there is has been so good to see mum so happy. Everyone treats mum with dignity and respect and when I visit everyone is always so helpful.
I never cease to be impressed when visiting my dear friend. The recent VE day celebrations and acknowledgement of international nurses day was humbling and delightful. The social media posts are informative, reassuring and make me smile. Always clean, always a professional welcome from staff. Uniforms spotless and name badges visible.
Ashlands Manor Care Centre is a lovely care home, whose members of staff do a truly brilliant job caring for residents. Team members look after my relative in the best way possible and give lots of support. Rooms and all care home absolutely spotless clean.
I was made to feel very welcome when I came to see my auntie. All staff so nice and helpful and professional. It feels like a lovely place to be.
Ok. Yes, happy.
Great facility. Clean and very well maintained. Great staff.
There aren't enough superlatives about this care centre (I like the idea of it being a care centre not a care home). Noting but nothing is enough to explain my absolute satisfaction with everything!! From someone who's lived alone all my life - 88 years in the same house, to be looked after as well as I am, I'm in heaven (almost)!
My mum has been a resident at Ashlands for just over a year. She started off on the residential floor and about 6 months ago, moved up to the dementia floor. Mum has advanced dementia and has good and bad days and two days ago she didn't know me but today she does. My mum is as happy as its possible for her to be at Ashlands and right from walking through the reception to seeing Mum in her room, all the staff here are kind and friendly. They all work so hard and try to stimulate the residents.
Excellent care. Professional care, warm and inclusive and happy environment. Excellent communication with me (family) I am kept up to date with any changes in mums needs or care.
My husband was admitted three weeks ago. From day one everyone has been so kind and understanding, not only to my husband but also myself and family.
My father is very well looked after at Ashlands Manor Care Centre. The staff are kind and friendly to both my father and me. He is comfortable in his room and the home communal areas. The home is clean and tidy. Staff make sure he is eating and drinking and tend to his personal hygiene. They chat to him and know what he needs to make him happy.
I entered the home to a lovely welcome from the reception lady, she gave me all the information I needed. I visited my friend and was pleasantly surprised. The home is a vibrant friendly place spotlessly clean and warm and very calm. I was also introduced to the nurse WOW!! what a charming lovely young lady, caring for all the residents.
My sister moved into Ashlands last October, 2024. She has been very happy and is cared for very well, the staff are amazing. It gives me peace of mind knowing she is happy and settled. I would recommend Ashlands Manor to anyone struggling to live alone and needs specialised attention.
My mother has been at Ashlands Manor Care Centre since before Christmas. She never wanted to enter a care home and was very reluctant and unrealistic. She has been made welcome, made new friends amongst the other residents. Been encouraged to join activities and received exceptional care. She is still struggling to adjust and becomes very confused at times. We are able to relax, trusting that she is being so nicely cared for. She looks well-groomed and always dressed nicely. Very dignified care.
